I like that you can log-in, enter/request PTO, enter schedules, contact HR, view paystubs, reports, etc. all from one platform. Maneuvering around the site is super easy and intuitive. Editing or updating a time clock entry is also extremely easy and seeing the cumulative hours on several screens is helpful. I loved the more streamlined timeclock entry format you had prior to the most recent update. I could clock in from my computer or my phone easily. Just open up the app, click on "CLOCK IN" and I was done, then repeat the process to clock out later or take a meal or rest break during the day. Having everything all in one site with multifactor authentication makes doing one's job and finding information we need easy, streamlined, and safe. I do loev having everything in one place so that I don't have to log into multiple websites to do everything payroll or HR-related. Prior to this week I had no complaints about Rippling and did not see any downsides to speak of other than it was more difficult to update a time entry on the phone APP than it was on the website version. This week there was apparently an update and now when I log in there is no longer a "clock in" button. There is a button that says work an unscheduled shift. At the company I work for we don't have 100% scheduled shifts. I work 40 hours a week, my coworker works 20 hours per week, but they aren't the same days/hours each day. It basically depends upon when the physician dictates reports. It used to be very easy to open the app and clock in or update an entry, but now I find myself having to search through several tabs and look for different language in order to figure out where and how to clock in or edit an entry, when it's not a weekday between the hours of 8 a .m. and 5 p.m. ALSO, there used to be a little button that showed we were clocked in. If we happened to forget to clock out we could always open the app, click on Time and Attendance and quickly see if we were still clocked in. No we have to open the app, click on Time and Attendance and if we've gone past midnight we have to then click on MY TIME to see if we are still clocked in and then figure out how to adjust it to clock out at the correct time. It's now much more convoluted and harder to work in both online and on the phone app. In fact, trying to use the phone app now takes more time than the website. I have to open the app, go to Time and Attendance, and then there's a blue bar saying I'm clocked in and the duration, but no button to clock out or add a break. In order to find that section you have to click on the 3 dots below the banner and choose an option from that menu. Please take it back to the way it functioned prior to this update. I rated Rippling a 9 because it offers an excellent user experience, especially with its streamlined payroll and HR management tools. For example, the ability to integrate payroll with benefits administration has saved our team a lot of time and reduced errors. However, I think the reporting tools could be a bit more customizable to meet specific needs. If that improvement were made, I’d have no hesitation rating it a 10. Honest to goodness, I was super satisfied with Rippling! It made HR, IT and payroll run like greased lightning and it did everything with remarkable efficiency. Everything was made easy by its integration, automation, and simple interface, so I never had to struggle much to understand it. Otherwise, I would say that it fully fit my business needs. If I'm nitpicking, perhaps it took a bit of time for me to learn all of its features-but after that it was really easy. That for people registered in another country, setting up their bank account and getting it verified is very tricky and usually takes a while. There’s little to dislike, but occasional navigation issues can arise when exploring less frequently used features. Some advanced customizations require a learning curve. The UI isn't bad but sometimes it can be hard to find the feature that you're looking for. Especially since Rippling keeps developing and updating the application (This is a good thing). Sometimes features have moved from one location to another and I struggle to find where I need to go to do what I'm trying to do. There's also a few times where the application hasn't been as flexible as we would like it to, especially I would like there to be a "back" button on a lot more forms than there are now. I like how it is not an overwhelming software to use and very user friendly. I used to use ADP at previous jobs, and I always found it difficult to navigate, but this is the first time I use Rippling, and I love it so far! As a nurse employed by copilot IQ, I use rippling daily for time management and overall it's been a great tool and easy to implement. I like how user-friendly the platform is clocking in and out is seamless, and I appreciate the automatic tracking of my hours. As of recently, I have started using Rippling with a company I started working with last month. This is the easiest straightforward payroll system that doesn't seem to have many issues if any at all compared to their competitors, such as something like ADP. I am able to get all of my financial records and information from them easily, and signing in is also really easy and simple. I have had issues with other companies or payroll systems that do not function as well as this one. I never have issues logging in. When I used other platforms similar to this one, I would have to contact my manager to get into the app more times than not, because it would say that my password wasn't correct, even though it absolutely was. I have not had any issues with Rippling on that kind of issue!! So far, Rippling is awesome! I thoroughly like the set up of things and how easy it is to access my financial information, as well as access to the system itself. Thank you to the Rippling team! in April of 2024, it was very difficult to reset my password.
Whenever I tried resetting it the new password I just set did not let me log in. Eventually it locked me out of my account for 48 hours, and I really needed access at that point. It was really a technical glitch because I know I was using the correct password (I had just reset it) but it never accepted the new password I created.
I just did this again in 2025, and did not have the same problem. But when it happened in 2024, it was a big problem I was frustrated for sure as it was just a glitch but locked me out of my account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
