  ### 1. Pay Rippling or Light the Money on Fire, the Fire Will Cause Less problems

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

It supports payroll for a global workforce, which makes it easier to manage employees and pay across different locations. The onboarding process is poorly designed and needlessly long so what could be a 3-5 min each employee setup takes 10-15 min each employee. Pricing is awful and (at-least from our rep experience) misleading with contractual gotchas like auto renewing certain parts for a 1 year term even if you stated you want to cancel the full service. Performance is subpar with consistent employee  account issues such as not being able to transfer their own available balances and just saying contact support who does not give answers other than automated Ai response with help article links. Even urgent issues such as "multiple employees are not able to get their wages and error says something went wrong contact support" are not handled with a timeline, urgency, or visibility but the money deducted to make those payments comes out days in advanced or you get urgent payroll emails saying they wont process. Integrations with google workspace was poor and disconnected promptly due to trust issue with Rippling. the UI is terribly designed with no clear intuitive navigation or usability. The "AI" is worthless and would be the same performance as using Apple's Siri if you have a lisp.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None, would have been faster, more stable, and easier to use by setting up a spreadsheet and Stripe/Wise for the payment delivery and saved a fortune on Rippling layered fees for services that don't work.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

Almost immediately after I use the card, the spend shows up in Rippling. Before, I had to make sure I got a receipt and then hope it was visible enough to take a good picture. After that, I still had to find the job number and figure out the right category and description. With Rippling, it’s already filled out for me.

It has saved me so much time and removed the hassle of taking a picture when it’s dark and you just want to eat or rest during your trip.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

So far, I haven’t found any issues. I can’t wait to try the travel feature, and I’m hoping it’s just as easy to use as the other features.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

I love that all of the information that I need regarding my job (my internship) are listed on the platform. All the documents needed for my internship are uploaded and save so they are easy to go back to if necessary. All the information needed by my organization are found in the platform; however, sensitive information is well secured because of the metrics that it take for me to just login to my account. I truly believe that things like my social security number is safe, which took some time for me because I'm always skeptical about putting such personal and crucial information online and in plain access. The app is easy to navigate and it's extremely reliable as it never crashed or lagged throughout my time on the app. Set up was also equally as easy and reliable however I do want to add that I took a session where they taught me how to navigate the setup so the experience could be different for someone who doesn't have this resource. I personally don't pay for the platform but it's definitely a smart investment for a corporation.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

I don't exactly dislike anything about rippling however I, naturally, feel iffy about having my social security number listed on the app. I do like however that social security isn't in plain sight and that it's hidden in my personal information section and I also love that login onto the rippling dashboard takes more actions and metrics than a usual platform does. That aspect makes me feel as if my information is truly safe.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling is solving the problem of miscommunication and not being in the know. My stacks offer all the information that not only my company need but I also need. My payroll stack tells me when my next pay day is, when I'm getting paid, if I've filed all my correct tax files, etc. Instead of having difficulty with let's say finding a wavier or a contract that I signed months ago and forgot about, rippling keeps these files in the document tool so it's easy to come back to when needed. This shows how the integration experience is facilitated by rippling and keeps both the company and the user in the know! It's truly a great app!

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

What I love most about Rippling is how seamlessly the Time & Attendance module integrates with the rest of the platform, especially payroll. In my previous role, we had to manually export CSV files from a time clock and upload them to our payroll software. With Rippling, hours, PTO, and overtime automatically sync. The mobile app is also incredibly intuitive for employees to clock in and out, geo-fence locations, or request time off.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

While the system is powerful, setting up highly complex, custom overtime rules or unique holiday policies for different states can be a bit tricky initially. The reporting tool is detailed but has a bit of a learning curve if you want to build custom dashboards. Also, during peak implementation times, customer support can sometimes take a day to get back to you.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Rippling solved our manual data entry problem and virtually eliminated payroll errors caused by miscalculated hours. It saves our HR/accounting team hours of manual review every pay period. It also helps us stay compliant with local break and overtime laws because the system automatically flags discrepancies.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

The platform is very well designed and intuitive to use on a daily basis. I work in IT for our company and it has been simple and easy to start from zero to managing a small inventory of devices. I love that all branches from pay, hr, time off, and devices all connect into the users profile in one easy to view format.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

The only negative I've experienced with the platform was unclear and outdated documentation. While trying to locate a lost device, the documentation presented a map with a more precise view, but that applied only to devices registered as supervised in Apple Business Manager, and the documentation failed to make that limitation clear.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For my role in IT, Rippling is solving issues I had with a previous device manager by being more intuitive, and easier to implement. It also helps as a single source of knowledge that helps to streamline backend data integrations.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

Rippling is incredibly user friendly, tech-forward and the team is all very knowledgable and highly responsive. I appreciate how easy it was to install and launch different apps and I like that we are able to manage all integrations easily from one dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

So far there isn't anything I dislike about Rippling, just a few things have a steeper learning curve due to how granular you can customize the settings and policies. This will be a great thing once I have a more in-depth understanding of the nuances of the system, but I did create a few issues for myself by playing around with the settings for certain apps that impacted the rest of the company. Luckily, it was nothing that was too hard to correct and our Rippling implementation team was prepared to guide us.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously we were using a much older HRIS platform that had its benefits, but Rippling is allowing us to solve some of the more current, technology-related limitations we were previously encountering by offering more advanced technology and AI functions. Rippling's platform was also significantly less expensive per employee, which is allowing us more room in our budget to explore more integrations by cutting overhead costs.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

For the Password Manager, the security features stand out most to me—especially the built-in 2FA support and the encryption. They give me confidence that my credentials (and the company’s) are genuinely protected, not merely stored. And because it’s integrated into the same platform we already use for HR and IT, it feels like one less separate tool to manage, maintain, and trust.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

The browser extension has some quirks. Occasionally, it doesn't auto-detect login fields correctly, or I have to refresh the page for it to prompt me to save or fill in credentials. It's not a dealbreaker, but it does mean I sometimes fall back to copy-pasting manually.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Rippling, I managed passwords across separate apps with no central, secure system, which created a real security risk. Rippling's Password Manager solves this with encrypted storage and built-in 2FA, all within the same platform we already use for HR and IT, so I'm not adding another login to track. The main benefit is peace of mind: my credentials are protected without extra effort, and auto-fill makes logging into work tools faster.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

After switching from other HR platforms, Rippling stands out for the level of control it gives administrators to make changes quickly and confidently. The platform is genuinely intuitive, every tab, page, and data point feels thoughtfully organized, which keeps workflows moving and has saved me hours I didn't expect to get back.

The integrations with benefits and 401(k) were seamless, and the Rippling teams supporting those integrations have been responsive and great to work with.

Payroll has been a gamechanger. The ability to approve in real time and prepare well in advance of each pay run has dramatically cut down the time I spend on processing, a significant improvement over my previous platform.

On pricing, I appreciated the transparency. Everything is broken out clearly, so I know exactly what I'm paying for rather than trying to decode a bundled total. That kind of straightforwardness goes a long way.

Overall, Rippling has delivered on its promises, and then some.  The AI chat feature resolves questions immediately, which means no more calling an 800 number, sitting on hold, and ultimately being told someone will "look into it." That alone is worth the switch.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

The only downside is the payroll reports provide too much data, but we are working through that and providing insight to Rippling who will take our feedback to their engineers to make changes.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving for efficiency, transparency and an easy onboarding process for our future superstars.

**What do you like best about Rippling?**

What I like most about Rippling is how easy it is to manage everything in one place—especially checking my payslips, reviewing timecards, and filing PTO. It keeps those tasks quick, organized, and straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

So far, everything has been good. I haven’t noticed any issues with it, and it’s been working as expected.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to struggle with having to switch between different systems to check payslips, timecards, PTO requests, and to track when funds were available for withdrawal, which made everything slower and sometimes confusing. Now, with Rippling, it’s all in one place, so we can access payslips, timecards, PTO, and fund withdrawals in just a few clicks. It has also made withdrawing funds more straightforward and transparent, since we can clearly see what’s available and manage everything within the same system. Overall, the whole process feels more efficient and a lot less stressful.

this provides us an integrated platform for IT platform for all our employees and contractors.

**What do you dislike about Rippling?**

Rippling can not handle benefits for our employees (10) without many errors even though they are our broker. They offer no support to make the corrections for the errors they create. They want to charge us for us to make corrections. So now as a small company we will pay for the differences in benefits that they failed to do correctly and we will make the changes to the previous 10 payrolls so that the end of year reports are correct.  We will have to do a monthly reconciliation of all benefit costs for each individual...we could not do this if we had more than 10 employees but this is a workload we did not plan for.

**What problems is Rippling solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They are not solving any of our issues...but they published a document to show us how to correct the errors ourselves. There is no guarantee that future benefits will be done correctly, so we will continue to audit.
