Lucid has become our go-to tool for brainstorming, planning, and organizing ideas. The intuitive interface makes it super easy to create flowcharts, mind maps, and other visuals. I love how it lets multiple team members collaborate in real-time—it's like having a virtual whiteboard that everyone can access from anywhere. The templates are a great starting point, saving us time, and the integrations with other tools like Slack and Google Drive make everything seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing major, but having more out-of-the-box templates would make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lucid is the best application for creating AWS networking/server related diagrams. I find it easy to find all the different AWS icons is a breeze. I frequently use it to create network flow diagrams and using templates makes things so much easier. We've implemented it throughout the company and we have a lot of employees utilizing it. It easily integrates with other applications like Adobe and it easily exports to MS Visio in case there are users that want to view/update it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Learning how to use Lucid took a little while as it's different than Visio. Customizing objects in Lucid was a little tricky but once I got acclimated to the process it was much easier. Other than that I think Lucid is a great product and will continue to use it until something better comes along. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This program makes it so easy to create process flow charts, especially for BA and Product Owner roles. They have defined objects which represent certain actions/processes and they remain uniform when using the templates.Even root-cause analysis is easily done with this software. I can’t believe I didn’t know about it sooner! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Perhaps the navigation and menu structure. It seems a bit cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a very interactive platform with several templates, helps making the complex diagrams remarkable easily. It's easy to use and the best part is it's cloud based and anyone can start using immediately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't came across to any issues so far, it's just very large diagrams can sometimes cause slowness issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some points that I find as a hinderence when I am using Lucid Chart for personal use -
1. Only 3 diagrams are allowed (which is fine, I can work with it, most tools provide limit of 3 diagrams)
2. Bigger challenge is that only 60 shapes are allowed in one diagram. This is the most important thing that keeps me from using lucid chart for personal use out of office Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really liked the platform because it was very easy to find templates and adapt them to my needs. There are many types available, making it easier to clearly visualize the process. I also had the opportunity to use AI to create process diagrams, which was helpful for inspiration and completing my diagram.
Additionally, I used the platform for collaboration, and it felt very smooth—allowing real-time teamwork with others seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One area for improvement is the AI-generated diagrams. If instructions aren't very specific, it can sometimes create overly complex, repetitive, or hard-to-follow diagrams. Because of this, I used AI more for inspiration and to complement the diagram I had already started rather than as a starting point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

it can make job easy enough and saves more time to create minds maps flow charts Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The free plan is quite restrictive, allowing only a limited number of editable documents and basic features.
The pricing for premium features can be expensive for individual users or small teams.
Some advanced features (like integrations with other tools, advanced templates, and real-time collaboration enhancements) are locked behind higher-tier plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
