"Seamless Collaboration, Minor Lag Issues"
What do you like best about Miro?

I like that Miro provides a space where we can collaborate seamlessly and share all kinds of media all in one space. It's much better than a written shared document, where the information is only linear. The ability to share images, videos, clips, documents, text excerpts, and websites all in one place allows us to get more work done in less time, which is essential for our fully remote team. I appreciate how Miro's 3-dimensional and visual setup is perfect for video storyboarding, unlike Google Docs, which didn't suit our needs as it's just linear. What do you dislike about Miro?

Sometimes the application gets laggy when the board gets too big. Usually it is at around 5000 items when the boards stop being useful, and we have to move our ideas to a new board. Then, there is the lack of sticker emojis; I would like to see more of them or have the option to create my own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro’s Collaboration Features Are Essential for Workshops and Teamwork"
What do you like best about Miro?

As a graduating UX designer, Miro’s collaboration features make it almost unthinkable for me to work without it. It’s become an essential part of how I collaborate with peers.

I regularly do workshops at the company I'm doing an internship at. Having people join in and placing sticky notes with their thoughts really helps me create a low barrier for people to work with me.

As a student, Miro is currently still free for me. So pricing wise I have nothing to add. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The AI template builder didn't really work for me, the output wasnt usable.

Performance on my macbook with 8gb ram also lacks sometimes, but with other tools like Figma and Teams taking up a whole load of RAM, thats probably not something to fix on you guys's end Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Makes Team Retros More Engaging, Visual, and Effective"
What do you like best about Miro?

I’ve been using Miro with my teams for years, and I genuinely love it. It’s one of those tools that makes work feel easier and a bit more fun. There’s a lot you can do with it, and it stays flexible depending on what your team needs.

Where it really stands out for me is team building and retros. Miro retros are my favorite, they feel more engaging and more visual, and people actually participate instead of just going through the motions. You can start with templates and use them as inspiration, or build your own from scratch.

Over the years, I’ve seen really great results from using it: better conversations, more alignment, and a stronger team connection overall. At this point, it’s a staple in how I work with teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

I haven’t found anything I don’t like about it. It serves my purpose perfectly for sharing with teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Whiteboard Makes Online Salesforce Training Clear, Visual, and Effortless"
What do you like best about Miro?

I like how easy it is to collaborate with teams in real time using boards, sticky notes, diagrams, and templates. The infinite canvas is very useful for brainstorming, planning workflows, and organizing ideas visually. Many users also praise its intuitive interface and collaboration features.

The performance is amazing. It automatically saves my work (including what I did yesterday or in previous sessions), so I can resume my training right where I left off.

Fun fact: I got Miro Premium from G2, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Large boards can sometimes become cluttered and harder to navigate. Some advanced features are locked behind paid plans, and performance may slow on very heavy boards according to user feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to Use, Feature-Rich, and Reliable—with Great AI, MCP, and Documentation"
What do you like best about Miro?

Easy to use, consistently updated with new features, and backed by a great UX. With the new MCP integration, it’s straightforward to build agents and improve my work performance even further.

With the AI features, its easy to make the work done and get proper insights, specially with the Miro Flows and Sidekicks.

We have proper documentation not only for the product but also for the AI and MCP features as well which makes the product useful and very reliable for quick onboarding.

Abou the performance it's very stable with a few outages, which is very good for a SaaS product.

The pricing model could be better since today I think it's too expensive, the free version is also too limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The pricing model could be better, especially around the AI features. I subscribed to the first tier because I wanted to use more Flows, but then I realized that “unlimited” Flows are only available on the Business tier, which is far above my budget for a single user.

There weren’t clear specifications about this, and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable after subscribing at a higher price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Makes Collaboration Visual, Fast, and Engaging"
What do you like best about Miro?

What stands out most about Miro is how it turns collaboration into something visual, fast, and actually engaging—not just another static tool.

Real-time collaboration that feels natural – multiple people can brainstorm, map workflows, and build ideas together without friction

Visual thinking at scale – great for mapping processes, pipelines, and systems (which is huge for operations and recruiting workflows)

Flexibility – whether it’s brainstorming, project planning, or tracking pipelines, it adapts instead of forcing a rigid structure

Templates that accelerate work – you can go from idea to structured output quickly without starting from scratch

Cross-functional alignment – it makes it easier to get stakeholders on the same page visually, which reduces back-and-forth and misalignment

Net impact: it speeds up thinking, decision-making, and execution—especially in fast-moving environments where clarity and alignment matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

What I like least about Miro is where it can slow things down instead of speeding them up:

Can get messy fast – without strong structure, boards turn into clutter and become hard to navigate

Performance issues on large boards – lag and loading delays when too many elements are added

Over-flexibility – no guardrails means inconsistent workflows across teams

Harder to track execution – great for ideation, but not ideal for managing tasks or accountability end-to-end

Learning curve for new users – not always intuitive for people unfamiliar with visual tools

Net impact: it’s powerful for brainstorming, but without discipline and structure, it can reduce clarity instead of improving it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro changed the way our team collaborates — and we're never going back"
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro transforms remote collaboration into a genuinely engaging experience. The infinite canvas gives teams unlimited space to brainstorm, plan, and visualize ideas without constraints. The template library is outstanding — from user story mapping and sprint planning to mind maps and retrospectives, there's a ready-to-use template for virtually every team workflow. Real-time collaboration is seamless, with multiple users working simultaneously with no lag. The sticky notes, voting, and timer features make facilitated workshops and design thinking sessions feel as natural as being in the same room. Integration with the most popular project management, communication, and design tools makes it a true hub for cross-functional teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

The free tier is quite limited, restricting users to only 3 editable boards, which pushes teams to paid plans quickly. Performance can degrade noticeably on very large or complex boards with many elements. The mobile experience, while functional, doesn't match the desktop version in terms of usability. Also, for new users the infinite canvas can feel disorienting at first — navigation and zooming take some getting used to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Accessible on Any Device with Flexible, Ready-to-Use Boards"
What do you like best about Miro?

I think the biggest advantage I see with Miro is that anybody can be on it. For example, I’ve got kids working off Chrome Books, phones, and some old computer they’re using at home and none of them have ever called me and said “I don’t have access.” The variety of ways to arrange the boards has been helpful as well; regardless of whether we need a timeline or a discussion area, most times there’s going to be something that will fit without me having to put it together myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

Too many choices. I know that seems counterintuitive, but when you first open up the app and want to do something simple, you’ll end up spending way too much time deciding which layout/template/format to choose from. Petty complaint but the boards can become messy very quickly if your students have any creativity at all, and there is little-to-no means of controlling the mess. "Miro Makes It Easy to Organize Ideas and Bring Them to Life Visually"
What do you like best about Miro?

What I like best about Miro is how it helps me organize my ideas and turn them into something visual. It makes it easier to take thoughts that are just in my head and put them into a space where I can actually see them, connect them, and develop them further Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

What I dislike about Miro is that it can feel a bit overwhelming sometimes. It’s easy to lose track of things if everything isn’t well organized, and navigating large boards can be confusing. Also, some features can feel a bit complex at first, which makes it harder to use smootly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Miro Turns Collaboration into Clear, Fast Decisions"
What do you like best about Miro?

It allows teams to work together seamlessly, whether brainstorming, mapping processes, or aligning on strategy. The infinite canvas, intuitive drag-and-drop interface, and rich set of templates significantly speed up workshops and decision-making.

For me, the biggest value is how Miro connects people and ideas in one place—making discussions more structured, transparent, and productive, even across large or distributed teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

When working with large teams or long-term projects, navigation and structure can become difficult to maintain, which sometimes slows down productivity instead of supporting it.

Additionally, performance can occasionally lag on very large boards, especially when many users collaborate at the same time. Integration with other tools is useful, but it could be more seamless and better embedded into daily workflows.

Overall, these are not critical issues, but addressing them would significantly improve the experience for more advanced and large-scale use cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How are teams using Miro to enhance collaboration and brainstorming in a virtual environment?

MW

Last activity over 4 years ago

I would love to be able to use a consultant license within different organisations without the need für organisations to pay a seat for me, additionally. This does not seem to work, at the moment. Licensing needs to be clarified, and there is a need for something like a »freelancers license« that can dock on onto different teams.
