**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

1. Form making, Customizations, USer Access Managment, etc. is all very simple.
2. Interface and loading performance is great.
3. Easy to access from any device.
4. Dashboards on the form responses are very intutive and AI powered.
5. Allows easy integration.
6. Customer Support is rarely needed but when required is prompt
7. Employee onboarding was very easy.
8. The AI features of Culture Amp is amazing in terms of content summarization and review.
9. Pricing was good and doable.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

None that i could find so far since the past more than a year.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Performance Management was a cake walk where reading through larger chunks of data became a cake walk.
AI Summary is just amazing even for surveys that require a quick analysis and presentation to management.
It offers API Integration too which we did and was quiet simple.

**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

Culture Amp has been an invaluable tool for running structured performance cycles and engagement surveys across a hybrid, multi-site workforce. The benchmarking data is where it really earns its place - being able to contextualise your engagement scores against comparable tech companies gives the People function something credible and defensible to bring into leadership and board conversations, rather than just raw internal numbers.

The platform is intuitive enough that managers actually use it, which isn't something you can take for granted with HR tooling. The survey and review cycle workflows are well thought through, and the reporting surfaces insights in a way that makes it straightforward to identify themes and prioritise action. For a scaling tech business where the People team needs to move quickly and communicate clearly upward, that combination of ease-of-use and data quality is genuinely hard to find in one product.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

The main limitation we've run into with engagement surveys is that the platform is strong on the what but can leave you without enough of the why. You get clear quantitative signal at a department or team level, but connecting that back to individual context - understanding the specific experiences driving a score - isn't something the tooling makes easy. Better mechanisms to surface qualitative depth alongside the aggregated results, without compromising anonymity, would make the insights significantly more actionable.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Culture Amp brings our core people processes into one place - engagement surveys, performance cycles, and one-to-ones - which matters a lot when you're running a hybrid team across multiple sites. The engagement survey function gives us a structured, repeatable way to take the pulse of the organisation and benchmark what we're seeing against comparable tech businesses, which adds real credibility when we're presenting findings to leadership. The performance process tooling has removed a lot of the administrative friction from review cycles, making it easier to run consistently across the business. And having one-to-ones tracked within the same platform means there's a thread of continuity between day-to-day conversations and the formal review moments, rather than those existing in separate systems. The net result is a People function that can operate with more rigour and less manual overhead, and leadership conversations that are grounded in data rather than instinct.

**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

I think their customer service is probably my favorite. I always find that the team is very open and welcoming, but not too intense. I do think their surveys are great, and it's a very quick and easy system as an administrator as well as an employee filling out any sort of feedback. It was pretty easy to set up too.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

Yeah. I would love to be able to see review scores more than just once, like, compare the same review year over year or to be able to compare a survey when you might even change questions or whatnot. As well as the one on one feature to be updated.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Culture Amp for company-wide engagement surveys and collecting feedback after training, which helps us understand employee engagement and gather valuable feedback efficiently.

Hard to land on one thing but it has to be their people.  The teams they put together are authentic, responsive kind, and really want to help us.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

We already have a new account manager - good news is it is because our original was promoted within.  And our new contact is amazing, but with a company like CA that encourages and promotes, you are going to have tam changes.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Action planning.  This platform has been a game changer for our managers.  They no longer need to take 4-6 months to create an action plan - CA will do it in less than 10 minutes, thus enabling managers to spend more valuable team collaborating with their teams on what steps make sense and refining the plan

What I like most about Culture Amp is how it combines simplicity, a user friendly and intuitive platform with meaningful insights and data. Rather than just collecting employee responses, the system translates data into clear drivers of engagement and highlights where to focus our action. The external benchmarking data and AI coach are two important features for me as a user.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

Overall I am very happy the platform and appreciate the ongoing enhancements that are made. I would like to see features like being able to put comments against demographic questions, being able to redact comments ourselves improved. I also don't think the prepopulated reporting is as effective and efficient as it could be.

**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

The AI features of Culture Amp really impressed me when we conducted our first Engagement Survey. The ability to summarize comments for efficient review really stood out. The support we’ve received before, during, and after the survey has set Culture Amp apart for me—there was always someone available and willing to assist. I’m also finding the 1:1 feature very helpful, and I use it for my weekly 1:1s with my team.

I honestly haven’t had any negative experiences. There was a small learning curve when I first started using the system, but Culture Amp is user-friendly and easy to pick up.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is the first time we’ve introduced something like this in our organization, and we implemented it so we could better see and understand employee experience and satisfaction. We now have a clearer understanding of what our employees want and need from us, and we’re able to create a plan to improve the overall experience.

**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

I use Culture Amp for weekly check-ins with my manager. I appreciate that these check-ins provide me with a platform for feedback, allowing a regular 'temperature check' on various aspects of my work. I like that it offers written feedback at the end of the check-in, providing insights into what is going well and what challenges I face. This regular check-in process helps me and my manager stay aligned.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

I find that in some ways, Culture Amp is not very intuitive. It's a bit hard to know whether you've saved a response or not. It's not very intuitive in terms of knowing what you need to do after your manager and you have caught up. Validating things that have been put in the system so you get an automated check-in for the next time is also unclear. Understanding when you're saving something and when you're not saving something is confusing.

**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

I really like that I can create unlimited surveys, both attributed and unattributed, which makes it incredibly flexible for our needs. The 1:1 tool is fantastic because it keeps all my meetings with the manager recorded in one place, allowing for easy review later. The Skills Coach module has been quite beneficial, as many of our employees use it, and it has particularly helped in training our managers on leadership skills. Creating surveys is very intuitive, so I don't have to spend much time on them, and I can tailor the available surveys to my needs. The initial setup of Culture Amp was very seamless, which made the transition smoother.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

The chat feature. I sometimes need to wait an hour to get a response.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Culture Amp improves our organizational culture, boosts employee engagement and morale, and enhances people management skills. The survey creation is intuitive, saving time, and Skills Coach improves leadership skills. I can easily record and review 1:1 meetings.

I like how intuitive Culture Amp is. The layout is pretty straightforward and simple, without too many bells and whistles, making it easy to navigate. I appreciate its simplicity because it makes providing feedback less tedious.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

I find the tabs not as intuitive. So sometimes when we have our performance feedback cycles, I'm not exactly sure where to go every time. I only visit it maybe a couple times a year. And so I always have to refresh my brain and know how to find my own reviews as well as my peer reviews. On the main navigation, I see feedback, one on ones, goals, performance, development. So I'm not sure personally where I need to go right away to provide feedback, but also to see feedback from my peers. Given that reviews are under performance and surveys are under feedback. And then there's also one on ones tab. So it kind of seems a little bit redundant in my opinion.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Culture Amp offers a structured way to give and receive feedback, which isn't typically done ad hoc. It provides a platform for my peers and me to exchange feedback, structured across the company.

I love that Culture Amp uses psychologically validated questions, which takes the guesswork out of building, timing, running, and interpreting survey results. This is usually a huge burden, and I appreciate that Culture Amp tells us what to do to maximize our impact from our efforts. I also love the anonymity and confidentiality protections it offers, making it much more comfortable to solicit candid feedback in a trusted environment. The initial setup was very easy, even though we do manual demographic entry. It's very smooth to run and use, and I appreciate all the support from agents, chats, and guides.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

It could be easier to navigate between reports without always refreshing to the home results screen. The back button usually kicks me out of a category or back to the full data set.

Culture Amp uses validated questions to streamline survey creation, timing, and interpretation, reducing the burden. It guides us on action plans, maximizing our efforts' impact.

**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

I really appreciate that Culture Amp is very easy to use. I find the visuals easy to interpret and it's very quick to get exactly the right time. I particularly like the button with the impact column where you can quickly know where actions need to be taken. This allows us to get straight to the point in our projects. Moreover, the initial setup of Culture Amp was very easy to configure and I greatly appreciated the support from the team, which was very clear. This really facilitated the integration into our workflow. Finally, it is a solution that adapts well to our specific needs and I am very satisfied with its use.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

The only thing I think we are less satisfied with is that an annual survey is not frequent enough. With Culture Amp, there is too much time between surveys compared to OfficeVibe where we could conduct surveys every two weeks. Also, we cannot respond to comments in real-time on Culture Amp, which is lacking compared to OfficeVibe.

I use Culture Amp for our annual engagement surveys. The kiosk feature and multiple languages are super useful for our factory employees. It's simple to use, with clear and quick visuals to identify where to act.

**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

I love the functionality of the Culture Amp platform; it's so easy to use. If you do have questions, the templates, learnings, and help feature have the answers you might need right at your fingertips. I also love that the platform is backed by People Science. Designing an engagement survey can go in many directions, so I appreciate that Culture Amp offers a People Science-backed template as a starting point while still being fully customizable to add our specific values. The initial setup was effortless, and working with Rhone made it a seamless process—honestly one of the easiest platform implementations I've done, and I've done a lot!

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

The one thing that I feel could be better is user access. I like that it is set up per survey or per country or function but I think there could be easier ways to grant access to things (I.e. pre-determined HRBP or manager roles that have what access you would expect across the platform). Pre-determined roles that can be assigned would be nice.

Culture Amp streamlines our performance cycles and makes talent assessments easier. The reporting features address our unknowns like manager 1x1s and goal setting.

The way data can be effectively synergized across the platform and various components is impressive, and it helps everything work together more smoothly.
The impactful HR trends and metrics we can measure effectively using culture amp.
The user friendly platform and inbuilt AI support for our people, for example supporting them to provide better-quality feedback during performance reviews.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

They often update the platform without letting customers know. Twice, we were in the middle of a live cycle and exporting data each day when they changed where the reports were located. This was really frustrating because the dashboards were being provided to our CEOs daily, and they were suddenly replaced with less helpful, raw data exports.

Through Culture Amp we can now easily:

**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

I really love how Culture Amp provides structure and offers real-time data analysis, which helps save time. The heat maps are invaluable for quickly identifying opportunities for improvement across our workforce. I appreciate that it comes with structured questions we can anchor to, and I love the flexibility to adjust or add questions yearly, which aids in gathering additional insights. The ability to look at both macro and micro levels across our workforce is super valuable. I like how it integrates with our HR system, BambooHR, enabling quick and easy deployment of tasks. I love that we can respond to comments and provide context, which prevents leaving people hanging, and helps in developing actionable plans we can work on. The initial setup was pretty easy, allowing us to deploy our first survey fairly quickly.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

One of the things, and this may be on our end more than anything, is being able to do more two way communications. So we're getting a lot of information back, and we put together a plan but still haven't been able to capitalize on Culture Amp's ability to put out our action plan and put it out there for people to see what we're doing and how we're doing it to make a difference within the culture. We've been working to do that as an organization and show people, but I haven't been able to really do that in Culture Amp. The other downside is it's just one more thing for people to get into. Other than twice a year, people don't get into it. We don't use some of the other functions of it, so that is problematic.

I love Culture Amp for its real-time data analysis, saving us time with heatmaps and identifying improvement areas. Its structured, adjustable questions gather valuable insights. Integration with BambooHR is seamless, allowing quick deployment. It helps in crafting actionable plans and supports macro and micro-level workforce analysis.

Culture Amp is a one stop solution for the career goals, perfomance review and feedback.
One can easily give the feedback about anyone but that too with the approval of the manager.
Manager has the liberty to select the person to give feedback to the colleague working under him.

You can plan when to provide feedback to each member of my team, and different processes or departments of the organization can be integrated.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

It has some limitations for uploading files or evidence that can be added as a follow-up to show that some goals have been achieved or worked on.

The problems with the low performance of the indicators, Culture Amp helps me to personally track each element of my work team, providing feedback on how much we need to reinforce some processes and congratulate when they meet or exceed expectations.

**What do you like best about Culture Amp?**

I have already dealt with many different contacts at CultureAmp – and without exception, all of them were very competent, professional, and always a great help/support.
When we have a question or a problem, we receive support very quickly. This applies both to direct contact with our contacts and to the support assistant. I find the support chat particularly impressive: If the AI cannot provide a suitable solution, I am seamlessly transferred to a support staff member who takes over the case within seconds. Even if I respond hours later and the original support contact is no longer on duty, the next colleague takes over immediately – with full knowledge of the previous communication. You don't have to explain anything again. This is truly an excellent support experience.
The product itself also convinces me greatly. Especially the strong organizational psychological foundation makes a clear difference for me compared to other providers I have known so far.
Another plus is the ability to derive actions directly from the engagement results and track them in the tool. This keeps everything in one place and important actions are not lost due to tool changes or media disruptions.
We have been using the engagement module for several years and have received feedback from all managers that the usability of the interface is really intuitive - which saves us training for new managers :-)

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

As much as I would like to say something that I don't like: I have not been able to find anything over the years that was not either a configuration error on our part or was immediately resolved by CultureAmp.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use CultureAmp for a wide range of surveys – from classic pulse surveys to ad-hoc surveys on specific topics. The following aspects of Culture Amp are particularly helpful to us:

The excellent integration with our HRIS gives us the confidence that we are always working with up-to-date employee data, without manual syncs or additional maintenance. At the same time, we are convinced by the true anonymity of the responses. Nevertheless, we can use the tool to specifically remind only those people who have not yet participated to take part. Additionally, the results are very well analyzable: By comparing with previous surveys and using the heatmap, responses can be meaningfully compared and quickly categorized according to criteria.

Our approach to surveys has noticeably changed through the use of Culture Amp: from "We need to do a survey again, and the results are ultimately unusable because they are confusing or lack structure" to "We create surveys with high-quality questions and gain real learnings from the results – and implement the actions derived from them directly in the tool."

I really like that Culture Amp continues to adapt and grow without changing the main core of their system but improving small things. They also have a bunch of learning features that are extremely useful. We really enjoy the way their data is presented. Additionally, their new AI comment summary feature is really awesome.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

Sorry. I think some of the reporting aspects of Culture Amp can be a little bit tricky to pull because of the confidentiality in the survey. It can lead to increased confidentiality settings not letting you get data from specific people, which can be a little bit frustrating.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Culture Amp helps us close the communication gap, identifying trends without needing time-consuming conversations. It converts feedback into data easy to present to executives, improving engagement action planning.

I find Culture Amp to be an easy tool to use for setting up and tracking goals, which is particularly helpful for year-end performance reviews. The transparency of the tool is great because both employees and management can track performance at a single click. I really appreciate the data safety, where data is shared only within specific hierarchies, so my manager can see only my data. It's user-friendly, transparent, and ensures data safety, and the initial setup was smooth.

It could have more aspects like employees being able to trigger emails for meetings or if I don't like my review from my manager, then that should highlight to higher management.

I find Culture Amp to be extremely easy to use, which was a relief since I was initially worried about implementing it ourselves despite the available support. The platform has been absolutely amazing for us, sharing this view with my colleagues. Its AI capability stands out as next level compared to other products I've used for engagement and pulse surveys, which can't even compare. I appreciate the feature where it asks relevant questions and challenges us, making it valuable in summarizing key issues rather than going through comments individually. I liked the prompts for the one-on-one sessions. They also had a slider that the employee could fill out during the feedback loop, which made the process feel more guided.  Mostly it had everything that was required for the review process and ensure all the targets were being meet.  It was pretty simple to use and was something that was required to complete on a monthly basis.

It sometimes felt like there was way too much to fill out, and a lot of it ended up being skipped or never used. Some of the menus and workflows also didn’t really match how we work in our industry, so it didn’t always fit our day-to-day process.

It helped solve our employee review and performance process. This also worked for our compensation adjustments as well as the employee wellbeing checkups.

I like the ability to look back at past reviews and compare them in the split panel to the current reviews. I think having that is useful. Another thing that is useful is being able to attach goals to the company goals. I mostly value getting feedback from my manager through Culture Amp and the ability to review it with my manager and then sign off on the review.

I find that Culture Amp is not generally straightforward to use. To find what I need, I have to navigate across different categories and features, which seems harder than just using a Google Doc or Excel sheet.

I like that Culture Amp is super easy to use and really intuitive, which makes it accessible for our staff. The customer service has been amazing, providing really responsive support whenever we've had questions or needed improvements. I also find the tools to be logical and easy to implement. The reporting is great, providing us with valuable data insights and excellent visuals that make it straightforward to share learnings from surveys. The AI coach is an exciting feature, and we hope it will help us turn our data into actionable insights.

The main thing we've noticed is when we are setting up performance reviews, it's really hard to select staff. We have the option of importing a list, but when it comes to just selecting staff, it's really just a drop down list. It's challenging to see who you've already selected and cumbersome to go back through and identify who has already been assigned. I think that's the single biggest challenge that we've encountered. In the great scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal, but it's definitely an issue in the moment.

A good range of data formats (bubble comment graph, easy question ratings, pretty good AI comment analysis), with heatmaps that are both easy to read and manipulate. It's a pretty easy set up for a survey, and can automate with a number of HRISs, which has saved a lot of time and refinement. The customer support team is always very helpful and friendly (although the chat bot can be a little glitchy).

I would like to be able to see full round ups of positive, neutral and negative scores for the overall survey (ie what is the average neutral score rate) for quick morale comparison to previous surveys. It's a small thing, but actual proves pretty useful for quick steer analysis.

Good analytical tool for surveys, speeds up analysis significantly with a good visual format and a pretty good comment analysis tool. (Was previously using survey monkey and excel analysis, which was clunky and allowed for manual errors)

One limitation we’ve encountered is participant management at the survey level. Currently, it isn’t possible to remove or exclude specific individuals from a single survey once they’re part of the master employee list. To prevent participation, the individual must be disabled at the master employee level, which creates unnecessary administrative friction, especially when managing cases like leave statuses.

Greater flexibility to exclude individuals at the survey level would streamline administration.

The reports are fairly straightforward and easy to read. The processes, while sometimes limited, are beginner friendly and cover the most important things.

Culture Amp is limited in a few ways- first, their reports for things like 1:1s or engagement surveys have unexpected limitations at time that are inconvenient- such as the filtering process for engagement survey results, there isn't an option to just create one report for one manager- you need to create them for a whole subset of managers, and then make sure you're sharing correctly so only the one manager gets updated. This is a very odd and time consuming work around for what seems to be a straightforward request. Performance reviews have to be the same for the organization (I can't update by people manager / individual contributor unless I create a whole different cycle), and the development plan leaves plenty to be desired.

Thanks to the insights we get, we’ve been able to improve cross-department collaboration, build stronger trust in management, add new benefits to our package, and even resolve complex situations more effectively.
We also use 360 surveys before performance reviews, which helps us evaluate people more fairly and comprehensively. In addition, we regularly run 2-week and 1-month surveys for new joiners to keep a pulse on their experience — and those results have already led us to make positive updates in recruiting, L&D, onboarding, and the overall adaptation process.

I really appreciate Culture Amp's interface and the frequent product updates. The new AI coach is an awesome tool and has really helped us with our analysis. I also like how the platform allows us to link insights with culture-backed research, which adds rigor to our statistical analysis. The research aspects, particularly the benchmarks, are fantastic. They allow us to look at engagement results from an external macro perspective, which is essential for understanding how we compare. Being able to back up our findings with research is fantastic, especially since there's often a strong focus on gut feel in HR.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

I think the flexibility doesn't particularly work well for me. One of my pet peeves is the data aspect. I know there's a survey data analyst option to extract raw comments, but I'd love an in-between where I can look at aggregate scores and export them without needing the raw data comments enabled. It's also extremely frustrating when I don't know when to use the chatbot or go to my customer success manager. A little more clarity around the roles and who's responsible for what would be helpful.

I like the way Culture Amp shows survey results and summaries. It's nice to have a summary prepared with the main points. I also like that it keeps confidentiality really well. The integration with Slack makes it easy to give shoutouts without having to log in to Culture Amp. It simplifies day-to-day actions and makes it more accessible for our global employees to give shoutouts via Slack anytime they want.

**What do you dislike about Culture Amp?**

I would like that the shoutouts could be exported on a report, like on CSV or Excel.

**What problems is Culture Amp solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Culture Amp for keeping a record of employee performance, running surveys, and simplifying day-to-day actions. It provides accessible shoutouts via Slack and delivers survey summaries, ensuring confidentiality and making remote recognition easy.

I have moved from Turkiye to New Zealand for work. Business environment and culture is completely different. Culture Amp helped me to adapt to the New Zealand business culture. I continue to use it after three years and still find it insightful.

To be honest, I can't think of any downsides. May be I can say that, I am allowed to complete a part per day :)

What I like best about Culture Amp is how easy and chévere it is to share feedback and see clear results. It brings everyone’s voice together and shows what really matters, so leaders can act fast. The big upside is knowing our feedback drives real change, not just numbers on a screen

The least helpful part is sometimes the surveys feel a bit long or repetitive, which can make it harder for people to stay fully engaged. Also, while the dashboards are clear, digging into specific trends or details can take extra time. I wish some insights were easier to act on right away without extra analysis

Culture Amp helps us understand how the team really feels and where we need to improve. It solves the problem of “hidden” issues by giving everyone a voice, so we can spot challenges before they grow. It createsAs an employee, I find the platform easy to use and genuinely helpful when it comes to evaluating my own performance, identifying growth areas, and tracking progress over time. It’s not just about ticking boxes—it actually prompts me to think critically about how I’m contributing to my team and how I can improve.

I also appreciate how Culture Amp fosters open and structured conversations between employees and managers. The reflection templates and guided questions help me articulate my thoughts clearly and give me confidence going into 1:1s or performance discussions.

Overall, Culture Amp helps create a culture of continuous improvement and psychological safety—two things that have made a big difference in how I view my development at work.

Some of the questions tend to overlap across different review cycles, which can make the process feel more like a formality rather than a fresh opportunity for insight. In certain cases, I’ve also noticed that the platform doesn’t allow as much flexibility to tailor responses based on specific roles or team dynamics.

Additionally, while it’s great for individual reflection and manager feedback, I think it could do more to encourage peer-to-peer feedback or integrate ongoing check-ins in a less formal way throughout the year.

That said, these are relatively minor points, and I do appreciate the value the platform brings to performance and growth conversations.

It also solves the problem of visibility—both for individuals and managers—by providing a centralized view of progress, strengths, and areas to develop. As an employee, I benefit from this by having a clear sense of where I stand, what I’m doing well, and what I need to work on. It encourages accountability and helps me take ownership of my career path.

On a broader level, Culture Amp supports a culture of transparency, continuous feedback, and psychological safety—which ultimately makes it easier to grow, connect with my manager, and feel engaged in my role.

Culture Amp is always evolving, regularly introducing new features that significantly enhance the user experience. In addition to the platform itself, every staff member I have interacted with has been intelligent, friendly, and fully dedicated to ensuring that users get the most value from the platform. It seamlessly integrates with our HRIS system and is incredibly user-friendly, allowing admins and employees alike to easily learn and interact with the system.

Our organization does not utilize all the features available on the Culture Amp platform, so I find it difficult to comment on the full range of use cases that Culture Amp can provide. This is not a shortcoming of Culture Amp itself, but rather a result of our existing systems that already address some of the areas that Culture Amp also supports.
