The system is intuitive and easy to use and operate.
Its visual features are very easy to use, and anyone with a little technological experience can build the boards they need. Also, because of the system's convenient display, it is easy to Implement it in the organization.
It's also fun to see all the colors and displays that Monday offers.
Monday offers a wide variety of boards and templates, which allows anyone in almost any field to build their own boards based on existing boards while saving time and resources.
I haven't had the chance to contact customer support, but they have a support Facebook group, and I see that their team is very active and even implements rejects in a short time.
We use this platform on a daily basis in everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system does not have an interface in Hebrew at this stage. It can be very useful in Israel.
At the same time, the filter capabilities of the widget views are not yet developed enough to produce an easy data filter. I recommend considering making this process a little easier.
I would like the system to interface with more systems like WISE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly couldn't imagine running a business without Monday. Prior to using it, my team was drowning in spreadsheets, meetings on top of meetings, and endless emails to keep everyone on the same page. Now, everything is centralized and streamlined. Everyone knows exactly what they're responsible for, we have the ability to tailor views to fit workflows, and the built in communication tools drastically reduced our reliance on email. It's been such a game-changer for us that any minor drawbacks are completely overshadowed by the benefits. This is coming from someone that had to be pried away from Excel for project management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We were looking for a project management tool that would make our daily routine easier. Starting with the creation of a few boards, we quickly moved on to integrating up-to-date tools such as email and drive folders. We are still struggling to find a balance between increasing the workspace and ease of use. But customer support is really helping us design our own work ecosystem. I think the biggest difficulty is forcing the tool to work as a bunch of static Excel files that do not correlate with each other. Sometimes automations are not so easily possible, nor is creating a simple and useful dashboard to capture important project data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about monday Work Management is how incredibly user-friendly it is, even for individuals with little to no prior experience in project management tools. The platform’s gamification elements make daily tasks more engaging and fun, keeping the team motivated. Additionally, the speed and responsiveness of the system ensure that workflows are seamless and efficient, saving us valuable time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I find the guest access features essential, there’s room for improvement in providing more granular restriction options and making everything even more customizable to fit specific needs. Additionally, when working with very large boards, the platform’s performance can slow down slightly, which can hinder efficiency in those cases Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our company uses Monday.com widely, and find it to be versatile and easy to use. Setting up boards is straightforward and tailoring the platform to our needs is easy.
I personally use Monday.com daily to manage many parts of my role, including timeframes, task tracking, sharing information, and reporting. It helps me stay organised and work through my daily tasks effectively. I would recommend Monday.com to anyone looking for a reliable tool to improve their workflow. I find the basic boards easy and straightforward but sometimes find the advanced fetaures a little tricky to master. In saying that, I have a Monday.com guru that I work with who is always happy to help me with these so am lucky in that sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monday has been very helpful to keep my team organized. Many of us use it daily to track much of our day to day tasks. There are so many ways to set things up and customize. There is a little learning curve for the people who are setting up the backend but for the end user it is easy to help them learn to use it.
We integrated with Tracket to also be able to track time spent on projects and for staff who need to track hourly time for payroll. I love the ability to create automations and copy boards.
All of the different views are also very helpful.
Customer support has been very resonsive Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the default date field was month, day, year instead of just month and day. Also, the board sharing is sometimes challenging. Sometimes you think that you create a board that is shared with the whole team but they can't see it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monday has become an essential part of our company. As a fully remote company, Monday allows us to collaborate and see where projects are. The automation allows for less work to maintain the boards or to communicate to the next party involved in the process. This program allows you to get rid of hard-to-find Word docs or meeting notes since you can have it all in one spot. RIP notebooks since you will not need to have one, and you can even have all your own notes in your own workspace that is private to the rest of the team.
The other great feature is the ability to invite guests to the board. These guests do not count as seats, so for freelancers, you can have your clients see where projects are and collaborate with you.
From an HR perspective, in a world where there may be distrust of remote work, this eliminates any guessing if someone is not carrying their weight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is hard to think of anything feature-related. Monday is good at evolving their product and listening to feedback. The only dislike would be the bulk seat pricing. If you are at 10 seats and want to add another, you need to pay for 15. I wish there was a per/user pricing, but I still have the pricing tried for more users. I love that our team can easily collaborate from any device, anywhere. I find the platform extremely user-friendly and love that I can easily integrate my project workflows with other software programs we utilize. The ability to set up notifications based on my own preferences is also a huge plus. I also really love the templates that help me get organized quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Because the platform is SO robust it can take some time to set things up the way that works best for me or my team. In order for it to be most effective, you really do need to set aside some time to set up the boards and workspaces in a way that actually works. Also, not everyone on our team wants to login to a different platform to manage their workflow, so adoption has been an issue with several different individuals. The automation feature is a game changer. I like that I can automate a notification to be sent to responsible parties when work needs to be completed. You can quickly and easily access Google files associated with each item and you can turn a recurring event into a child of the current year's event so you can look back on previous years' documentation. It allows for team collaboration along with all of the other features mentioned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see a little more flexibility in the automation process. I know this type of stuff comes with time though. An automation that will trigger an event after a given period of time using a date entered in a column (that can be locked and unlocked by a designated board moderator) would be so helpful. Once certain task are completed it may be necessary for quarterly review. You could enter the completion date and then a review would be triggered every 13 weeks for that item. I don't know if its available or not but I'm about to dig into the possibility of creating groups within team members of a board. We have certain teams within the group on one of our boards and it would be helpful if we could message a team instead of each individual person. If it's there, great. If not, it might be helpful to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform allows our team to seemlesly create and customize workflows, making it EXTREMELY easy to organize and track our daily, weekly and monthly tasks. The instructions on automating those workflows are so easy to follow, that someone who has never utilized Monday can easily begin automating workflows, I'd say within an hour of reviewing the instructional videos (and that's speakign from experience). To add to this is the fact that we were able to integrate so many other apps we use daily and streamline our daily processes, cutting down on missed cases within Salesforce, as well as being notified in real time when we receive cases, cutting down on our time to first contact and time to solve since integrating. On the one occassion I needed to reach out to customer support about an issue I encountered with integrating Slack, my issue was solved within an hour and unlike other project management tools, it wasn't hard or diffcult to reach out to support. We frequently use Monday to track our daily activities and tasks, progress on team and individual projects, and the set reminders are SO EXTREMELY HELPFUL ! I'm quite forgetful, so I utilize the scheduled messaging feature quite often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If I just had to find something that I dislike about usong Monday, it would be that it is a cloud-based platform, so you need an internet connection to access all it's features. I travel a lot and work from my laptop during my journey. When internet access isn't available, I find myself at a stand still until I can get back to a stable connection.
