Ease of use and ease of implementation. The implementation time commitment was hours not weeks. We initially implemented all modules except Grow, Comp, and Engage and manged to configure and test all modules in less than two weeks. The product team is very receptive to feedback and also able to help come up with creative workarounds for functional gaps. The customer support is great and very responsive. At this point I don't know that I have any negative points to raise except the lack of a full integration with UKG UltiPro. The out of the box integration does not pull all the fields necessary so we have to revert to a SFP file that is scheduled to run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lattice is an incredibly helpful tool for managing my performance and tracking my career growth. I use it weekly to plan my 1:1s with my manager, and it helps me gather and provide feedback quarterly, both from my manager and colleagues. The integration with Slack and the reminders before each 1:1 make my day to day worklife easier, allowing me to organize and prioritize the agenda for our discussions ahead of time. Additionally, submitting EPNS through Lattice is quick and straightforward, streamlining the process effortlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but once you become familiar with it, navigating the platform becomes much easier. Aside from that, I haven't encountered any major issues with Lattice so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the partnership I have with the customer teams and our account team. I consider them an extended version of my own internal team and I believe they have my org's best interest in mind, 100% of the time. I also love that the product is always improving and adding more features. I really feel like they are growing with us and makes it easy for me to continue to keep lattice as a vendor for our employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there are challenges with the ability to customize the tool to work best for us and that required a manual work around or for my team to adjust expectations of how we can use the tool. With that said, no technology is completely perfect and it is only as good as how you use it :). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lattice is set up with features to make managers jobs easier. Our users favorite feature is the 1-1 tool. Managers can more easily be better managers by leveraging lattice features like 1-1s, development plans, goals, performance reviews, feedback, etc. We have found lattice to have great customer service when we have questions. They have been implementing more AI features which seem useful. I appreciate Lattice is continuously improving and rolling out features based on customer feedback. With the Engagement Survey we have found the ability to download data more limiting. The types of questions you can put in surveys is limited some too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like that it starts a digital conversation in the Update section, and that it tracks all 1:1s in one place, and can be reviewed anytime as refreshers and deliverable tracking. We are working on goals currently, and this is going to simplify our process by about 1000%. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The on downside to Lattice is the confidentiality issue. It emails updates and 1:1 to managers with all the information in the body of the email, instead of sending an email to let them know information is in their portal. This causes challenges as admins have access to Executive Staff's emails, and they read, comment, and gossip about what employees write in good faith to their supervisors. So as HR, I can not be honest or share with my CFO as other people read and share private personal or confidential information. So that hobbles me from using the system correctly.
The solution we were provided was to use a dummy Slack email that goes nowhere. The problem with this is the supervisors will never be notified that there is information for them to review.
One other thing I would like to see is to be able to respond to feedback. That way someone can say "Thank you" or answer a question in feedback. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really appreciate their clear focus on updating The platform. Particularly the AI features. I'm very excited to try out the AI writing assist bias check feature. I like that notes within the system are able to be viewed on the same screen when you're writing reviews. I am the administrator and I'm pretty satisfied with the administrative options and ease of use. I like the data visualization options for reviews and engagement surveys. This area has been significantly improved over the past year.
I appreciate being able to chat with customer service in real time within the platform. They recently added the AI chatbot, and my questions are usually to specific so require a representative response, But the chat bot is pretty quick to connect me to an actual person upon my request. I often find I've adopted the mantra that lattice is user friendly, just not necessarily intuitive..
When writing reviews it's strange that you click an item to write a downward review but it takes you to the self-review screen and then you have to click in the left menu to get to the downward review screen.
I have received a lot of feedback regarding the goal setting features being less than ideal. I wish that the platform integrated with asana so we could pull goals from a sauna on automatically into lattice. Either that or lattice build out the features similar to those offered by asana so that project Management tasks could be performed within the goals section. We are still waiting for the option to have group meetings versus just one-on-one. I hear that's coming soon..
When writing reviews one is not able to view the self-assessment and reviewer assessment side by side within the system. Our previous provider had that feature and many staff reached out to request it. I understand the responses can be grouped by question when the review is downloaded, but that is not very user friendly as makes more sense to be able to view it that way within the system
There is a suggestion box option but not an option to make some missions anonymous. Though there is a q&a feature where submissions can be anonymous. I would prefer the suggestion box have an anonymous option.
Almost forgot because it's something I don't use, but the mobile app is very limited in functionality Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-extremely easy to use
-they offer a ramp-up time during onboarding which gives us as a customer stress-free time to learn all aspects
-At the moment, we just got lattice so I am still figuring quite a bit out -- but already love it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a user, I found goal tracking/ performance evaluation tricky. Maybe it takes time to get used to this? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Lattice is a super helpful tool for managing performance and growth within the company. We use it for performance reviews, 1:1s, and tracking career development through the Career Path. In my opinion, it's an intuitive tool with many features, and they are continuously improving the product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I find the Performance Review setup to be not as flexible as it could be. It's a great tool, and we successfully use it twice per year, but minor things, such as not being able to reorder the competencies, are areas where I think there is room for improvement. You can add on pieces that fit your business culture. Just need reviews? No problem. Want to add surveys? Easy to open up. Want to add pieces of the additional options available or simply add seats? Super easy and straight forward on the pricing. You aren't stuck with a huge package with half the things you don't need. Especially good if you have remote employees or teams that would benefit from a solid tracking tool for 1x1s and structured Feedback processes (ex: project debriefs).
REALLY good support members, in vetting process, implementation, account management, and troubleshooting. Every Lattice person I worked with over the past year has been very helpful, genuine, and supportive in helping me accomplish my goals. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it felt too customizable for our small business and too many choices to walk through. I could see it being extremely valuable especially for a medium-to-large business because you can break up into so many groups and dissect it so many ways. For our small business, this was less of a value add on the customization for us because we actually just needed everyone to be on the same program together. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its so helpful to get off of the 100 different platforms we were using and have everything consolidated to one place. This way we can actually use the data we collect and it makes it easier for everyone in our company to stay on track and keep priorities straight. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its kind of annoying to use that big chart to upload one new employee. Its a bit finnacy and ends up changing other employees even if I dont touch them on the excel sheet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
