What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

We are now paperless because of Redzone. I find the admin app very easy to use, and I can manage all my settings. Changes can be applied quickly, and I can also see the log of changes that I have made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

Redzone is not avaliable on PC and i can only use ipad to accese the main app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Redzone, I used to spend a lot of time manually inputting data from sheets of paper into our Excel files. This was a very administrative and time-consuming task. Now, all the necessary checks are being filled and submitted via Redzone. I have full visibility of the paperwork, including when it was completed and the pass/fail status of the checks. I can better use my time on other tasks. Redzone has also helped me save time on managing work orders much more efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

I have found the most helpful things about redzone are all the data that is provided to all levels of the operation. From the plant floor to director level there is clear visibility to how the plant is running. This data can also be sliced and diced to show specific metrics that are needed, and sent out automatically through daily/weekly/monthly emails. We have found that operators buy in has increased tremendously since they can track live time how they are doing, and are immediatly trying to solve any downtime.

The other thing that I like most about Redzone is the support from the team. Our implementation of Redzone was extremely smooth, and Josh our coach has been very supportive along the way. He shows everything Redzone has to offer, and helps personalize the tool to create exctly what our plant was looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

I am yet to find something that I have disliked about Redzone. There are times, like any new tool, that questions/challenges arise, but the support from our Redzone coach Josh has been tremendous and we have not had to battle these challenges for long without support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Redzone has helped us get visibility on the floor of how each run is going live time, as well as weekly trends of producvitiy across each lines. This helps us create daily actions based off what the operator are seeing and get downtime resolved live time. The other massive benefit Redzone has provided is communication around the plant between Operators, Maintanence, Supervisors, Planners, Plant manager. This has streamlined our communication, having a central spot for everything. The operator can type the thing they need, or are seeing in redzone and send it directly to who can help oslve that issue. This can also be translated between languages to remove that barrier.

Between visility of our productivity & quality metrics, and the clear communication we have been able to improve and sustain our OEE! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Personally, I love how easy the software is to manage, use, and see visually. This system has helped my current company keep track of compliance and effiency at a much higher rate than before. Everything we need to see to make decsions are available without the hassel of remebering where to find this information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

The one thing I dislike about Redzone on the admin level is not being able to specify what location each user can see. Currently, each user will have to create a filter on their account to filter out locations they do not work on or do not need to see. In the future, we plan on using production, pre-weigh, and compounding in the system so being able to filter what location each user can see on the Admin level would be very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

QAD Redzone is allowing our company to track compliance at a much faster and better rate than before. Having our operators fill out paper forms caused many GDP errors that would cause a hault in our process until it could be corrected. Now with Redzone, Quality is able to review compliacne checks in real time to ensure everything is filled out properly and accurate. Redzone has also helped with our manufacturing efficiency. Being able to see exactly what our OEE is in that moment instead of days later has allowed us to be able to make changes/decions on the spot to see what can be fixed. Also having the OEE available for future reference has been helpful to deciede what location needs more work in order to prevent downtime from occuring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Coaching. There are many solutions out there for people communicating internally, or gathering data from equipment, or collaborative problem solving, but Redzone rolls them all into one with the support of Continuous Improvement experts built-in via coaching. Our coaches have been instrumental in accelerating implementation & adoption of Redzone to to see a positive ROI while cheerfully engaging our people for training and collaboration in alignment with our company values. It is very simple to use and visually engaging for our front-line while driving results for the bottom-line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

As we learn, evolve, and expand our usage there have been features & functionality "missing" from our perspective but Redzone is ever-evolving with their customers and developing more complex solutions to drive improvement. One initial hurdle was that the system is only available on iOS, which is also evolving in real-time with the recent release of a web-based admin portal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Workforce engagement & communication. Continuous improvement via crowd-sourced ideas from the people closest to the work and structured problem solving tools to drive resolution. Live-data from our equipment to reduce downtime and shared performance visibility to enable seamless collaboration without submitting a "help ticket". Understanding of true capacity and throughput, resulting in capital expense avoidance and reduced hiring requirements as we grow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Productivity and compliance have completely transformed how I manage the floor. With productivity tools, I can communicate more effectively, track data effortlessly, and implement positive changes that truly improve production. These tools have enabled me to monitor performance in real time, identify trends, and make informed decisions that drive efficiency and quality. I can now stay engaged with every line running, even when I’m not physically present, ensuring consistent support and oversight. This has streamlined our processes and made it easier to adopt and sustain meaningful improvements on the floor.

A key part of my success has been my coach, Rob. His patience, dedication, and drive to help me reach my full potential have been invaluable. When he’s here at CMC, he’s fun to be around and inspires me to stay on top of my huddles. There’s truly no one like him. His energy is unmatched, and his accent is the best! Rob consistently provides insightful advice, encourages innovative thinking, and goes above and beyond to ensure both my growth and the success of CMC. His guidance has made a lasting impact not only on me but on how we approach productivity and continuous improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

The Frequency of Use, Ease of use, continuos improvements, the number of features for data collection, Ease of Implementation, Ease of Integration, and great Customer Support. Being able to have production and maintenance use the same software for tracking and loss mitigation! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

Not having an all button for all the options. Not having these KPIs for reports or displayed on the production/maintenance screen, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), Planned Maintenance Percentage, and Maintenance Cost as a Percentage of Asset Value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Loss mitigation, gives us the data we need to directs everyones to focus on the greatest potential for improvments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

As a whole, it is awesome to be able to see real time data from the production floor from your phone wherever you may be. I use redzone everyday to help ensure checks are ebing properly completed for each production run. In Redzone, I specifically love the compliance and learning modules.

-The compliance module helped to digitize all of our forms and made it easier to review. We also stopped wasting time trying to track down forms that may have been lost.

-For learning, the skills matrix makes it very easy to determine who is qualified or trained on a specific job within the plant and makes it easy to see when you need it in a hurry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

Some downsides we have ran into specifically in our plant;

-Skill matrix not sorting by last name and instead sorts by first name and number of skills they are assigned to. It would also be more more convienent to be able to assign a person to a department instead of having to group them in filters.

-We struggled with deciding what triggers to use when scheduling checks in the compliance module as we couldn't find one thing that would 100% work for us so we needed to decide on the best option. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

As for beefits, Redzone is helping us to easily keep track of paperwork and detemine who is trained to do which jobs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Redzone is a great data collection and communication tool that can be used to highlight areas for improvement in production processes in order to increase productivity overall. It enables employees to communicate issues to the entire plant and create actions which can be used for employee accountability. I like the built in Kaizen, where employees can work together to fishbone ideas and work towards a common goal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

It can be difficult to learn for older people who are not as technologically advanced, or don't have any sort of social media. It needs to have a search function within forums/chats to make it easier to recall information within a conversation so you're not scrolling through a ton of text trying to find something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

For us, it is solving our communication problem in our plant. For a relatively small plant, there is always complaints of lack of information/communication to all floor employees from upper management, as well as a lack of engagement in the greater conversation. Redzone has enabled our employees to communicate issues/concerns, see the follow up from upper management, and receive kudos in the form of highfives. Overall, this has improved employee satisfaction on the floor, and given them more confidence that management is actually working on the issues they raise, and communicating back to them the results. What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

Some of the things I love about Redzone are the commitment to daily discussions while providing a forum for these discussions to not only take place but in essence force action. It is a great tool to make all aspects of your production environment known, but this is of course if used appropriately. I also like the fact that it drives healthy competition within the company to drive improvement. The coaching is a huge part of my great experience with Redzone. I cannot speak enough to how our coach's dedication and effort has help us move the right direction in making RedZone a priority and a part of our culture. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

Some of the items I will say that I do not care for is the specifics around code dates and how they can be verified in RedZone. This is not to say RedZone doesn’t have a function for this, but with the complexity of some of our code dates, I wish it was a little more capable of self-calculating some of our more complex strange code date requirements. Second, the wish would be to have a check conducted each hour on the hour when the line is running, and RedZone does this based on a run time of the equipment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

Redzone is helping us have tough conversations that allow us to move our company forward. We have seen productivity numbers increase by 50+ percent, which we desperately needed, to the point where we have produced more this year than any other year. Team camaraderie and working towards a common goal is improving at our site with the use of huddles and Daily Vital Signs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

i enjoy using redzone and i find it very easy and quick to do my daily inspection task. Redzone also makes very easy for me to connect within my department, we can share pictures and videos and messages and all work related messages.

The group setting function makes communications within our work place very well organised and efficient. i can @mention other departments if i need to get my message shared.

i find the quality check dashboard very easy to understand, i can overview all the QA checks done by my team everyday and i can manage by exception and only focus on the warnings or fails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

Sometime i think is confusing to understand all the functions within the app. sometime when internet is not stable it affects my job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

when i communicate with the shop floor staff, i find the translation function very useful because not everyone understands english and the app can help me translate in to thai language. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about QAD Redzone?

i like redzone becuase i find many different modules that i can explore and play around. the application can translate to many different language this help our staff where english is not their first language.

i used to use paper to fill in our daily checks and when an auditor comes, we need to dig out paper from our archives to fullfill their needs. now with redzone, our check records can be pulled from a easy search.

Redzone auto trigger checks on when it needs to be completed, i dont need to be mindful on forgetting to get a check done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about QAD Redzone?

when we are uploading photos and videos, we can not select multiple items, we can only do it one at a time, this is time consuming. when we are designing the data sheet scheduling triggers, we can only set up one at a time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is QAD Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?

we can retrieve data so much quicker than before and we are now a paperless factory. we no longer need to use a photo camera to take and upload photos and attach to documents and the whole QA process is much quicker and we can utilise our time elsewhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
