Every Guide created is in the same format which allows the end user to know exact how to use the guide regardless of the topic. Update: 03/07/2024 I've been using Dozuki for about 2 years now and they just keep getting better. Dozuki really tries to give their customers the best product for their company. Over the last 6 months there have been many improvements on reporting, ease of customization and overall funtion. I love Dozuki and can't wait to see all the new features that they are working on based off customer requests and suggestions. Update: 11/14/2025 Back again. Just like the last time I made an update, Dozuki just keeps getting better and better. So many new features to come that I can't wait to get access too and play with. As the way my employer uses Dozuki continues to evolve the better it gets. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** Some of the reporting functions are limiting. It might just be the package we have but reports on things like guide usage and visits isn't really there. Reports on user activity is not very good either. Update: 03/07/2024 Dozuki has greatly improved the reporting functions. There is still a little bit of work to do on sortability but other than that I am thrilled with the improvement they've made. 11/14/2025 Dozuki has really stepped up their reporting game. They're slow phasing out their old reporting with a new dashboard system making more data visible all in one location. I honestly can't say its one of my dislikes anymore. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dozuki is allow use to create and publish standard practices that we can share and use at all our facilities. That alone has been the best experience next to having software that is intuitive and the ease of use has enabled our team to create standard work and have reference documentation for our team members. Dozuki has also been progressively getting better with their offerings and number of features to include AI generated documentation from video recordings and with the addition of more training and change control functionality. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** The only dislike I would have would be the "one size fits all" pricing model based on their total offerings. Our team is not using the full extent of the platform's suites available. Having used many different softwares and host sites, Dozuki offers one of the most straight-forward and simple (yet feature-rich) writing tools to date. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** I think one of the biggest limiations to the Dozuki tool, is the lack of markup options in the writing tool. Also, it would be nice to see the ability to have a single guide in multiple places, where if you update the "source" guide, it also updates everywhere else. I believe this is possible, to a degree, utilizing tags. There have been many times we reached out because a link to a video was not available and we did not get any answers so were forced to reach out to Atlantic to get the link. It is super simple to set up and use. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** I would like to be able to have both a picture and a video on a work instruction step. If you print a PDF for the shop floor the picture of a video is useless. Sometimes I need more than 3 pictures per step as well. The translation option is good but not 100% accurate, atleast for my experience going from english to spanish. I feel like dozuki is fully built and the options are great so the monthly meetings with out service advisor about how to use dozuki are not productive. Instead, I could use help being more creative to use the software, design better looking guides or some clever tricks to add to a wiki page. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have moved all of our controlled documents to the dozuki platform. Primarily, I would like to use it as a training matrix for each of my job roles. I want to create learnings that can validate operators are properly trained to perform the operation. Even implement a feature that could block operator view from working if the operator does not have specific training completed. The platform is almost self-explanatory. It is easy to navigate for users. The content is presented in a consistent manner that enables users to find what they need. We appreciate that authors can add images and video, reducing the quantity of written instructions required for more complicated processes. Document control requirements of Quality Management Systems are easily handled in Dozuki. The approval processes are very adaptable and we have never had a problem with document control. We also appreciate that all revisions are retained and easily viewable by those with permissions. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** When we first started using Dozuki the customer service was quite a bit faster. We would receive a response within hours. Now it may take a few days. I understand this is probably a result of the growing site. I am still satisfied with the service. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dozuki allowed us to standardize the format of manufacturing instructions, so regardless of who is creating the instructions, the users view it in a consistent format. Dozuki also retains all obsolete versions that are easily accessible, eliminating the risk of someone over-writing a previous revision. ### 12. We use it for internal processes and external product instructions for our customers, and we have had great experiences with both. Our main reason for choosing Dozuki was the prerequisite feature. We struggled with things constantly changing and having to change it in multiple places was a pain, but the prerequisite features helps us with that. It was also easy to implement into our daily duties. We can just hop right in when needed and the people using the internal instructions seem to really like them and find them very useful. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** When we first started using Dozuki, we had a great experience with customer support, but then we didnt hear back from anyone for the longest time, come to find out the person we were working with has either been let go or had left on their own terms, but we weren't notified and just never recieved responses back. I am unsure if this is still an issue, as I have not needed customer support in a while. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** We never has internal processes at our company, and Dozuki is helping us get those documented and easily accessable so that every one is on the same page and doing things the same way. It also serves as a spot that we can house our external cusomter documents like brochures, install instructions, etc. where they can easily be accessed. ### 13. Easily being able to match indicators on pictures to the bullet color of the instruction is great. Revision control is extremely simple and it's also nice to be able to track down exact changes between revisions using the history tool. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** The pricing models seem to be based on high volume manufacturing integrating into the work order system. Need pricing options for businesses with a large number of total users each using the system infrequently. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** We've seen a great reduction of internal support questions now that there's an easy way for individuals to look up the answers to process questions themselves. This also includes the ability for those employees to get their questions answered at odd hours when they otherwise would have been waiting for the support personnel to get to the office. Additionally, it allows assemblers to give feedback on instructions which are instantly logged. It also allows for the integration of video, and allows for much easier text formatting and image markup than programs like MS Word. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** Dozuki has more in depth features that can be used to track things like training and device history, but they are less intuitive than the work instruction writer. In the work instruction writer, sometimes you can run into issues with images and videos not working correctly due to due to resolution or aspect ratio issues, but they have improved on that and there are workarounds in outside editing software. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Ensuring that work instructions are available and current, and tracking training programs. ### 15. The website functions well, but even when an issue is found or questions come up the dozuki team always responds promptly. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** I dislike the limited capabilities that Google docs/sheets has to offer. Some documents that have been historical in excel had to be simplified a bit to work in sheets. When I try to get facility buy in to use dozuki this is often a main topic. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Dozuki was already implemented when I came on board, however, our facility had documents/training records/procedures in multiple locations with limited control. Creating how-to instructions has been very convenient and useful to our employees across every department. It has been very simple to integrate into our daily functions, especially when it comes to training. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** Printing the instructions, if need be, is not as efficient as it could be. It could be displayed on the printout with better use of its space. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Internally, we have a lot of "tribal knowledge" without any proper documentation of processes. This has helped us create a reference point for training and cross-training our employees. It makes training machines easy for new hires and provides a quick reference for when we need a refresher. I also like the teams option where you can assign certain courses to people in a team and it can remain organized. It is pretty easy to add/delete members. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** Dozuki's limitations come from its step by step process. More difficult machines to learn that are not a step by step tutorial are difficult to write a decent learning guide for. For example, leaning how to use the new CNC Mill machine requires more in depth explanation and nuance than Dozuki is currently able to do. **What problems is Dozuki solving and how is that benefiting you?** Training new hires on machines across labs. More complex features can be added later, but the initial setup is straightforward and efficient. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** I found it challenging to adapt to the requirement of doing releases for every change, even when modifying a folder. They have a great, reponsive team as well. Additionally, they've made improvements since I initially subscribed to the platform that have been excellent steps forward in making the platform even better (approvals/history for wikis comes to mind). Dozuki is very intuitive when it comes to building work instructions (guides), and wikis. I like the format, the UI, and the way the finished documents are presented. The approval processes and document history are excellent, and have made external audits very easy for me in that regard. **What do you dislike about Dozuki?** While Dozuki continues to make great strides, I would say that it still feels like the full potential hasn't been realized. Aside from minor improvements here and there, I think they could make some major upgrades in the way of document control (creating document libraries, fillable forms, etc.) These things go hand-in-hand with work instructions and procedures.
