What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

Previous to the pandemic I had a team including a lead designer and social media marketer. At that time we utilized the software for workflow management and collaboration. Since the pandemic, the team was eliminated leaving me as a department of one. It is imperative that I keep every duty logged into the software app in order to stay on task and not miss any request from approximately eight departments that rely on me. What do you like best about monday Work Management?

monday.com automations and integrations are extremely useful and is probably the features we use most. Implementing and integrating it business wide was a breeze. The system takes a little getting used to, but once everyone is onboard, they can't work without it and use it daily. We've rarely needed to use customer support, but on the odd occasions we were basically helped instantly, and our issue resolved within an hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about monday Work Management?

monday.com is extremely bandwidth intensive, especially when updating statuses and using a lot of different colors. Other than that, there's not much to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In our logistics company, we needed a solution to streamline our daily vehicle scheduling. monday.com has given us this solution and so much more. What do you like best about monday Work Management?

Monday.com provides visual dashboards that provide a clear overview of tasks, deadlines, and progress, ensuring everyone stays aligned. I can easily check on progress on a project without having to wait for an update from the Project Manager. I can quickly view our accounts payable, pull up invoices and problem solve with our customers, again without having to wait for input from acccounting. What do you dislike about monday Work Management?

I do not have any real dislikes about Monday.com. Perhaps the only downside is there is a bit of a learning curve to set up project workflows. It is not 100% intuitive but to be fair the learning curve on other platforms is equal or a higher bar. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are a global company working across many time frames, Monday.com helps us communicate about projects, workflows and our accounts receivable system. What do you like best about monday Work Management?

I’ve been using Monday Work Management for a couple of years now. Its helpful in keeping things organized across multiple projects and tasks. Setting up automations is easy and it keeps various team members informed on the status and progress on the project. Automations like sending notifications such as email or a slack text when a status changes keeps the team in the loop. The dashboards make it easy to check how projects are moving along, and the forms are great for collecting info from clients/team. As a developer on the team, I have heavily worked around their API's and the monday-sdk is really helpful in making the Monday integration within our custom systems. What do you dislike about monday Work Management?

The only thing I don't like about Monday Work Management is the pricing model. I wish we were able to buy increased automation limits rather than upping the plan which does cost a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps me in managing projects and workflows more efficiently. It saves time for me as I can check the progress on multiple projects on one platform rather than asking each team member individually about the progress. Also, it helps automate repetitive tasks like notifying team members upon status or project requirement changes, which reduces manual follow-ups. It also helps me proactively monitor the projects. Dashboarding comes in handy whenever I am working on client presentations, as those nice dashboards make more sense than the lengthy data tables. As a developer, the monday-sdk allows me to build custom integrations and API workflows tailored to our team’s specific needs for internal reporting and dashboarding purposes. What do you like best about monday Work Management?

A great way to track items for payroll. We use it to track our to do's for payroll and are able to give access to others so they can add items to our boards for each pay period and can attach any documents we need as back up for the request. Love that we can lock certain fields for only select people to edit. I am able to have my own boards for my own tasks and can track where I am in my goals. Very user friendly. Wish it was easier to remove empty/unused boards that were created by employee's who have left the company, just hard to get someone to remove them for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is monday Work Management solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to have different boards fr each pay period and we can grant access to those in other departments that may need to add things for each payroll. With working from home we don't ahve a great way to keep documnetation for back up on what we did for each payroll, Monday makes this easy as we can attach documents to the task, such as emails, spreadsheet, PDF's of letters and such. I also use it to track changes we make in our payroll syste that may effect employees taxes each qtr so we have documentation of what we have done and why and how we may need to fix it. We have lots of employees who move around and that is not easy to track when they move states and we have to track taxes for them. Monday makes that much easier. What do you like best about monday Work Management?

One of my favorite parts of monday is the ability to customize the boards to suit my project. Whether I need to simply keep track of some numbers or track an ongoing project, I can change titles, colors, types, and pretty much anything else I can think of from the main view. There are also a ton of options for customizable views depending on how you want to track something or present it if needed. I'm also a huge fan of the "Forms" option, as it gives me the ability to gather info from other staff in my company without granting them access to the board or creating additional logins for limited needs. The automation is another huge plus. I can keep people in the loop about projects or remind myself about deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about monday Work Management?

The only downside I can think of is sometimes the forms viewer and tables have glitches like being out of order or attaching uploads from someone else's form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about monday Work Management?

Intuitive! I researched features, signed up, and had a team member create the boards we needed. Within a few days, Monday.com was easily integrated into our workflow and we have a much easier time keeping track of projects, tasks and deadlines!

We have now been using Monday.com for almost three years, with different team member constellations, and it keeps being a super useful tool that we turn to several times a week. We particularly enjoy it during our weekly team meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is a learning curve as with everything, but nothing beyond what would be expected.

What do you like best about monday Work Management?

I love the way that work management can be used for a number of features inc project management, Assist management, Employee resource management. I was introuduce to the product as part of my companys migration from one business to another. At the time I didnt like Monday.com due to lack of understanding and training in a very stressfull situation. Last year my boss tasked me with becoming the Monday.com expert for our business. This was the start of my transformation to a Monday.com lover. I am so happy with the ease of use in setting up a number of different boards across muiltiple departments. What do you dislike about monday Work Management?

What do you like best about monday Work Management?

At Ampere, our mission is to bring STEAM education to rural, remote, and Indigenous communities across Canada. With limited resources but ambitious goals, we needed a project management tool that could help us work as efficiently as a for-profit business while staying focused on our mission to make a meaningful impact.

Monday's Project Management tool has become the backbone of how we run our operations, from program delivery to donor management to tracking our social impact. Specifically for our team that has grown rapidily post-pandemic, it’s been a game-changer in aligning our team, streamlining processes, and ensuring we have the shared view of work from any location, which was a pain point when everyone all of a sudden worked remotely. Now we have that shared view and common processes, that make it easy to know the status of everything in play!

One of the biggest boosts for us has been the WorkForms feature. With multiple teams working across different areas—programs, fundraising, operations, —tracking requests did not exist, responsibilities were unclear on task assignments. So now we all use WorkForms for all new incoming work requests or projects, and everything is automated, tracked, and connected, so there’s no more missed requests.

Implementation and intergation has been a relatively low lift, with a semi formal change management approach and ongoing intenal coaching on process development and sharing of tips & tricks on the platform.

What do you dislike about monday Work Management?

The learning curve for customization and setting up workflows takes time, but it's worth it. You’ll need to invest some effort upfront to learn and test a few automations before you can be confident that you are not missing updates/changes/dates/or tasks.

Some of the most powerful tools (like detailed user permisions and deeper analytics) are locked behind higher-priced plans which not for profits can get but they pay full price (no discount), so being creative and flexible has led to the best results in board designs.

If your team frequently works in remote areas with spotty connectivity, you might need to use offline mode, and most updates will get posted when back online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
