I like that when Outreach Kaia is activated, it records meetings and provides a transcript so that it's easy review what was said when making notes after the call if needed. The reporting functions in Commit are also nice to a point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ever since we switched to Outreach it's been a constant battle to see what the next bug will be. My computer has had issues with Chrome crashing, which apparently is a known Outreach bug. Sometimes when we try to access a template, we get a sad emoji-looking square that pops up. You can't skip a step in a sequence without risking it breaking the sequence for some reason, which used to be possible with our previous system and is helpful when we've just reached out to a customer but still want the automatic reminder to reach out. Ring Central has issues all the time to the point I usually have to make a call separately and then log it in Outreach.
Basically, I find the buggy issues in Outreach to be more of a hindrance to my productivity than the positive elements it might have. It's also not user-friendly. It took several training sessions for us to understand where to go to find the items that used to be easy to use in SalesLoft. Their training team also needs work because the trainers we dealt with did not seem to understand what we needed and while they were willing to have several sessions with us, most of them were not helpful at all.
SalesLoft also had an amazing report function where we could customize our own reports and move the columns around to make it easy to see whichever columns the user wanted to see. It was so easy stay on top of our pipeline and make edits from the report. With Outreach, the customization is only at the company level so we are all stuck with the columns we get in the order we get them. Since several teams use Outreach we each have to deal with data that doesn't relate to us to make it work for all.
I can't stress enough how much Outreach takes time out of my day with bug issues more often than it helps me with my sales process. I do NOT recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the sequences, triggers, rulesets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- They don't have native Hubspot CRM integtration and the current integration is via Hubspot and Hubspot isn't trying to solve the sync issues with Outreach integration on their end and Outreach has no clue about it.
- The Hubspot<>Outreach sync breaks once in every two weeks and it scans through all the records and all the contacts and accounts created during that time will not be synced until the full scan is completed and its affecting BDs productivity.
- Been seeing alot of issues with Outreach recently. The emails fail all of a sudden and we have to keep checking Outreach failure section all the time. It says the email failed due to inbox sync failure. But, other one-off emails go.
- Small issues were unresolved over a period of time like Sequence stats bulk export, emails, emails sent on Admin behalf instead of the actual user,
- Outreach is not meant for small teams with less than 30 BDs and have a Hubspot CRM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the esthetics and functions. I like that it connects to sources like google and salesforce. I like that I can create templates to host emails for outreach & sequences. I much appreciate seeing when, how many times a contact has opened an email and if they have clicked any links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like unsend option for quick edits. I would like to be able to see scheduled emails from the prospect page. The capability to send texts.
This is not so much a dislike but it seems to be an add on that does the same as other platforms like Salesforce and Hubspot.
One of these companies needs to create the all in one that doesn't need the other since they all really do the same thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Outreach is really really good for emailing, sequencing, and prospect management. It talks to Salesforce really well as well. The tagging features, call and email insights, and email management features are well fleshed out. With a lot of customizability as well in every aspect. The Outreach support is great as well. - Invalid numbers still show up as a call task
- Sometimes the importing features give me a headache, and emails don't update when updated in the Lead from Salesforce
- Dialing features are not great, and for high volume teams, this will be a huge lag. Sometimes numbers don't connect, sometimes valid numbers don't dial, and we show as spam 15-20% of the time.
- You have to make sure this is setup well for personalization in emails
- No LinkedIn automation Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the user interface of Outreach. I have used several tools like Outreach in other sales roles and this tool easily has the best interface out of all of them. Other tools are clunky and outdated in their design but Outreach is simple to navigate and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were more ways to filter through tasks. I work in a high volume environment and sometimes it would be super helpful to filter through certain tasks and task types so that I can work them in groups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

integrates well with gmail, ok workflows. basic reporting that is easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Outreach is significantly overpriced for what it offers. The platform has a clunky interface and still relies on your own email servers, essentially functioning as an email scheduler with very basic reporting capabilities. Additionally, their agreements are evergreen—automatically renewing annually without alternative terms. If you miss the cancellation deadline by even a few hours (be mindful of their time zone), they enforce renewal for the entire year without any willingness to negotiate. This lack of flexibility makes for a frustrating and rigid customer experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like being able to track when my prospects open my email/number of opens, and creating sequences within the same platform. Very easy to use, I use it daily in my role as an SDR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have yet to come across anything I dislike about Outreach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Everything is easy to find, info is detailed, great ways to organize prospects Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there was a way to group prospects into lists without having to add / remove tags. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What users like best about Outreach is its multi-channel communication, automated workflows, and advanced analytics. These features help streamline sales processes, improve follow-ups, and boost overall productivity, ease of use of solution, ease of integration with our CRM. Users often dislike the steep learning curve of Outreach, as well as occasional bugs and slow loading times that can affect efficiency. Some also find the pricing to be higher compared to alternatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use it everyday as a salesperson. It get the job done. I think the UI is cleaner that Salesloft but apollo is a bit better. Customer support is passable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've used apollo.io and salesloft before and this has got to be the worst software when it comes to importing contacts from Salesforce. I've lost hours of my life doing this extremely simple task. A task that is a no brainer on other platforms I've used.
This drawback more than cancels out all of the positives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that we integrated the Kaia plugin. Being able to record calls and go back and review has helped everyone on our team learn and stay up to date. Additionally, I enjoy the open, click etc. metrics for each email/sequence to help me improve my outreach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not found anything I disliked about Outreach. The interface is very user friendly and functions well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
