Coming from a past in Client success/management, I understand what I expect in an AM, but Sima Ganaba is the golden child for best-in-class account management.
Not only does Listrak aim to resolve business challenges, update processes, support automation and make suggestions on how best to implement new strategies across email, sms and recommendations, but they support us within our CRM efforts, monthly reporting and strategies to inform business decisions.
I can't speak highly enough about Sima regarding her efforts. Not only is she working with us from across the world (we are AU based - never has she let timezones impact her ability to get back to us promptly), she is never shy to admit when she needs to rally troops internally to understand the problem and implement a solution. Her communication is top tier, and her ability to follow up, action requests, and outstanding items is incredible and makes my day-to-day considerably easier. We've had some ongoing issues when it comes to data feeds, and the way our business / Listrak calculate specific fields. We understand where the limitations lie on our side, and where Listrak could improve but we are always being considered within the product roadmap, on any improvements that would directly impact our ability to do things better.
It's wonderful the depth of automation available within Conversations, but these would be hard to get a handle on if being managed internally. Additionally, I would love better A/B testing capability when it comes to content in emails (send a whole email to A or B, without needing to allocate this within an audience, and run multiple tests at a time. I love that we have a dedicated Account Manager who supports our account. She's a rockstar who pushes through our requests and tracks any support tickets or tickets placed with GXP. In addition, GXP makes automated campaigns easy to implement and maintain. Listrak Support is also quick to get back to me when I need help with anything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that the platform isn't built well for self-service. With other platforms, like Hubspot, I could set up automated campaigns in seconds, but in Listrak, I need the Account Manager or support to help me get them set up. It's also much easier/faster to set up integrations in other platforms but in Listrak, it has taken over 6 months to get two data fields into the system.
There are also funky things in the platform like Conversations vs. Journey Builder - Journey Builder looks like it would be easier to use than Conversations but I keep hearing that we shouldn't move over to it yet. My question is why is it live in the system if employees don't want to use it yet?
I also think the navigation of the platform is confusing - there are way too many options and pages could easily be consolidated.
It's also strange that we can't build a custom dashboard to view reports - I get my reports weekly from our Account Manager and it's in a giant spreadsheet with a ton of tabs. It's helpful data but I'd like to view the reports/graphs that are important to me at any time - not once a week when it's emailed to me.
When it comes to the lists, it bothers me that the data on lists are separate and it takes extra steps to get it all in sync. If I collect a customer's first name or their pet's names for example, I want that information tied to their email address available on all lists.
If I want to send a dedicated email to a subset of customers pulled from a different source, instead of creating a list for those contacts, it's easier to create a new profile field to track them, which is strange and it's why we have a bunch of old profile fields that need to be cleaned up. We've been a partner with Listrak for nearly seven years. In that time, we've had incredible stability with our account management group. We've only had three reps over those seven years; each has been excellent. They are platform experts and help not only with tactical implementations but also with strategic direction. Listrak's platform, at times, isn't particularly intuitive. At times we depend on their team to help us navigate and execute within the Dashboard. Reporting is also lacking. Triggered email performance is a manual report pulled weekly by Listrak and emailed to us. I would love to see further investment into their dashboard to make it easier for the end user. The platform is limited in terms of design, the drag and drop tool lacks of certain design and edit capabilities that are available on a lot of newer web softwares. Sometimes, the software can be glitchy as well and it can be difficult to understand the logic behind certain behaviors. SMS program does not allow dynamic coupons with Shopify, and it opens the door to discount abuse. Listrak does not integrate fully with Shopify, and we cant target audiences created in Shopify, or to create automation flow triggered by Shopify actions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As part of the Listrak integration, the team assigned to your account literally walks you through every step in the development and integration process. They have experts on staff that can work through every unique scenario your programs bring to the table. I immediately saw a lift in revenue associated with our initial welcome program through Listrak, and then realized even more through SMS. This was the first time we have ever used SMS in our marketing and despite starting from scratch on a contact list, our revenue more than paid for the entire program right out of the gate. I really haven't had any negative experiences with Listrak so far. The only dislike I have personally is with the web developments on my side of the project. Listrak is an easy-to-use, informative, and effective email platform, but more importantly the support from the Account Managers and support team is unparalleled. Everyone I have worked with at Listrak is truly dedicated to their client's success, and they go above and beyond to help in any way they can. The chat and support line always helps with smaller tasks quickly, and everyone is always incredibly friendly and positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside about Listrak is some small little things within the platform. For example, we use Google Analytics as our data source and sometimes it is difficult to match reporting, however our Account Managers do a wonderful job at filling in any gaps and finding solutions. The fantastic partnership, added value, perspective, collaboration, respect, and overall customer service! Working with Megan M. has been such a top-level experience. She is a great account owner who always goes above and beyond what we ask; she gained trust and loyalty within our company, and I can also imagine within others. Megan has also provided value added by utilizing her project management team - specifically Erick and Jordan, who have put forth a tremendous effort to connect and work with our internal teams with launches. I have used Listrak at two companies totaling over 4+ years with the program. Our account rep has been absolutely amazing, and every Listrak member I have worked with has been very knowledgeable about the tool. The changes that have been made to the platform have made everyday use evermore user-friendly and they are constantly working on new initiatives to bring modern technology to us. It's easy to set up emails and SMS for marketing directly to your customers. Their GXP product automates some of the tasks! Building out emails is a simple and intuitive drag & drop process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Setting up "audiences" and list filtering is not immediately intuitive but isn't altogether a terrible experience. Luckily our account manager is very responsive to inquiries and their tech support is great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate the partnership between my team and my reps. I find them to be extremely responsive and will do anything to help me resolve a problem or think of new ideas. I think a lot of the reporting aspects within Listrak are difficult to navigate and not user friendly. Often when I'm trying to pull a monthly overview of sends, opens and clicks across all of my campaigns (which are on different lists), it takes me way longer to pull because of all the toggling I have to do across each list. I also wish there was more personalized functionality available for HTML emails. Any type of personalized options require emails to be created and sent from composer, which we do not want to use.
