We essentially just stated using Kareo. When we did the initial demo for the program, it seemed pretty used friendly. However, since Kareo changed to Tebra, the entire aesthetic of the program changed and it is very difficult to use. It is not the same program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The diagnosis codes in the notes are EXTREMELY difficult to use. You have to enter the same code 3 times to get it to actually go into the note and it keeps asking for more and more specific codes. You can't just put "I10 - Hypertension". You put I10 and it askes what type of hypertension and give 15 codes. Then you have to put the SNOMED code in, which is pointless. A doctor DID NOT design this program and if they did, they are morons.
The prescribing part of the software is clunky and inefficient. You can't just put one pharmacy for all medications. You have to potentially add the pharmacy in for each separate medication, even if you select to Renew all of the prescriptions at once. I do not know who designed this EHR, but they have never worked in a medical practice in their life.
It is extremely difficult to get a support person on the phone. Once you do, they tend to be as helpful as they can be with a horrible system. We are SERIOUSLY considering ending our contract after two months and switching to another system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have found that Kareo/ Tebra is horrible. We have a programming issue with Medicare Part A as we are a Facility PT/ OT Therapy Billing. We have not been paid for any claims since 05/19/2023. We advised this is a urgent issue for our practice. We are 65% Medicare bases. Medicare Part A Changed its format and I have been working with Medicare and trying to work with this software. First the case was advised it was escalated that you can't talk to programiming. Refused to let us talk to the clearing house. Then I called today and asked for supervisor and we were forbidden to get a person, they said they were too busy. I feel like everything for billing is not a priority. We waited Two Months for the installation of this service and the lack of support is horrible. We were never even trained by implementation. They have no answers. They even screwed up our invoicing, and charged for the two months we were not even able to bill due to installation. That is still and on going issue.
