The differences between cloud-hosted and self-hosted, classic forms and forms. There are some features available in one or the other, and I would to have all the features work in at least one of the applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is very little that Laserfiche cannot do. Within document management, there is not a better tool on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only downside I can think of is the fact that Laserfiche does not have a built in database, although it can connect to other databases through lookups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Laserfiche has a robust suite of features that accelerates my team's ability to build business solutions for our business customers. It has an intutive Forms builder process that includes business process automation. It also has a powerful document management repository complete with flexibilty to meet customer demands for permissions and security, and searching via content or metadata. Additionally, the navigation for users and administrators alike is intuitive and easy to follow. Laserfiche is fast-growing into a platform of choice for our business customers, used daily for various forms, business processes, and agency customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Laserfiche is a platform or a PaaS, which means in inherently has some of the limitations or restrictions that come with large-scale platform implementations. It will offer you 85% - 90% of what you need out-of-the-box to build the solutions you need; however, the remaining 10% - 15% can be challenging. To my knowledge, integrations with other platforms is a bit on the limited side, though Laserfiche is actively investing in that area. Some challenges with Laserfiche is lack of transparency to their road maps and response to customer requested fixes and enhancements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
