Innovative. Collaborative. Reliable. It's everything we needed in a project management software and we're continuing to learn more of what Monday.com offers. It's a HUGE asset to the growth of our company.
Updated 1/2025: still completely agree, I also like the yearly Monday conferences updating customers on the newopportunitie with Monday Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only negative (which really plays into the benefit) is that there is SO much that Monday.com can do that it feels almost overwhelming to get started. The tutorial videos could certainly offer more in the way of coaching on all their capabilities.

Monday.com is basically what keeps our company running smoothly through different departments, levels and people within our organization. Reminders and updates are given on a daily basis and keep things rolling so we can continue to operate, give follow ups or conclude jobs and projects. Honestly, we are a completely remote company and the communication is seamless most of the time thanks to this platform. And it's super easy to start using with any company, whether it's remote or office based. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the features are blocked based on the plan that you have, so you might want to keep that into consideration and start experimenting with everything that Monday.com offers to find the right plan for your team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monday is excel on steroids. There is so much customization available to suite your business needs. It has helped organize our business and allowed us to be more efficient in meetings. The mobile app lets me check information on the go. At a meeting and forgot a customers name, Not a problem. Customer wants to know where they are on the schedule, you can check right in front of them. The data tracking abilities are also excellent. If you are a data junkie or want to work toward improvements, the dashboards are helpful and easy to use. I have reached out to customer support a few times and they have been respnosive. I was able to be directed to boards with answers to my questions. Our office uses Monday every day and it has honestly helped a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monday is sometimes struggles to integrate certain platforms. Emails seems to be tricky. Sometimes automations will work when set up to send emails and other times they will not. Only one of the emails in our office seems to be connected correctly to allow for automation notifications. Sometimes implementing formulas can get difficult. There is an AI to help with this but sometimes the formulas we have tired to use are not supported or do not function the way we want. From research into the formulas, it seems most online support is provided by individuals and not actual Monday employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I love best (and it's silly) is the color coding to match my client's colors. But seriously, it is the flexibility with how I organize and track things and the fact that it looks nothing like a typical (and inefficient) spreadsheet that makes Monday.com a life saver for my job. It's easy to use, easy to learn to ways of organizing content and responsibilities. It's so flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Monday.com does not sync with Google Sheets which is what my client uses. It requires a 3rd party license and fee and I'm not going to pay for that. So while I use Monday for my internal work, I have to transfer a large amount of data to my client's spreadsheet and it's not awesome for time management or efficiency. When implementing monday, we had the challenge of customizing the needs of each area, and this was very well satisfied. The resources allowed us to have workspaces that addressed the particularities of each team, integrating actions that would be of common use. It is also possible to rely on automations and notifications that facilitate our work, all thoughtfully designed (and implemented) with the help of the consulting team. Often, some work areas or dashboards take a long time to load. I understand that they gather data from various other boards, but I still believe that this loading time could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Monday.com for three years. I like that the platform is easy to use and customizable. For example, when you want to add something to a board, you can easily add columns with the new information; there's no need to change the main board structure.
- The feature where you can duplicate boards is handy for us. We handle information from different industry sectors and sometimes we need to keep that information separate but still record it with the same structure as the original board. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The board limits. I know the limit increases with a higher tear plan, but still very frustrating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No matter what you want to do or how you want to do it in terms of project mangagement, Monday.com can do it. If you just want a simple done/not done setup, you can do that, if you need to collaborate on a project, you can do that, if you need automations and interlinkings and files and documents, you can do that. I use it every day for a variety of reasons, and there's always a way to do what needs to be done and simply stay organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Docs are very helpful, but some of the functionality around them could be improved. The main two issues I've had with docs are: Formatting of text inside docs can get messed up easily and hard to fic when pasting content. And secondly, if a doc is in an item and the item is moved or deleted, the doc is not stored in a trash section where it could be recovered in case that was done in error. It's so versatile. Everybody in our team has it open constantly on their 2nd screen. We use it for account forms, design boards, strategy planning and many other things. The automation are outstanding and it allows our entire team to be up to date on all the important things required in our business at all times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Integration into Klaviyo and shopify would be helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Monday's for everything from project planning to task management. The dashboards give us great ways to analyze data on project performance in an easy and efficient way. It has integrations with many of the other programs we use such as Box. We have been using for over a year and it is now our main hub for managing project tasks and communication. Nothing! We even had an issue with a integreation with another program last year and their support team was able to rewrite an interface to better support our need. They are able to adapt the program to almost any need you may have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The look of Monday is very pleasing and easy on the eyes. I am such a fan of the different column functions; being able to type text, select from a preset list of options and changing the status of projects. There are so many different add-ons that can used for your different boards that are helpful when gathering certain data or integrating certain things. I use Monday every single day at work and I can't believe that I use to rely on several different excel sheets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel like there is a slight learning curve to using Monday. I found it to be quick confusing at first, but the more I use it and the more videos I watch about different functions; the easier it gets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
