Our CSM is very attentive and great at ensuring we have a full testing roadmap at all times, even going so far as to help with test setup live on calls. The tool is quite robust for the cost, with lots of features and functionality available to add to your plan. Our tests generally load quickly without a flicker, and admin UX makes it easy to review results and understand impact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our site is quite dynamic so the visual editor isn't great for many of the tests we want to run, however, I think this would be a limitation for most CRO tools. Simple things like swapping images, copy, and links are quick and easy in the platform, but moving blocks or adding elements causes issues. Invoicing is can be quite complicated and I sometimes struggle to understand our cost breakdowns with the documentation provided. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VWO allows me to A/B test messaging and imagery on my website, to see which experiments are more likely to lead to inbound conversions. For us, conversions are leads generated, content downloaded, videos viewed and deeper engagement with the site. VWO is simple to implement and has strong customer support. I use the platform weekly and the calls with our CSM are productive. Integrations with Google Analytics and 6sense were straightforward, but then using 6sense data as variables for personalization is not quite as easy. The Heatmaps and Clickmaps features in VWO Insights are very helpful for making decisions about the website layout and design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the platform can be buggy. Heatmaps and clickmaps often don't work or are a challenge to share internally - likely due to the security provisions we have in place on our browsers/devices. Personalization is not as easy to do at scale compared to other platforms; setting up custom variables requires some effort. Simple edits are easy to do in the WYSIWYG editor but more advanced changes require CSS/HTML coding and can be difficult to implement without bugs in how they are displayed. VWO is an easy to use A/B testing platform that allows you to create tests with their simple drag and drop interface.
Of course you could use their code editor for more complex needs or if you have dev resources available to you.
What u really love about them is their support. Mayank, my point of contact is great. He helps me with queries within 24 hours, goes above and beyond in trying to help me set things up and keeps me in check by constantly following up with me on my progress and pipeline for future tests planned.
Their support is their biggest differentiator beyond their innovation and product updates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like most A/B testing platforms, there is small impact on site metrics and core web vitals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VWO offers a wide array of user research and testing features that are designed with ease-of-use as a top priority. Its easy to set up, the toolbox is expansive, the data is easy to digest, and the insights they offer are relevant to any business with an internet presence. The very best of VWO, though, is their staff, who are as friendly as they are driven in their pursuit of our success with their product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am satisfied overall with VWO, but it seems to me that their insights should include complete site traffic analytics, or at least an integration with GA4 that offers cleaned up dashboards to compensate for GA4's low usability. It'd be immensely helpful for my use case (and I imagine many others) to have all that user data under one roof. For a product about understanding user behavior, it seems an oversight to not have this be core feature of the product. The second point I have is that the data/insights from their different tools should be easier to explort/share. PDF's of the heat/click maps would really up their game, and with how usable their toolbox is, I was surprised it was so difficult to share our findings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using VWO's AB Testing tool frequently for a year now and have found that it has empowered our UX team to create AB tests ourselves with minimal technical knowledge. This allowed us to double the number of experiments we would typically run for the year and freed up our web development resources to work on other projects.
Support was always available when required and special thanks to our customer success manager, Vikas, who has always been attentive to our team and has made working with VWO a pleasure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Getting used to the tool was a bit of a learning curve but this was my first experience in using a third party for creating AB tests so I imagine it would be a similar experience with any other competitor. However, support was easy to reach and helped to answer any questions or doubts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VWO provides a user-friendly approach to A/B testing and site insights. Bipin has been a helpful resource as our Customer Success Manager, always available to answer questions and find solutions to our testing needs. He also collaborated with us when we needed assistance with test setup and troubleshooting. The editor is easy to use, and we're able to implement tests fairly quickly, without the need for advanced developer knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
AI suggestions are very generic. There's no way to consider multiple priority "primary metrics" or receive suggestions for multiple metrics. Certain metrics like bounce don't line up with the standard definitions. GTM integration hasn't been incredibly straightforward. It's difficult to easily gather insights on similar elements across pages, since each is coded individually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

After using VWO for over six months, I can confidently say it's been a game-changer for our conversion optimization efforts. With around 100 A/B tests under our belt, we’ve seen a solid 15% increase in our conversion rate, which has directly impacted our business growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One limitation I don’t like about VWO is the Monthly Tracked Users (MTU) cap. It restricts the number of users you can track in experiments, which can be challenging for growing businesses or high-traffic sites. When we reach the MTU limit, it forces us to prioritize which tests to run, limiting our ability to fully optimize all areas. A more flexible MTU policy would make VWO even better. The tool has a lot to offer and for A/B testing which is our use case it works perfectly. For me there are so many more options whch we don't use however if we need them they are there to pick up. Also using heatmaps to confirm our findings or setting up new hypothesis works really well for me.
Secondly the support from the VWO team is fantastic. They are open to help with all requests we have and for me this is maybe one of the best support we have around all of our tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes developers are needed to set up more complex A/B test however if you have them onboard this is not a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
VWO Testing is an easy to use testing platform that allows users to take AB Testing into their own hands. It was easy to integrate and implement through a tag container or direct implementation onto your website. Our account rep Bipin is excellent and is always looking for ways to help us get more out of the platform. If you're looking for a testing platform that you will use often and get real results from VWO is it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can honestly say I don't have any downside to VWO Testing. It has been a testing platform that has worked well for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VWO customer support is exceptional, with our dedicated Customer Success Manager consistently going above and beyond. They’ve been instrumental in keeping our projects on track, offering valuable test ideas, and even assisting with test setup and tracking. Their proactive approach and expertise have made a significant difference, making our testing process smooth and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool can be a bit tricky at times, and we’ve experienced occasional loading issues. While these problems aren’t deal-breakers, they do affect the overall user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Once we integrated VWO into our CRO workflow, the way we approach data-driven decision-making completely transformed. Jo (client success consultant) and her top-tier customer support team have been instrumental in our testing insights and abilities. They've become valued partners in A/B testing and web strategy as we move to test across our entire site as we build. The tool's simplicity has enabled us to learn and prioritize tests quickly with detailed reports and real-time analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You cannot reset the metrics on a test, you must clone the test and start a new one.
Users cannot delete unused metrics - this causes a little clutter in the archived list Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
