Monday has been very helpful to keep my team organized. Many of us use it daily to track much of our day to day tasks. There are so many ways to set things up and customize. There is a little learning curve for the people who are setting up the backend but for the end user it is easy to help them learn to use it.
We integrated with Tracket to also be able to track time spent on projects and for staff who need to track hourly time for payroll. I love the ability to create automations and copy boards.
All of the different views are also very helpful.

I wish the default date field was month, day, year instead of just month and day. Also, the board sharing is sometimes challenging. Sometimes you think that you create a board that is shared with the whole team but they can't see it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Monday has become an essential part of our company. As a fully remote company, Monday allows us to collaborate and see where projects are. The automation allows for less work to maintain the boards or to communicate to the next party involved in the process. This program allows you to get rid of hard-to-find Word docs or meeting notes since you can have it all in one spot. RIP notebooks since you will not need to have one, and you can even have all your own notes in your own workspace that is private to the rest of the team.
The other great feature is the ability to invite guests to the board. These guests do not count as seats, so for freelancers, you can have your clients see where projects are and collaborate with you.
From an HR perspective, in a world where there may be distrust of remote work, this eliminates any guessing if someone is not carrying their weight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is hard to think of anything feature-related. Monday is good at evolving their product and listening to feedback. The only dislike would be the bulk seat pricing. If you are at 10 seats and want to add another, you need to pay for 15. I wish there was a per/user pricing, but I still have the pricing tried for more users. I love that our team can easily collaborate from any device, anywhere. I find the platform extremely user-friendly and love that I can easily integrate my project workflows with other software programs we utilize. The ability to set up notifications based on my own preferences is also a huge plus. I also really love the templates that help me get organized quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because the platform is SO robust it can take some time to set things up the way that works best for me or my team. In order for it to be most effective, you really do need to set aside some time to set up the boards and workspaces in a way that actually works. Also, not everyone on our team wants to login to a different platform to manage their workflow, so adoption has been an issue with several different individuals. The automation feature is a game changer. I like that I can automate a notification to be sent to responsible parties when work needs to be completed. You can quickly and easily access Google files associated with each item and you can turn a recurring event into a child of the current year's event so you can look back on previous years' documentation. It allows for team collaboration along with all of the other features mentioned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see a little more flexibility in the automation process. I know this type of stuff comes with time though. An automation that will trigger an event after a given period of time using a date entered in a column (that can be locked and unlocked by a designated board moderator) would be so helpful. Once certain task are completed it may be necessary for quarterly review. You could enter the completion date and then a review would be triggered every 13 weeks for that item. I don't know if its available or not but I'm about to dig into the possibility of creating groups within team members of a board. We have certain teams within the group on one of our boards and it would be helpful if we could message a team instead of each individual person. If it's there, great. If not, it might be helpful to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform allows our team to seemlesly create and customize workflows, making it EXTREMELY easy to organize and track our daily, weekly and monthly tasks. The instructions on automating those workflows are so easy to follow, that someone who has never utilized Monday can easily begin automating workflows, I'd say within an hour of reviewing the instructional videos (and that's speakign from experience). To add to this is the fact that we were able to integrate so many other apps we use daily and streamline our daily processes, cutting down on missed cases within Salesforce, as well as being notified in real time when we receive cases, cutting down on our time to first contact and time to solve since integrating. On the one occassion I needed to reach out to customer support about an issue I encountered with integrating Slack, my issue was solved within an hour and unlike other project management tools, it wasn't hard or diffcult to reach out to support. We frequently use Monday to track our daily activities and tasks, progress on team and individual projects, and the set reminders are SO EXTREMELY HELPFUL ! I'm quite forgetful, so I utilize the scheduled messaging feature quite often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I just had to find something that I dislike about usong Monday, it would be that it is a cloud-based platform, so you need an internet connection to access all it's features. I travel a lot and work from my laptop during my journey. When internet access isn't available, I find myself at a stand still until I can get back to a stable connection. Monday.com has helped our company across all the departments be able to have live feedback into projects, see current project status, and help keep projects moving along smooth. For our field installers, it has been great for them to be able to use the mobile app. Overall very easy to setup and when we got to more technical issues, the customer support team was very helpful in working through out custom application. Cross board mirroring could use some work. We have had to make some work arounds to make things work. For as much like excel that Monday.com is like, it sometimes lacks features that excel has that would be amazing to have for mittoring, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I fint it most helpful in terms of you can tailor boards, automations, and dashboards for workflows. It's pretty straightforward. With the tagging, updates, file sharing, and more, it's super easy to stay connected with the team! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think it’s heavily reliant on an internet connection, which can be an issue for offline work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Monday.com is a great tool that helps our agency stay organised. With so many staff, each working remotely and in different timezones, we have made our Monday boards the central point where we communicate. It's easy to track everything from invoices sent from clients (and their status), tasks to do, and creative ideas to new areas of the business to work on. The list goes on; we use it all day long, too. What's also interesting is the new integrated AI feature, which is helpful. When we start working with a new client, we add them as a guest user, and we have had no complaints about them using it in the workflow - they find it easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Maybe a chat feature would be helpful, but there isn't really that much that you haven't thought to, I'm my opinion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Monday work management is the absolute best! I have never been more organized at work than I have been while using Monday. I use Monday everyday to organized my tasks for the day as well as overall ongoing projects. I use it to communicate not only within the company but with customers as well. It is very easy to invite customers to boards and show them how to use.
It fits right into our company so well and the use of automations is a lifesaver. I work for a media production company and any monthly tasks that need done I set an automation to add the task to my to do list.
If customer support is needed they are always so responsive and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is not much I don't like about Monday. Sometimes the automations don't have all the features that I am looking for however it has most of what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how easy Monday.com is to work with. The ability to quickly glance at our onboarding process and know what tasks are remaining is so easy. We also use the Dashboard view for our headcount, and various elements of the employees at our firm worldwide. This product is powerful and has been instrumental to streamlining our processes. We had a new hire comment that his onboarding was better than most he had been through at huge companies. Monday.com is part of that reason, along with a great communication tool for our small business, with worldwide virtual employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see more ideas of how other companies like ours are using Monday.com. Prebuilt templates or suggested ways of using Monday.com. I believe we are probably only using 25% of the power of the product. Monthly webinars or other types of learnings, suggestions, etc. would be helpful. This comment isn't a "dislike" but a nice to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
