Lucidchart is one of those tools that just makes life easier. Whether you’re sketching out a workflow, mapping a network, or brainstorming ideas, it’s got a super intuitive drag-and-drop interface that feels effortless. The real-time collaboration is a game-changer—no more emailing versions back and forth. Plus, it plays nicely with Google Drive, Microsoft 365, and Slack, so everything stays connected. The templates are a huge time-saver, and the automation features make complex diagrams a breeze. If you need a flexible, user-friendly diagramming tool, Lucidchart is definitely worth a look. While integrations are strong, deeper customization options—like more automation or AI-powered suggestions—could make it even more powerful. Overall, it’s a great tool, but a little fine-tuning in these areas would make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to easy draw arrows to the shapes i needed to, the ability to change arrow directions with ease. Love that it is packed full of useful features whilst maintaining simplicity and being super user friendly, the customer support staff was very fast and helpful with any issues i had, making it something i would use frequently, was very easy to implement my project to my folders with the use of downloading to PDF, making it very easy to intergrate. From my personal experiance, i did not find anything i did not like about Lucid, it met all the needs i needed for the project i was creating, had no issues creating my project and had all the features i needed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is simple to use. It helps me plan and effectively communicate my ideas to my colleagues. Collaboration in real-time facilitates effective and smooth interaction. In addition, the offered templates and tools accelerate the creation process and save an important amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For those new to the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, it can at times be a little difficult. It takes time to get competent with all of its functions. Individuals who are familiar with such tools could find some advanced features puzzling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Good overall tool especially for technology teams due to strength of LucidCharts diagramming capability, and the ability for it to link to other products such as Jira, etc. LucidSpark does imitate the workings of Miro, which means it's easy enough to pick it up. While LucidCharts is fit for purpose and due to its "rigidity" required for technology teams, LucidSpark does not have the easy feel and flexibility of Miro for collaborative whiteboarding. Also more importantly, LucidSpark doesn't do a good job importing Miro boards with parts of board missing, lines crooked, artefacts not properly imported. For large Miro boards, it probably manages to import only about 70% of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best i like in Lucid chart is accessible over internet and ease of use, could easily find and create network diagrams, share it with multiple persons in organization and outside of the organization as well, can map it with other Organization toll like it Glue you can access it easily, it has broad range of stencils and has very much better visualization, there is lots of type of diagram and charts with category so you dont have to purchase multiple softwares for same work for diffrent department, all department can collaborate and work on single project without having access issue. i use it everyday as my role includes it, becasue of easy to access can support customer without taking time, and having great suggation so you can impliment better chart and diagram, so as per ease of Implementation it is far better then microsoft. I am using it from last 2 years and i did not unlike any of its features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The application looks informal in the first go. I was an user of Visio in the earlier organization and I joined my new organization a month back where Lucidchart and Lucidspark is used for visual collaboration. At the first glimpse, the UI look is so informal and yet it has all the features that Visio offered.
I was able to import visio file and edit it right away without any issues. I did not require any training and started using Lucidchart right away. I was able to share the flowchart with my team and create some tasks for them. The team started working on assigned tasks on the same flowchart diagram seamlessly without any issues.
Additionally commenting is a great feature that the team used so that the reviewer can take a look and respond to it. Our organization also uses slack for communication which I was able to integrate with Lucidchart and Lucidspark, thus helping me enhance productivity.
I use it for a couple of days every month while writing business requirement documents to depict the as is process flows and to be process flows of the customer, thus giving them a visual representation our understanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being a resident in India, the pricing is little higher and could be sensitive to buy for long term. However, if someone is looking for value, it is a great buy compared to microsoft visio. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the idea of infinite board and availability of most common shapes and icons to draw the diagrams very quickly. It is very help for any types of diagrams, but I like it the most for end-to-end data product documentation, where all objects involved can be put togerher with all necessary hyperlinks attached in the right places. I even use project diagram day-to-day to speed up access to all different objects involved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I used it just for a month, so I covered only small fraction of available tools within Lucid charts. One thing I wish was there is the ability to add clickable hyperlink table name in ERD (for example, AWS S3 source for a given table). The work around is to use "Conver to embedded link" to get an Embedded Link Block in place, but this does not look nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an analytics engineer at my organisation, I often deal with complex database schemas, brainstorming workflows, and designing data pipelines. Lucid has an intuitive interface and it is easy to translate abstract ideas into clear visuals. I specifically like the drag-and-drop functionality and how seamlessly it integrates with tools like Google Drive and Slack. The collaboration features are great too - specially the fact that you can see your teammate's cursor in realtime is great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’ve noticed that the performance can slow down when working on larger, more complex diagrams. The tool is great otherwise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lucid is an effective tool for many business needs, especially sales and marketing type solutions. It offers many common tools over a a variety of brainstorming and process mapping solutions. It is easy to use and easy for a beginner to get started using right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to see Lucid open this concept up for other types of root cause investigation tools such as a 5W2H diagram , affinity diagrams, etc. There is not much in the line of root cause that I have discovered. I would also like to see more in the line of Lean Six Sigma tools... but maybe these will be added in the next version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

First of all, one of the best things when using Lucid is knowing that AI is there to help you create charts by only providing general ideas about what you want. Also, Lucid provides really intuitive tools that make charting design a better experience overall. Finally, I would also mention that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite provides a lot of tools that help implement various inputs like images and formulas with a lot of ease. Maybe the fact that the AI agent is still not complete and still provides some really simple charts that sometimes do not meet the desired complexity. For example, I am a student that needs to rapidly create charts about programs and creating them as fast as I wanted wasn't possible - I still needed to provide certain input to the chart for it to be as I wanted it. It is important to mention that I don't use the application that much, so maybe some of my insights might be from ignorance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
