We have been using WhatConverts for a few of our agency clients. Never had any major issues, their team sat down with us on request to walk us through the product, how we could optimise our setups and what other features were available.
Recently we put in a support request for a change we did not know was possible and the team not only got back to us extremely quickly, they also actioned the change across our account, saving us a ton of manual work. There are times where WhatConverts is not able to capture the whole URL resulting to not capturing the GCLID. Instead, WhatConverts will use GBRAID and submit it to Google ads. In return, the lead will result into an error and will not be passed over to Google ads. Although this happened on a very small number of leads only. Most of the time, it is working perfectly.
We had to use Microsoft Clarity and Unbounce script to double check if WhatConverts has captured the right GCLID on all of the leads that are 'error'. I've submitted this investigation to WhatConverts Support, and we were able to prove that there are times that WhatConverts is not capturing the whole URL (including the GCLID) and the system will just use the GBRAID and submit it to Google Ads. We spent a lot of time and effort researching numerous tools for conversion tracking. Most of the other tools we tested did one or two things well, but could not track all types of conversions that we needed. We love that WhatConverts tracks phone calls, form submissions, chats, purchases, appointments, and more. Additionally, it's really helpful that their system has so many third-party integrations with extensive documentation on setup. This was a big selling point since our small business clients (and our own firm) needed a solution that can effectively track what feels like a limitless list of systems and platforms.
I've also got to brag about the ease of setup. The onboarding experience was unbelievably smooth. With such a feature loaded tool, I'm impressed, and honestly a bit surprised, that WhatConverts was able to make their platform so easy to use. Their platform is incredibly easy to use and display specific data sets. But WhatConverts really shines with their above-and-beyond customer support. Not only are they incredibly quick to respond to a ticket, but they also continue to follow-up to provide status updates, even if the issue to still being resolved (issues mostly stemming from third-party vendors when porting numbers in, not WhatConverts themselves). The only negative aspect of the platform is the inability to sets date range filters which exceed 1 year. For instance I can only view Sept 2023 - Sept 2024 data and do not have the ability to view data between Sept 2023 - Dec 2024. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The whole service has been incredibly helpful, and personal throughout the journey. I've set up a new client account ever few days and Kaila in the support team has walked me through it step by step with easy, it's been great. To be fair, the intergration is incredibly easy, but having Kaila walk me through it each time is very helpful. Trey what also incredibly helpful in terms of the initial sales. It allows me to clearly demonstrate the value of my work to clients, allowing me to track leads, whether they come from Google Ads or SEO.

Their customer support is leagues above others. When we had a support call, they stayed on the call for an extra 2 hours over time to help us implement a custom solution to a problem we had with an external service that we wanted to route data into the WhatConverts platform. Additionally, when contacting email support about questions, they are extremely quick to answer and help. Only downside i can think of is the lack of being able to delete a lead out of the system. But that is a very specific problem, since i had to make a few testing leads when testing the API so those are just in there now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WhatConverts allows us to quantify ROI with clarity. It's easy to set up, customize tracking features and call flows, and use on a daily basis to qualify calls and add quote and sales values. The only thing that could be better is the marketing spend report. That would allow us to see the full picture of ad spend, quote value, and sales value in one place. Whatconverts is not only a great platform with sophisticated capabilities for call (and text) tracking, but the support team is phenomenal. Whenever our team has a question or issue, we receive a thorough reply within minutes, often including videos and detailed explanation on what we're seeing. Sometimes there are issues with phone numbers being available for specific area codes, though I'm unsure how this can be avoided. Some issues such as calls dropping or not being able to hear anything on the other line have been recorded, however, I fine this is consistent w/ phone service providers rather than with the platform.
