## Redzone Reviews
  ### 1. Simple, visual compliance — easy day-to-day use with clear shift continuity

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt W. | Technical Services Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Redzone is easy to use on a day-to-day basis and provides clear guidance on what is required for compliance. It enables continuity across all shifts, and the use of pictures provides real-time evidence of compliance, making expectations and status easy to understand.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

Building the question templates is too rigid; there need to be improvements such as allowing multiple data-item entries for each question and supporting conditional questioning. Sometimes the enhancement team doesn't seem to fully consider enhancement requests. While generally helpful, the AI can be confusing and contradictory at times — it has told me I can add triggers or reactions in data sheets, but they then don't function or behave as I asked.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Redzone is being used to address a broader range of production-based issues, including downtime, top loss, and related concerns. From a compliance standpoint, we can see real-time data sheet completion and receive immediate alerts about failures or risks to product, allowing quicker reaction and the potential to isolate affected product faster.

  ### 2. Redzone: Great communication tool that gets better with each update

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joseph P. | FSQ Lab Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

I appreciate that Redzone has continued to improve over time and has become easier to use. I’ve worked in food manufacturing roles that didn’t use Redzone and relied heavily on paperwork, so joining a team that uses Redzone has been a true night-and-day difference. The application is user-friendly, and it’s been straightforward to train and onboard others. Since I began using Redzone, the interface has become even easier for our operators, and Webadmin has become an incredible tool that’s now used by many departments.

I’m genuinely happy to learn and teach Redzone because I’m constantly finding better ways to build quality data sheets and triggers, and to implement new processes that capture the data we need for audits and for other departments. With Redzone, we can pinpoint faults in our food defense by reviewing data that’s easy to access, and we can strengthen our existing plans with helpful images and insights from previous runs. Webadmin also provides multiple ways to view our data, which helps my team identify the right actions to take and follow through to completion. Since working with our coach, Zach Thompson, we’ve updated our OEE numbers by adjusting our Tmax values. We’ve also created more characteristics to help us track product quality and ensure everything stays within the specifications we provide to customers.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

As someone who joined the team after Redzone was implemented by a previous group, I’ve found it challenging to clean up and maintain the existing data. There are many items with their own naming conventions, as well as data sheets that aren’t being used at all. I wish Redzone offered a feature to help manage older, inactive sheets or products. For example, if something hasn’t been used for “x” number of days, it would be helpful to have a simple way to see that. Or for naming conventions, to have examples of how a trigger was named previously would be nice to see, especially if this could catch if a name has an accidental space after it. I am hoping Champion AI can help with this process.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication has been getting much better, especially as more people are speaking up during our daily huddles. We’re creating action items more consistently, and they’re being worked through at a much better pace. A lot of our team members are using Webadmin to track problematic patterns and identify where we can improve. Redzone also gives us a better way to create CAPAs and keep them stored in one place.

  ### 3. Redzone Delivers Real-Time Visibility and Drives Continuous Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tribhuwan T. | Quality Assurance Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Since its inception, Redzone has been instrumental in providing real-time production visibility, strengthening quality checks, and improving operational performance. The platform has helped to improve communication, and decision-making. Responsive support and a smooth onboarding process, great mentoring helped establish Redzone as a key driver of continuous improvement and positive cultural change at Nuovo..

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

Lack of decision tree format could be one area to improve. Moving the checks from Production to Quality or vice-versa would improve workflow efficiency and the overall user experience within Redzone.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Transitioning to paperless processes has made it easier to retrieve data and make decisions based on that data. Overall, it has improved the team’s efficiency and performance. It also helps build better knowledge and visibility through real-time data.

  ### 4. Intuitive, Real-Time Visibility That Makes Plant Monitoring Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matt T. | District Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

The app is intuitive and easy to use. It also provides a high level of visibility to what is going on in my plant in real time. I am able to multi-task and complete other things while still understanding what is going on.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

The main downside for me is that there is so much you need to learn to really get the most out of the application. It takes more than a few months time to really get up to speed. I am still learning new features even today which is great but challenging when I have so much more to focus on in my role.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For us, we are trying to continue to grow and gain more capacity at the plant and we have benefitted tremendioulsy here. We have increased output by over 20% since we have implemented and our labor has remained essentially the same.

  ### 5. Redzone in the fruit packaging industry

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arvydas T. | Head of Business Systems and Automation, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

One thing we really like about Redzone is how it has helped bring the factory floor closer to the data. Instead of relying only on updates after the event, the team can now see what is happening in real time and take action while it still matters.

It has also helped create more ownership on the shop floor. Team members can see performance, issues, and progress clearly, which makes it easier for everyone to understand where we are and what needs attention. Redzone feels practical, visual, and easy to adopt across different teams and language backgrounds.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

One area Redzone could improve is making some of the reports and dashboards easier to customise. The system gives a lot of useful information, but it would be helpful if users could adjust views more easily to match what different departments need.

For example, production, management, and support teams may all want to see the same data in slightly different ways. More flexible reporting would help each team focus on the information that matters most to them.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The attendence has drastically improved as the information for the production line is now totally transparent. We can run the lines with the right standards (right people, material, settings etc) we are also using Redzone dashboard to run our daily production meeting and it's helping us to keep track of our standards.

  ### 6. Redzone = Win

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shelby H. | Chief People Officer, Human Resources, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2023

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

One of the things I continue to appreciate about Redzone is how easy and intuitive the system is to use. Since implementation, adoption across our organization has remained strong because team members can quickly learn and utilize the platform in their daily work. I've also been impressed with the ongoing support from the Redzone team. The implementation process was excellent, and the customer support and guidance we've received continue to help us improve our use of the system, drive engagement, and identify opportunities to increase efficiency across the organization.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

Redzone has already addressed my biggest concern by adding a feature that allows users to switch between site locations without having to log out and log back in. This improvement has streamlined the process and eliminated unnecessary keystrokes. At this point, I don't have any major suggestions for improvement, but continuing to focus on usability enhancements and workflow efficiency would be appreciated.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Plant communication and engagement on the shop floor. Speed of response to minimize machine downtime and correcting issues real time verses talking about what happened yesterday.

  ### 7. Redzone Transformed Our Daily Operations Through Better Communication and Less Downtime

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Don L. | Production Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

We are a beverage manufacturing facility with about three hundred employees. We started our Redzone about 60 days ago and it has already changed dramatically how we operate day to day. It’s a shock sometimes when you see that initial OEE number, but Redzone has helped us raise that number each day through better communication and reducing downtime. It has completely changed our daily morning meeting structure to keep it clean and impactful, focusing more on the day ahead versus what happened yesterday.
Our coach Zach has from day one demonstrated leadership and clarity that has made this transition easier than any of us here had expected. One thing that our Redzone coach did that stood out right away was he did not just show us how to do use the program; he walked us through it once and made sure we understood it well enough to do it ourselves the next time. That made a significant difference. He was also very consistent about how engagement drives change, helping everyone get involved and encouraging the team to use Redzone to structure all the daily activities.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

If I could change one thing, I would like an Android app as many of our employees use Android phones.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Redzone has also made it easier for employees to raise issues that they may encounter in their day-to-day work environment. Having a direct line to management ensures concerns and ideas are heard and not lost or never mentioned. That has been a big shift for us culturally. From a practical standpoint, this has helped with communication across the workforce. We have multiple buildings and work areas, and before Redzone this meant frequent radio calls or walking back and forth just to pass along information. Now it is all right there at the workstation, and things move faster.

  ### 8. With Redzone we broke our all-time OEE record to an unthinkable 70.1%!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catherine C. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

We got the best results by implementing both the Productivity and Learn modules together. This had a major impact on our ability to develop and share videos of our standards and training content on how to use Redzone, so operators had everything they needed and could get up to speed quickly.

I also like the power of huddles. They elevated the voices of our operators and really changed how we prioritize the work we do, or how we course-correct during the shift using our real-time data.

Another powerful feature we use is Activities. We create actions in huddles as well as in the daily meeting, and we’re able to assign them to the right departments and track them for accountability.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

My factory had no major problems with Redzone, we're pleased with the results.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our biggest issue was line availability. The major downtime events during our setup and ramp-up period really hurt our weekly results and pushed us into automatic weekend runs. Since we implemented Redzone, the difference has been significant: the sense of urgency and the team’s ownership have increased.

Now, every downtime event is treated seriously, starting from the huddle and continuing through our daily forum. Our meetings have shifted from opinion-based discussions to fact-based conversations, which helps us stay focused on resolving the major issues.

We put significant effort into training the team on SMART playcalls, and we’re now seeing the results. They can articulate more clearly what is needed, when it’s needed, and who will do what by when.

We’re very proud of our results so far. Even now after our coach, Caroline B. , left we still keep increasing our OEE. Just this year (2026), we went from 63.2% in January to a record-breaking 70.1% in April. We unlocked line capacity, which has enabled us to stay out of weekend runs. It’s had a massive impact on team morale and engagement.

  ### 9. Redzone helped us save $45K with the Compliance Module on a single product run

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ian D. | Quality Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Redzone brought my factory into the 21st century. Our data-analysis processes were archaic, and now we have information coming in live from our lines.

I’m working closely on the Compliance Module deployment, and I’ve found it very simple to create quality checks and set up the triggers. I was hesitant at first because my plant has more than 80 checks, but I can’t believe how quickly we were able to create them all.

I also appreciate how straightforward it is to create product parameters. Another big plus with Redzone is the coaching. It has been a key to success at our site, because it helped us match the implementation pace to our operators. Even though we had checks ready, we followed the coaching plan to implement them one at a time and go paperless before launching more checks.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

No downsides of using the Redzone system

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My site had very poor control over our quality processes. Sometimes it would take a week for checks to be verified and signed off. Because everything was done on paper, it felt like we had almost no visibility at all. And if something was off, there was a real risk that major issues could become irreversible, leading to significant scrap events.

The biggest impact has been on preventing potential quality deviations, such as best-before dates and label discrepancies. It was a significant win to use the bar code reader during quality checks and to have operators use their cameras to take pictures of the label. To put the situation in context, we already had a quality defect where the wrong labels were used, which led to scrapping the equivalent of $50K worth of product. Over a year, wrong dates represented $33K.

Within two weeks of the ingredient verification check, we had already caught three events of using the wrong seasoning, which—if not caught right away—would have led to full batches being scrapped (a $45K impact).

  ### 10. Accurate OEE and Engaged Operators with Redzone’s Automated Downtime Analytics

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Catlin S. | Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Redzone?**

Redzone implemented something truly unique within our network: the capability to have automated asset counts and automated problem-code issues (upstream issues or downstream issues). This makes our downtime data much more precise, since operators only code downtime for their specific equipment.

This capability has made our OEE calculation more accurate, and now we can identify our main issues with real precision. Redzone analytics is also on its way to integrate with our Powerbi system, which will allow us to seamlessly keep all our analytics live. Before Redzone, we literally had operations populating a board, which then had to be transcribed into an Excel file and incorporated into Powerbi.

We have a diverse workforce, and Redzone being available in multiple languages was super impactful for us. The main dashboard and other visual tools are very effective as well, and they’ve made our operators more engaged by creating a sense of ownership for line performance that was hidden before. The TV screens are well designed and have stimulated healthy competition between our lines to see who gets top 1 on the shift.

**What do you dislike about Redzone?**

No major issues during implementation in our site.

**What problems is Redzone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My site struggled to identify and prioritize issues during the shift, and to resolve recurring problems. With Redzone, it’s very visual and easy to see what the teams should be working on in real time.

We’ve only just implemented it, but we can already see how Redzone has impacted the way we schedule production, how we allocate labor, and how we structure our problem-solving events using real-time data.
