What do you like best about VWO Testing?

After using VWO for over six months, I can confidently say it's been a game-changer for our conversion optimization efforts. What do you dislike about VWO Testing?

One limitation I don’t like about VWO is the Monthly Tracked Users (MTU) cap. It restricts the number of users you can track in experiments, which can be challenging for growing businesses or high-traffic sites. When we reach the MTU limit, it forces us to prioritize which tests to run, limiting our ability to fully optimize all areas. A more flexible MTU policy would make VWO even better. What do you like best about VWO Testing?

VWO allows me to A/B test messaging and imagery on my website, to see which experiments are more likely to lead to inbound conversions. For us, conversions are leads generated, content downloaded, videos viewed and deeper engagement with the site. VWO is simple to implement and has strong customer support. I use the platform weekly and the calls with our CSM are productive. Integrations with Google Analytics and 6sense were straightforward, but then using 6sense data as variables for personalization is not quite as easy. The Heatmaps and Clickmaps features in VWO Insights are very helpful for making decisions about the website layout and design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VWO Testing?

Sometimes the platform can be buggy. Heatmaps and clickmaps often don't work or are a challenge to share internally - likely due to the security provisions we have in place on our browsers/devices. Personalization is not as easy to do at scale compared to other platforms; setting up custom variables requires some effort. Simple edits are easy to do in the WYSIWYG editor but more advanced changes require CSS/HTML coding and can be difficult to implement without bugs in how they are displayed. What do you like best about VWO Testing?

VWO is an easy to use A/B testing platform that allows you to create tests with their simple drag and drop interface.

Of course you could use their code editor for more complex needs or if you have dev resources available to you.

What u really love about them is their support. Mayank, my point of contact is great. He helps me with queries within 24 hours, goes above and beyond in trying to help me set things up and keeps me in check by constantly following up with me on my progress and pipeline for future tests planned.

What do you like best about VWO Testing?

VWO offers a wide array of user research and testing features that are designed with ease-of-use as a top priority. Its easy to set up, the toolbox is expansive, the data is easy to digest, and the insights they offer are relevant to any business with an internet presence. What do you dislike about VWO Testing?

I am satisfied overall with VWO, but it seems to me that their insights should include complete site traffic analytics, or at least an integration with GA4 that offers cleaned up dashboards to compensate for GA4's low usability. It'd be immensely helpful for my use case (and I imagine many others) to have all that user data under one roof. For a product about understanding user behavior, it seems an oversight to not have this be core feature of the product. The second point I have is that the data/insights from their different tools should be easier to explort/share. PDF's of the heat/click maps would really up their game, and with how usable their toolbox is, I was surprised it was so difficult to share our findings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All the insights lacking in GA4 (not to mention what it lacks in usability) are covered by VWO. The heat maps, click maps, a/b and multivariate testing allow us to make informed decisions on the brand / technical changes to our web presence that result in a growing pipeline of engaged users. What do you like best about VWO Testing?

I've been using VWO's AB Testing tool frequently for a year now and have found that it has empowered our UX team to create AB tests ourselves with minimal technical knowledge. This allowed us to double the number of experiments we would typically run for the year and freed up our web development resources to work on other projects.

What do you dislike about VWO Testing?

Getting used to the tool was a bit of a learning curve but this was my first experience in using a third party for creating AB tests so I imagine it would be a similar experience with any other competitor. VWO has helped to turn around the time it takes for AB tests to be created as it allowed our team to build the tests ourselves without needing to use web development resources.

Analysis of tests is also made easier as segments and metrics can be created within VWO and the stats engine makes monitoring tests quick and easy.

What do you like best about VWO Testing?

VWO provides a user-friendly approach to A/B testing and site insights. Bipin has been a helpful resource as our Customer Success Manager, always available to answer questions and find solutions to our testing needs. He also collaborated with us when we needed assistance with test setup and troubleshooting. What do you dislike about VWO Testing?

AI suggestions are very generic. There's no way to consider multiple priority "primary metrics" or receive suggestions for multiple metrics. Certain metrics like bounce don't line up with the standard definitions. GTM integration hasn't been incredibly straightforward. What do you like best about VWO Testing?

The tool has a lot to offer and for A/B testing which is our use case it works perfectly. For me there are so many more options whch we don't use however if we need them they are there to pick up. Also using heatmaps to confirm our findings or setting up new hypothesis works really well for me.

What do you like best about VWO Testing?

VWO Testing is an easy to use testing platform that allows users to take AB Testing into their own hands. It was easy to integrate and implement through a tag container or direct implementation onto your website. Our account rep Bipin is excellent and is always looking for ways to help us get more out of the platform. What do you like best about VWO Testing?

You cannot reset the metrics on a test, you must clone the test and start a new one.

We were unable to see how users were interacting with our page elements - with the help of VWO we can see not only how they are interacting with them, but what they are doing after the interaction. What do you like best about VWO Testing?

VWO is very simple software to use. I've been using it for about 3 years and it's suited my needs perfectly. If you're just beginning in Optimisation the basic package is fine and can get you testing, but then as you progress in your optimisation journey there are lots and lots of packages you can upgrade to and add on.

Aside from the actual software, the support from VWO is very good. Their Support team is excellent and very responsive to my requests. If I'm struggling with building a test I can send off a request to the team and usually they'll have fixed and built it within a day or so. What do you dislike about VWO Testing?

There are 2 things I dont like about the current set up:

- AB tests and Split URL tests are in 2 different sections, so you have to remember which tests are in which section and navigate between them. I'm not sure why they cant be in the same section and then filters used to separate out the tests.

- When you're creating a variant and have made changes to it you cant make a copy of it as it is within the test - you have to create a new Clone of the whole test. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
