What do you like best about Outreach?

Outreach provides a great framework for collaborating with (potential) customers on a regular cadence.

Repetition is key and this tool gives a set of features that a) work and b) are easy to use.

Nice integration with other tools (like email) and good dashboarding Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Outreach?

It might come across as overwhelming (features), but on the other hand, the set of online documentation and support is great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Outreach:

Don't look further - we have done a lot of research on these tools. Outreach is by far the best.

Also pricing should not be a blocker. If you implement and use Outreach well, it's paid back immediately.

What problems is Outreach solving and how is that benefiting you?

Having a cadence with outreaches to customers automate this cadence. You don't have to trach outreaches in Excel of calenders.

The benefit is a good cadence with customers without being very intrusive.

What do you like best about Outreach?

I like the ability of my team to have the sequences shared so that they all can run their own business per DGR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Outreach?

I wish there was a better way to collaborate on sequence creation. Having to create in Google and then copy and paste over into them is a time suck. I would be so helpful if they had a collaboration feature during sequence creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Outreach?

I appreciate all the different features that Outreach has to offer from the snippets and templates to the sequences that sales reps use with ease. Outreach has seamless integration with different platforms like salesforce and Gmail for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Outreach?

I really like how simple it is to be able to start making dials and not have to go and search for a contact each time, it helps remove the search and peck process for finding your contacts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Outreach?

I wish that Outreach synced up with Cases within Salesforce. I work as a Customer Success Manager now and I cannot sync up dials to individual cases, which would be a great way to streamline even further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Outreach solving and how is that benefiting you?

I was able to use Outreach quite a bit for making dials as an SDR, and it's ease of use allowed me to use it in another role for getting clients back onto their Implementation calls. It has helped me stay organized to not let calls fall through the cracks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is so much more potential with triggers. Need to trigger when a sequence ends. Tags should be able to be used as an action or criteria in tirggers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Outreach?

It takes some time for you to figure out a system that works for you, but once you do, it's the most helpful platform in your sales set up.

Once you've got that sorted, you can move on to exploring more features. I just found out that you can edit emails in a sequence specific to a prospect without changing the entire sequence! I only wish I learned it earlier, because as far as I know there is no way to make future edits after you've added them into the sequence (without some complicated work arounds). Highly recommend playing around and clicking every single button and check box you find, as well as playing with settings and filters.

They have speedy and effective customer service; a huge plus is that it's within the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Outreach?

There isn't much to dislike. My main issue is that the search bar is very picky when it comes to spelling. You can't put "John S" and expect John Smith to pop up. There's also a formatting issue when it comes to copying and pasting text (even when pasted unformatted), but you will only be able to see that by checking the outbox of your email client. An issue a few of us had was Outreach "disconnecting" with Gmail despite showing an indication that they were still synced. The solution was essentially "turn it off and on again" (disconnect and uninstall Chrome extension).

A possible minor issue for a new user may be that the icons are inconsistent across the platform (i.e. Templates, Tasks).

Other than these, we have more of a wish list than a dislike list for additional features/capabilities to eliminate friction:

- If, in addition to Outreach University (their onboarding videos and quizzes), there was a way to hover over an icon/feature and have a link to a description/instructions/definition pop up, rather than searching up the answer on my own every single time.

- After merging leads/contacts on Salesforce, it would be helpful if the prospect profile on Outreach merged or allowed duplicate emails to exist.

- The ability to create our own task lists (or task categories); I love that we can filter prospects out by 'Step in the Sequence' (among other filters) but it would be great if if I didn't have to manually open up prospect profiles in a new tab (or go back and forth) from that filtered list, or create a new redundant task, to execute a step in a sequence.

- Having the "Include public calendar link" be include the calendar for multiple internal users invited to a meeting.

- Ability to drag and drop sequence steps (or something close); right now it's tedious to edit a cloned sequence without this capability.

- Separate Send and Schedule buttons on mail; if I want the option for Auto-email scheduled for 3 days later to be sent immediately instead, it takes a few attempts to toggle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It’s one of the better platforms for making sure that prospects don't fall through the cracks. I like it better than Salesforce when it comes to keeping track of communications as a team; it's easier to view on one page, plus we can track calls and take notes. What do you like best about Outreach?

Autonomy to structure all of my engagement points with clients through strategic methodology. The platform is very easy to use, make adjustments, test different messaginig, etc. Outreach holds me accountable to hitting my daily deliverables, which are the building blocks to my long-term success in obtaining my long-term objectives. What do you like best about Outreach?

Aside from the easy UI/UX, their enablement with any questions/concerns makes it quick to resolve your immediate issue. The recent enhancements with reporting functionality allow the business to adjust to ensure we receive the highest click, response, and conversation rates.
