"Bringing real time learning closer to employee at the point of need"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

Forms module makes it easy for the shop floor to quickly input all production data, and then use that data to build meaningful dashboards. Skills management is also very helpful—having clear visibility into operators’ skill levels makes a big difference. We are thinking about using Poka as one stop solution for most of the shop floor activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

Often, we see opportunities for new, additional features that would fit well into our existing process, but the current limitations restrict our ability to progress smoothly. Also, each new feature request or improvement takes a long time to be delivered. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

"An amazing App"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

This application truly makes employees’ work easier. Whether it’s consulting a work instruction to know how to perform a task or solving an issue using troubleshooting guides, it really gets the job done. The electronic forms are easy to create and extremely practical for a company. Being able to communicate with employees on various topics, such as safety and quality, makes it an essential tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

The most challenging part is having to log in as soon as we start using the application, even when we are on a private network. It would be better if the application opened directly and only required identification when a modification needs to be made, using a four-character code. This would greatly simplify the work of production employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

Hi Dave,

Thank you for the amazing review and for sharing how Poka is supporting your teams. We’re thrilled to hear that work instructions, troubleshooting guides, and electronic forms are making day-to-day work easier and helping you communicate effectively around safety and quality. That’s exactly the impact we aim to deliver on the shop floor.

We also appreciate your feedback on the login experience. Simplifying access for production employees is incredibly important, and your suggestion is valuable. We’re continuously working on balancing ease of use with security requirements, and input like yours helps guide those improvements.

Thanks again for your trust and partnership!

"POKA Review"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

We have been using POKA since Q4 2019 and have more than 150 users within our plant. We have mainly utilized POKA as a tool to aid communication within the factory, sharing knowledge and resolutions to the issues encountered.

I like the training aspect that POKA brings, and in recent years we have implemented changes that allow us to utilize this side of the application, mainly for OJT through our TWI programme. The team matrix is a useful visual for trainers to identify training opportunities, as well as for managers to see what level each of their team members has been trained to.

Perhaps my favourite feature is POKA Forms, as they are so easy to create and are extremely user friendly for operators completing their daily requirements. The QR codes take them directly to the form and each form has a similar look, making a standard that's easy to follow and understand.

If there are any issues with the application, the customer support team are always quick to respond and often resolve the issue within minimal time. Where this is not possible, they will keep you up-to-date with the current status. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

There are a couple of design features which could be improved, such as the notifications icon at the top of the screen. This is currently utilized for all notifications and the indicating number is removed when the icon is pressed. It would be good to see these notifications split out into Issue related and Individual task related icons, to better differentiate and highlight when each individual has an outstanding requirement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

Hi Gemma,

Thank you for your continued partnership since 2019 and for sharing such thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear that Forms, QR codes, and the Team Matrix are delivering real value on your shop floor — from faster access to information to supporting training and sustainability efforts. And we truly appreciate your kind words about our support team.

Thank you as well for the suggestion around improving notification visibility. Feedback like this helps us continue refining the user experience.

We’re grateful for your trust in Poka.

"Easy-to-Use All-in-One Platform for Work Instructions, Training, and Shift Communication"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

We use Poka in multiple ways across our operations. We rely on it for work instructions, machine guides, troubleshooting, training, forms, and general information sharing. It also helps our production operators communicate smoothly across shifts and collaborate with different departments. Overall, it’s a single platform that’s easy to use, simple to navigate, and effective at engaging users. For us, it functions as our internal social and working network. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

The biggest issue we ran into wasn’t Poka itself, but the lack of connectivity between our plants. Now that we understand everything Poka is capable of, we would have set it up differently from the start. That said, it’s an advantage that we can use what we’ve learned to better support new plants as they come onboard. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

Hi Sandra,

Thank you for sharing your experience and for highlighting how Poka supports your work instructions, training, forms, and shift communication. We’re glad to hear it’s helping your teams stay connected, organized, and aligned across plants.

We also appreciate your transparency around the initial setup and cross-plant connectivity. It’s great to hear you’re now able to apply those learnings to better support new plants coming onboard.

Thank you for your continued trust in Poka!

"Intuitive UI and Powerful Data Visualization Drive Seamless Rollout"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

I think the very simple, yet effective UI is a huge advantage of the platform. As a corporate stakeholder of the platform for GE Appliances, I have found Poka to be very easy to navigate - from an end user and admin/SME perspective. This has allowed for a smooth rollout across several of our manufacturing sites.

To give specific examples, I really appreciate the following:

- Multiple ways to access the same content (manual through site structure, QR code scanning, ask Poka). This is very accommodating to a high-volume manufacturing environment when the access to information in a timely manner is very essential.

- Sharing of information: since I am a corporate stakeholder of the platform I find it very beneficial to be able to share content (forms, WI/TBS, Skills, etc) across sites. This allows for a fair sharing of Poka admin responsibilities.

- Data Visualization: the ability of the platform to take data and create visible action is very powerful, including "analytics managers'" ability to create custom dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

Our experience has been hampered by a notable lack of customizability. The platform faces challenges when integrated into a broader manufacturing environment, especially where existing external systems serve as the primary data source.

Instead of achieving smooth integration, we frequently find ourselves navigating unnecessary obstacles just to make workflows operate as intended. This has resulted in negative feedback from end users and has hindered adoption.

One clear example of this issue is the difficulty in escalating an issue to a work request once the CMMS system is fully integrated. Rather than having a straightforward connection, we are required to create extra, redundant forms simply to connect Poka with our internal systems.

For the platform to be truly enterprise-ready, the Poka team should provide greater flexibility in considering feature suggestions and enable more customization for individual customer environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

Thank you so much Ben for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review. We really appreciate your perspective.

It’s great to hear that Poka’s intuitive UI, flexible access to content, and data visualization capabilities have helped support a smooth rollout and drive real visibility and accountability on the shop floor. We’re especially glad the AI-assisted work instruction tools are helping reduce documentation effort and equipment downtime.

We also value your candid feedback around customization and integrations in complex enterprise environments. Insights like these help us better understand how Poka is experienced alongside existing systems and workflows.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience and for your continued partnership.

"Responsive Support, Smarter AI, and a Clean, Improved Video Editing Experience"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

I like the support that we have had from the company and their interest in reaching out to us to learn what we would like to see. I like the ai improvements that have been made over the last year and the improvement in video editing. I like the layout and clean feel compared to other systems I have used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

I wish there was more levels when breaking down an asset. The function does not work for a maintenance teams as they would like a connection with SAP and the ability to break down the asset to more defined parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

Thank you, Tara, for your thoughtful feedback and for being a valued Poka user. We’re glad to hear that our support team, AI improvements, and enhanced video editing experience have made a positive impact, and that you’re enjoying the platform’s clean and intuitive design.

We also appreciate you sharing your feedback on areas for improvement. Input like yours is incredibly valuable and helps us continue to evolve the platform to better support our users :)

"Poka for Training"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

Since implementing Poka in 2020, we've been able to improve our site's training program by leaps and bounds! We used to only talk about Operator capabilities by area, but now we can talk about it by specific task. It is much easier for us to identify skill gaps and improve the related training with Work Instructions and Troubleshoots that we embed within the Training Program. We roll out new Skills each quarter to target specific skills and knowledge, and as a result we've been able to drive down specific losses and demonstrate KPI results! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

Enhancements and development of new features seems slow. Also, sometimes an enhancement or new feature is rolled out, and it greatly impacts the user experience in a negative way. I'm uncertain how much actual end users are involved in development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

Hi there,

Thank you for sharing your experience and for being a Poka user since 2020. We’re thrilled to hear how Poka has helped you strengthen your training program, better identify skill gaps, and drive measurable KPI improvements. It’s also great to know the new AI tools are helping you create training content faster and with minimal effort — that’s exactly the impact we’re aiming for.

We truly appreciate your candid feedback regarding feature rollout speed and user experience. Ensuring enhancements deliver value without disrupting end users is a top priority, and your input helps us improve how we involve customers in our development process.

What do you like best about Poka.io?

I like the way it supports sharing and collaboration. Associates with lots of experience or those who are brand new can connect quickly and easily. Sites and associates can leverage not just the collaboration, but also the visibility to technical information as well (knowledge & skills). Visibility to capability, compliance and onboarding data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

I still find it difficult to easily pull data an match Poka data with other systems. A large portion of the roadblocks are internal and security which is also internal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

Thank you for the thoughtful review Jason! It’s great to hear how Poka is supporting collaboration across experience levels and helping make technical knowledge, skills, and compliance information more visible and accessible.

We also appreciate your transparency around data challenges and the realities of working within complex internal and security environments. Feedback like this helps us better understand how Poka fits into broader system landscapes.

Thanks again for sharing how you’re using Poka to improve access to knowledge and highlight skills and gaps across teams.

"Training at the tips of your fingers"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

Poka is a super easy on the spot tool to get the information needed to do all types of things in the work place. The work instructions can be found with just a couple key words. No more searching endlessly for information needed in a timely manner. Also, Poka training is very easy to understand and very easy to work through independently. The way the program uses your skills to track your progress and keep you updated on new additions or changes to things made in the system is pretty amazing. Keeps you focused on the right things, a good way to keep track of your progress, growth, and above all else an easy way to know how to do a job correctly, safely, and to standard! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

Some of the fields in Poka are hard to understand just by reading. Some things you can learn easily, but others a more hands on approach is more helpful. Poka is a really great application for the work environment, not too many drawbacks it's definitely the future in workplaces! I wish it didn't take so long to transfer information from the old system to Poka, but soon that will no longer be an issue either! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy deployment in the company and a truly user-friendly user experience"
What do you like best about Poka.io?

the ease of deploying it within the company + the ease of using it for our users (user-friendly) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Poka.io?

the multiplication of options makes the solution more complex to understand and decipher; when you want to deploy to sister factories that have not yet deployed, it can make understanding the added value more difficult Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Amy Luo of Poka.io

Hi Ludovic,

Thank you for your great review and for highlighting the ease of deployment and user-friendly experience. We’re delighted to hear that rolling out Poka within your organization has been smooth and that your teams find it intuitive to use.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding the number of options and the complexity it can create when expanding to sister factories. As Poka evolves, we’re continuously working to simplify the experience while preserving flexibility and depth for different operational needs.
