**What do you like best about Rippling?**

Everything seems easier since we started here. Rippling does payroll automatically, which saves our HR team a bunch of time each month. They even sync with the way we track hours, so figuring out taxes and deductions doesn’t feel like a pain anymore. I also love how simple it is to have new people join us,we just get them all set up online, too. The employee portal lets everyone see their info or change it themselves, which means no one else has got to do it for them.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

Rippling can be kind of pricey for a small team, especially if we need some extra modules or something. It took me ages to figure out the advanced stuff they have going on, and sometimes the app just doesn't work like its normal computer version does.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we had Rippling, we were switching between three different places only to do HR stuff or get paid. Now everything works together,from picking up benefits until they even have a laptop,so there's only one app thingy we use. This switch saved us like 40% on work time so we can focus on actual growth in this case. The employees can finally see pay stubs and take time off with simply one login, which is such a nice change for them too.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

Prior to using Ripling, we were able to manage our HR in one location, payroll separately, and manual IT provisioning – along with mismatched information across each system. At the close of each pay-period it would take a significant amount of time to reconcile all of these disparate systems. With Ripling today when an employee is added or removed from the company, there is only ONE ACTION needed in Ripling to trigger ALL OTHER actions - including laptop provisioning and benefit setup AND updating payroll information. This feature alone has reduced the “back-and-forth” chatter on our team significantly.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

Reporting options are quite flexible, however creating a customized report takes a bit of knowledge in order to create one from scratch. More often than not you will either need to know what you’re looking for prior to entering the data or have someone assist you. Tasks that require only two clicks often require five clicks. This becomes annoying over time. My pet peeve is the inconsistent searching capability within the application. Sometimes I will enter common keywords, and receive no results; therefore, I’m forced to navigate through menu’s regardless. For smaller companies, the cost of licensing adds up rapidly once you begin to add additional modules.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It simply goes smoothly. Approvals go directly to the appropriate people, and I don’t have to waste my time chasing them down. In addition to this, the integration of Ripling into other apps (i.e., Slack & Finance) are a huge help for us. Most of the time, it simply works. On-Boarding of new hires are so much faster than before. What use to take us days back-and-forth is now literally less than an hour.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

I like using Rippling to clock in and out during my shifts and to check my work schedule. It makes my life way easier for withdrawing money, and I had a fast experience with the support team when verifying my bank account information. I love the way everything is arranged, especially the clock in and HR sections. It's lovely that with just two clicks, the money is in my bank account, which I love for its simplicity. The calendar feature is really nice, and I appreciate how managers can post announcements there, keeping us notified. When I log in, everything I need is already there, reducing the chance of getting late by having to click multiple buttons. And the initial setup of Rippling was super easy, just perfect.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

Could be easier to justify when you need to ask for a day off or request a shift change. Could have a section for they own, just like the HR and the Hour.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rippling to clock in and out effortlessly and check my schedule. It makes withdrawing money easy and ensures fast bank verification. I love the simplicity of navigation, reducing the chance of being late by clicking multiple buttons.

While Rippling is an excellent platform overall, there are a couple of areas that could be improved. The pricing can be on the higher side, especially for smaller businesses or startups working with tighter budgets. Additionally, there is a slight learning curve when first getting started it takes some time to explore and fully understand all the features the platform has to offer. That said, once you get the hang of it, the experience is very smooth and worth the investment.

I love Rippling—it’s the best! The time-in and time-out feature is simple and easy to use, and I can quickly adjust my time and fix anything that needs correcting. The banking part where I receive my salary is very accurate, which I really appreciate. It’s also very convenient because I can use automatic withdrawal and get my money without even clicking anything; it’s all automatic. I love that. The initial setup was easy, and overall everything feels straightforward and simple.

Sometimes it's lagging and there's a slight delay when clicking time in and out, but it's okay, to be honest.

I like Rippling for being easy to use and navigate. The proactive updates and notifications are really helpful. It's pretty robust and intuitive with plenty of information available. Setting it up was simple from my end, just requiring an email and password, and it's used company-wide. I think it's a great tool for managing HR benefits and onboarding efficiently.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

What I like BEst about Rippling is how easy it is to navigate, compared to previous employers, this app feels like it was desinged for employees and not the employer, meaning its makes it easy for us to track our hours, submit tickets to our Boss if any discrepancies with our time mangement, and also made it easy to accsess and change my banking info.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

So far, the only thing that i dislike about rippling is nothing to do with the app, but rather when the team is logging in at the same time to clock out, like if 5-10 of us use it, then it's laggy or crashes out, but that may be due to the internet, not the app itself.

making it easy to communicate with my bosses instead of actualy disturbing them, if i need a request change, i just do it on the app rather than in person and so far it been working without any miscommunication

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

I find Rippling very useful for all HR, Payroll, and Management related works in my company. I like its well-structured onboarding process for new employees, which made my experience outstanding. The employee attendance and straightforward leave application process are also great. I appreciate being able to declare and submit tax-related information very easily. Its user-friendly and interactive interface, similar to Windows, makes it easy to use even for novices. I also like that Rippling can send shift start alerts on WhatsApp.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

I can't apply for leave on Saturday and Sunday; this option should be enabled.

It helps me review, sign, and access documents with ease, cutting down on emails and files needed for these tasks. I also find it easy to keep track of my time and send automatic invoices to the people I work for. The setup was really easy and intuitive, requiring little to no training or prior knowledge to use.

The app could be improved. It has fewer features than the web version. You can use it for some tasks such as time management, but you can’t withdraw money and make other things you can do using the web version.

I really like Rippling for how easy it is to look at my payroll structure and the org charts. It's straightforward to see who manages who, when people start, and what they do within the business. The payroll feature is very structured and clear, making it effortless to see the breakdown, and it includes everything you need. The integration of everything into one platform means I don't have to sign into multiple apps for things like payroll, holidays, and expenses, which saves a lot of time and makes things really simple.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

I think Rippling could improve with a better AI feature, like an AI agent to help with certain tasks. Also, the holiday system feels a bit Americanized and confusing; it doesn't just give a set amount of holidays that deducts when taken. Instead, it's like an hourly system, and I'm not really sure how it works.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

I like its simplicity. In my previous HRIS, I had to go through so much work simply to create a new position, filling out multiple pages of forms before hiring someone. With Rippling, I just typed the name of the position and I really appreciate the ease of all of that. Even the org chart is so much better. It just works based on managers and hierarchy, which is great.  Also a big fan of their onboarding team that I've met so far. Kind, helpful, deligthful people.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

So far, one of the only things I've noticed about Rippling is that for one-on-ones, there's no Google Calendar or any kind of calendar integration that will automatically pull in recurring meetings and create upcoming agendas. That's something that I really liked about one of our previous systems. I know our managers appreciate it. I've been told that it is on the way, so that's going to be exciting.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling integrates multiple disparate systems, simplifying our HR processes and reducing overly complicated work. It's easy to use and will allow our hiring to flow into our background checks and then onboarding and ultimately payroll and long-term performance management in a really seamless way.

Several things that I like is Rippling's onboarding workflow, as it significantly simplifies my workday. It feels almost magical when I hire a new team member. With just a few clicks, I select their department and seniority level, and within sixty seconds, Rippling generates their employment agreement, enrolls them in health benefits, and provisions access to all the software tools they need. Additionally, the intuitive employee data import feature made setup a breeze. We could upload existing CSV files, and Rippling smartly mapped most custom fields, which cut our implementation timeline by at least a week and allowed us to run our first payroll almost immediately.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

The organization visualization tool in Rippling feels surprisingly static compared to the rest of the platform. While the data is secure, the interface for zooming is clunky. I would love to see more interactive features like an infinite canvas style layout that allows for easier drag and drop reconstruction during departmental reorganization.

Rippling has been a great payroll and HR platform for our team. I really like how easy it is to add and track my time, and the amount of information available in one place is extremely helpful. Having payroll, benefits, and pay information all together saves me so much time and makes everything much more organized and convenient to access. Overall, it has made managing my work information much simpler and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

The only difficulty I had with Rippling was during the initial setup and first time entering my hours. Coming from a previous platform that required many more steps, I assumed this system worked the same way and made the process more complicated than it needed to be. Once another employee showed me how they entered their time, I realized how simple and user-friendly the platform actually is.

One thing that would have been helpful upfront was clearer guidance on what steps are not required in Rippling, such as not needing to manually log lunch breaks. After understanding that, the process became very quick and easy to use.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having everything in one platform benefits me because it saves time, keeps information organized, and makes it much easier to access pay stubs, benefits, tax documents, and time tracking in one place. It has also simplified the payroll process and reduced confusion once I became familiar with the system.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

The platform is solid and the implementation experience was excellent. Our implementation manager was a standout: clear agendas, fast email responses, deep product knowledge, and practical advice tailored to a small team. We hired our first global contractor in Kenya and went from kickoff to first successful pay run without any friction. Setup was done in a single live session, the contractor got paid on time, and the contractor hub plus auto-generated invoices work well.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

One piece of advice for new buyers: if you have any sense that you'll eventually need EOR, full global payroll, benefits, or other Rippling products, negotiate them all into your initial contract. We signed up for just global contractor payments to start, and once you're in as a smaller contract, expansion conversations become upsells with less room for discounts than you'd get bundling everything upfront. Not a dealbreaker, just something I wish I'd known going in.

Paying our first international contractor compliantly and on a predictable schedule. As a two-person company, we needed something we could set up quickly and trust to run without daily attention.

I use Rippling to ask for leave days, and I find it supports recording and requesting leave days internally while keeping track of how many leave days I have available and what kind they are, like compensatory or admin days. I like that it's very structured and keeps information handy. It's also easy to navigate, which makes the experience smoother for me.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

I think it would be great to have like a main menu in the middle rather than on the left side. When you're in a rush sometimes you have to go through the dropdown menus and that takes time (especially if not used in a long time). Having a main menu right after you log in with a short description of what can be found in every tab would be very useful.

Rippling supports recording and requesting leave days internally, tracking availability and types of leave. It's structured, keeps info handy, and is easy to navigate.

I like how Rippling makes onboarding and offboarding smoother and ensures payroll cycle runs are more reliable. It reduces a lot of manual effort in tracking my team's time offs and is useful for keeping track of internal trainings. Managing my personal time off and my team's time offs is made effective and less time-consuming with Rippling's features for requesting, approving, and tracking leaves. I like the way it's organized with a super simple interface. It's available both as an app on my phone and as a desktop version, making it really easy to use and convenient to access. I especially appreciate being able to quickly access and download pay statements directly on my phone during an application process, which is incredibly efficient and saves a lot of time. The initial setup was super easy too, as I just had to click a link and sign in.

The only thing with Rippling is sometimes it overdoes the sign-in requirements, so it wants to sign in. I've already verified my identity, and it wants to go through extra steps when I'm already logged in on my laptop. It's making me do all these extra steps on the app. It should be more integrated in my opinion. But also, it sometimes seems to lag where I've already signed in. I've already been in. It'll give me error messages I'm not logged in when actually I am. So just some little bugs that I'm sure affect most platforms.

Instead of providing hands-on, practical support, we were directed to hours of videos and tutorials. Too frequently, issues were escalated by “submitting an engineering ticket,” which made it feel as though no one on the implementation team had the expertise or authority to actually resolve problems in real time. One particularly frustrating example was when a team “took a correction payroll off our plate,” only to create significant additional issues for us. The effort required to secure any meaningful make-good was exhausting, and Rippling did very little to proactively rectify the problems or rebuild trust.

I really like that Rippling pulls in all of the information I need in one place. Additionally, the job codes feature is really useful for understanding where time is being allocated. Overall, integrating our employee data with Rippling was smooth.

I want managers to be notified when availability changes are made by an hourly employee. The current clock in/out experience is good, but 'taking breaks' is hidden, which confuses the employee. I'd want managers to be notified whenever an employee changes their availability (one time or permanently) and to be able to restrict how late employees can change their availability. I also want the scheduling tool to know when store hours are, so it can flag whenever an employee is working outside store hours and whenever a manager schedules someone outside store hours. Employees don't easily see the option to take breaks, so they clock out instead of taking the break, providing a negative experience.

It has simplified my work since I can set rules that automatically adjust employee spending limits based on their department or seniority level. This eliminates the need for me to manually approve every minor increase in card capacity, as the system takes over all the limits and budgets. It also blocks transactions if card spending exceeds the set limits, which is super useful. Another aspect I liked was the impressively easy initial integration with our existing bank account, allowing us to link our primary operating account in minutes, and the system categorized our historical spend data immediately to give us a clear budget baseline from day one.

I think the report engine can be quite cumbersome when trying to build a high customized cross border report. The current filtering logics require a very deep understanding of how it links different clouds, interconnect. They need to work better on the filtering logics so we can find data quickly and easier. For us, the biggest advantage has been automation and the reduction of manual work. Processes that used to require ongoing coordination between HR, finance, and IT are now handled automatically. For instance, when a new employee joins, Rippling can create payroll records, assign apps like Slack or Office 365, enroll benefits, and even manage device setup within one workflow. This has noticeably shortened onboarding time and removed a lot of repetitive administrative tasks. 

It also solves a major pain point around payroll accuracy and compliance. Before Rippling, payroll depended on manual updates across systems, which increased the risk of mistakes in salaries, deductions, reimbursements, and tax filings. With Rippling automatically syncing HR and payroll data, changes such as promotions, bonuses, or benefit deductions are reflected right away. As a result, payroll has become more accurate, and we spend less time double-checking calculations each pay cycle. 
The platform has improved visibility across the organization as well. Instead of pulling reports from multiple tools, leadership and operations teams can rely on centralized reporting and analytics. They walk you through every step of the way and work at your pace to make sure you are fully set up and familiar with everything. I love that Rippling has recognized that so many workflows in a company, outside of payroll, revolve around employee data and can leverage that with additional modules such as company credit card tracking and device management. Knowing that Rippling's platform was designed to solve the issue of utilizing numerous independent platforms that were singularly focused and costly was a major consideration in our decision. Rippling offers multi-state payroll compliance, unification of multiple platforms into one, Rippling AI, EOR capability, and amazing customer service. Anna, our implementation manager, was incredible and made the setup easy even with a tight timeline.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

Now that I have gone through the self-guided implementation of our SPEND module, I have some minor suggestions or tweaks for the SPEND module that could make it even more user-friendly. 1) The naming of the module within the desktop browser is 'Finance' but is named 'SPEND' on the mobile app. That is confusing to our employees. 2) Our employees would LOVE a 'Round Trip' toggle button on mileage reimbursements. 3) I would love to see the ability for the approver of an expense reimbursement to be able to 're-assign' the approval to someone else. 4) I have a policy setup to trigger a custom form question that is a requirement for submission, but when the mobile app is used, the form question isn't offered until AFTER the employee 'Submits' their reimbursement, which causes the employee to think they're done yet their submission actually only goes into a draft form. 5) I would really like it if non-required Accounting Categorization questions were hidden. And visa versa, I would like the red asterisk symbol to be much bigger so the employees can more clearly see what questions are required.

The support is helpful, and the modules are easy to use on both the HR and employee sides. I appreciate the many great tools they offer, including an IT suite, Rippling AI, and headcount planning, alongside the typical HR and Payroll features. My favorite feature is Rippling AI, which allows me to ask about our HR data and receive quick answers, generate reports, and execute tasks efficiently. The AI system is especially beneficial for getting things done faster and organizing data without having to extract it from Rippling, avoiding PII concerns. I also like that the payroll system is easy to use, supporting a global payroll and offering separation for multiple types of payroll. Finally, the initial setup was super easy, thanks to their great implementation team.

I like the exceptional implementation support from Rippling. The handling of US compliances is smooth and automatic. I also appreciate its ability to manage payroll, taxes, and other related employment processes. The automation, compliance assurance, and centralized management of our US workforce in terms of payroll system and time off for employees enhance our experience and provide value. Setting up and launching Rippling products was straightforward and a highly efficient experience. The clear structure and dedicated support from the implementation team made the process easy. Rippling has broader features to offer compared to Deel, with more responsive support.

With regards to their whole system and offers there's no bad comments to give but maybe to improve, for their onboarding procedures it would be amazing if the process is shorter. Maybe fixing it to be 2 weeks would be great and instead of having 2 separate implementation managers just have it into one so there's also one call or sync to do.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

I found Rippling to be superior to the product my company switched to. Rippling is user friendly, integrates well and is able to handle data and varied actions much better. Pricing is very competitive for a solid, all-inclusive application. Support and onboarding were easy and preferred over our current provider. AI capabilities were standard and functional-n transparency AI is not often used as we are in the medical field, and it is prohibited on many actions per the company.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

I didn't dislike any part of Rippling. I do know that I had to coach employees on how to find their own profile and navigate to their documents at times. That could be made to be a bit more user friendly.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have now discovered that one of my favorite features with Rippling, was how annual staff reviews were automatically triggered and that I could assign other relevant staff reviews, download the review packet and submit as one document. Our current provider does literally none of this. The integration and ease is quite missed!

I like how Rippling streamlines the onboarding process, taking it from offers through workflow setups all the way into the headcount planning module. The data continuity in Rippling is great because once an employee is added, their data follows them through the system, which I can then use for reports. Everyone has access to the information they need, making real-time reporting much easier. Running payroll is a lot simpler and more compliant with Rippling, and having all employee data in one system makes it easier for us to run reports and manage our workforce efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

I would like to see a stronger recruitment module that would make it easier to integrate and fully utilize our headcount module. The initial setup was not as easy as I would have hoped, but we had a lot of people on our end working through it. And sometimes that caused more confusion.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Rippling to streamline our onboarding process. It ensures employee data continuity, simplifies report generation, and reduces the time spent collecting data for different departments.  We also use Rippling for payroll and compliance.

We just recently completed the beta test for the Rippling AI launch. This tool is an absolute game-changer for us. There are so many reports that we want to see, but didn't know where to start. The AI tool in Rippling allows you to put your thoughts into the chat, and it works with you to develop the exact report you are looking for. We just launched the full AI module t our staff today, I am excited to see how it supports their experience in Rippling and further streamlines our processes.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

The one downside to the Rippling AI is that we had to upgrade our core platform to the pro platform to get the most out of the AI. In the end, Rippling was able to get us a strong price for this, but it was a point of contention when working with our executive team to approve the use of Rippling AI.

Rippling AI has allowed us to expand our capabilities in Rippling and has helped us solve some UX/UI issues our employees were having by allowing them to ask the AI directly for what they are looking for.

The report writing feature is second to none, allowing me to create reports quickly by informing it in plain English what type of report I need and which variables to include. I utilize Rippling as a global hiring hub for bringing on international employees and contractors through the Employee of Record service, which handles all the local tax IDs and legal compliance in countries where we don't have a presence. I appreciate that they have an automated kill switch for IT access, allowing me to revoke access to every single company app with one click. This feature is a massive win for our data security and saves me from manually checking different accounts. I'm a big fan of their App Shop for handling software licenses. It allows me to see exactly what we are paying for globally and automatically assigns licenses to specific teams. This keeps our software budget from spiralling out of control. The way Rippling keeps track of every license and pricing for each IT stack is very helpful. We get alerts if any software exceeds our monthly budget, helping us pay more attention and use fewer resources. Overall, the initial setup was surprisingly smooth. I linked our Apple business manager account, and the system automatically managed shipping and requirements for our remote staff, saving me a lot of time.

It can feel like you are being nickel and dime because so many basic features, log behind separated modules. I'd like to see them bundle some of the smaller tools together as the total monthly cost, become a bit short once you add on things like learning management or spend tracking.

I find Rippling invaluable for managing IT access and ensuring data security with their automated kill switch. It's a huge time-saver in onboarding international employees, handling legal compliance, and tracking software licenses to control our budget efficiently.

I love that I can clock in using the app and keep track of my time at work. It makes it much easier for me to clock in and out throughout my shift. Sometimes I forget to clock in at the time clock when I arrive, or there’s someone in the way. With the app, I can arrive, sit down, and clock in without any interruptions. The initial setup of Rippling was also very easy..

Everything is perfectly fine but it would be better if the time off balance was more accurate. Rippling would show a time off balance but when I would try to request the time, it wouldn't let me use it until a day or two later.

Rippling makes it easier for me to clock in and out without interruptions, and I can keep track of my time at work using the app.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

Everything is in one spot and very easy to use. We use it for new hire and continuing education training. The courses are very easy to navigate and complete. At first I was confused by the 2 factor authentication but now most programs use it. I am glad to have that added layer of security. 
What I love the most about Rippling is the expense reporting feature. I have multiple ways to add receipts and notations. But the most helpful is being able to take a screenshot and attach via text as I make a purchase. The AI is able to match my receipt if I text it later. I can't tell you how much time this has saved me from manual processes at other employers previously.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

I haven't run across anything that I dislike in Rippling. The only thing I wish is that we integrated our PTO requests into Rippling. My company uses another platform specifically for requesting time off. It would be helpful if it was on the same site. But that is nothing against Rippling.

Rippling streamlines the expense submission process for business trips and work related expenses. The text feature is amazing. This saves me time and aggravation!

I switched from using Payentry due to Rippling's capability to have payroll and all benefits available in one place.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

The best thing about using Rippling for me is that it has an easy-to-navigate user interface while providing the ability for me to have control of aspects of my employment that I once had to navigate HR red tape by making a request and then waiting.    Now I can help manage everything related to my employment from clocking in to going on vacation to filing a claim for insurance benefits all in one place.  I love the autonomy that it gives the employee  because it eliminates the need for this aspect of the employee experience to be micromanaged.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

I do not see any downsides of using Rippling.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling has helped to automate a system that often required two or three different employees to manage each day.  Rather than one person handling benefits and another processing applications and onboarding, and yet someone else tracking time and attendance, Rippling does all of this in one place and is there whenever the user wants to access it, rather than during a 40-hour work week.
