I like that outreach is pretty easy to configure and setup. They have great documentation that's easy to follow and their support is amazing. If you have teams that manage Outreach and share the admin responsibility, I highly recommend the technical consultative services. Everything for the most part is pretty easy to troubleshoot when issues come up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that Outreach doesn't have an actual sandbox environment. Since every email is unique this makes it difficult to use a sandbox, especially if you have multiple SFDC environments. Also, Outreach has their merge & delete feature but Outreach can create duplicate prospects and the cleanup is wonky and isn't ideal. It would be nice if they had their own merge feature similar to Salesforce. Outreach does not handle situations where a prospect can be in multiple sequences at a time, this is not ideal for any reporting. Also, their API for connecting to a BI tool is not comprehensive. The raw data is horrible to parse through, it's like they want you to only report from within the tool, but a lot of their metrics don't explain or allow you to drill in further. Not only is Outreach easy to use, but the functionality and features are great. I use the chrome extension when I am in Salesforce so I can easily email/call/sequence my prospects without opening a new tab. Very seamless, have used Outreach at my previous company as well. There are zero downsides to Outreach and I have been a user for over 3 years. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the auto-dialer and how tasks are prioritized in the daily task list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like there to be more ability to use snippets in the creation of meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- amazing UI
- The features are amazing
- There's nothing better for a sales person than the sequences you can create on Outreach
- I use it on a daily basis, and haven't seen any bugs or downtime.
- It has a great integration with Zoominfo, which is a great addition as I use both tools extensively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Although the UI is great, it takes a while to get used to it. I felt like the UI was not as intuitive as I would've liked it to be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Helps me keep many contacts and accounts in sequence so I'm continuing to engage with them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't update sequences when I have accounts already in that sequnce. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Outreach is a single pane of glass for sales - it's not just an incredible automation platform for emails (it is that) but it's incredible for pipeline management by using it's custom task creation and prioritization features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Platform can sometimes feel sluggish, but there's a lot of data going in and out so it's understandable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
most account execs have used Outreach before, it's a prospecting tool with sequencing capabiliites plus various other sales engagement capabilities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
compared to newer tools I've tried it has a very old-school UX (very clunky and overloaded interface, hard to find stuff, somtimes feels slow) and what I dislike most is that they offer very bad customer service Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software has the basic ability to compose sequences, schedule emails, set reminders, create messaging, etc... Basically all of the basic functionality you would ask for from a BDR or Sales team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool does not work, it never recognizes the emails I've got in a new email and is impossible to get it to refresh. You basically have to close it out and open it back up for every single action. +there is no product support to be found.
Operating in the gmail app as well as the pull out and stand alone site is just chaotic, there's no other way I can think of to put it, there's rarely a "back" button, so if you navigaste away, it's impossible to get back to where you were efficient.
It logs you out of the app DAILY, so you've got to reload gmail, log in and then reload gmail again.
The mass editing is terrible, to really customize sequences you need to send the sequences one by one- I'm sure the sales people at outreach can talk aroudn this but it's not as easy as it is with other apps like Yesware.
Adding/editing contacts- The UI/UX is terrible, it won't lay things out in a way where you know what you're editing, no way to go back on these edits.
I can not stand this tool, Yesware is better hands down. I've used Outreach for 2+ years, the echo that's heard throughout out org is to get Yesware instead.
The email opens tracking is useless- It doesn't work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that all of my activities is in one area where I can look through each one. I use it all of the time, 24/7 and there are so many great features. I love that you can edit contacts and have it integrate with Salesforce. It is so easy to implement new processes here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like that it sometimes freezes but it is still good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Always easy to use - setting up filters, calling, integrations are always smooth for my use case as an AE who also does his own prospecting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I sometimes find list building to be a little time consuming, particularly when bringing contacts over from Cognism, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
