What do you like best about Keap?

Nice user-friendly dashboard with a clear navigation and menu. The support area is one of the best on CRM platforms, with loads of webinars and resources to support new users (like me!). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keap?

I am fairly new to the platform, so I am still learning and discovering its possibilities. Having recently set up my first automation campaign, I did find it a little confusing to understand and determine which elements sit in the different levels, but I will re-watch some of the webinars and hopefully, I will be able to work it out! What do you like best about Keap?

I don't like that you don't have permission to send campaigns to clients without their consent. Is there another way that we can access the client besides email? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a company that offers email marketing we do require that contacts give explicit consent in order to be sent emails. However if you have verbal consent you are able to manually opt in contacts. The only thing you wouldn't be able to do on your end is have the contact confirm their email to double opt in. You don't need a contact to double opt in to be able to send them emails.

We also offer text marketing as a way to reach contacts for Pro and Max users in the United States and Canada.

What do you like best about Keap?

The ability to keep track of clients' services, invoices, details on notes, and their contact, as well as all other info all in one place, is fantastic. This software made our office change the way we kept client data and started our process of going paperless. I love the feature that allows me to text my clients and keep a log of our communication. It is a much safer place to keep all this personal information and avoid using my cell phone. The software is easy to use, and the coordination team at KEAP made it simple and easy to learn. They continuously send webinars over emails that enhance your knowledge and ability to use the software, applying all of its features to the success of your business venture. I love it. What do you dislike about Keap?

The only thing I wish KEAP would have is the ability to process payments by ACH. I love the integrated payment feature it has. It makes it easy to process payments. However, we prefer the ACH processing for recurring clients because it does not require updates of card numbers every time we run payments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Keap solving and how is that benefiting you?

I haven't had many problems with KEAP, mostly benefits. A major benefit we had is the invoice management with clients that asked to make multiple payments for services or to come to pay later. Before KEAP I'd forget which clients owed us what, now I'm able to see all the money people owe us and I'm surprised at how many pending invoices we have still. Thanks to KEAP. What do you like best about Keap?

The campaign builder is incredible. If you're creative enough and know how to use the software (takes time) you can automate ANYTHING for your marketing strategies. One thing that doesn't get much attention is the Actionsets module. It's a legacy tool in the system but man does it do a lot! Actionsets expand all possibilities.

The amount of third-party software available is definitely necessary for most campaigns and worth the cost, especially the integration ones such as PlusThis, Zapier, LeadsBridge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Keap?

The Email Broadcasts interface should offer more options to customize the marketing emails. Right now it does enough but there's so much more it needs. I often have to add my own code to the email to make things look a certain way.

The Legacy Email Templates deserve a little upgrade too, the interface looks very 2000s and often breaks the formatting if you don't know how to use it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Keap:

Be mindful it's a lot to set up because it offers so much more than other CRMs. Pro tip: The Marketing Settings recommends to add DKIM to the records of the domain you'll be using to send marketing emails, but please contact your hosting company to help you set up an SPF record and possibly DMARC records, this will improve your email deliverability significantly! What do you like best about Keap?

Campaigns and automation are where Keap outshines many CRMs I used in the past. I love that I set up campaigns 3 years ago, and new subs are finding me on my blog and still getting those same emails I wrote 3 years ago. Set it up once, get results for a lifetime. What do you dislike about Keap?

It can be overwhelming to learn, but Keap offers amazing support through their online portal and live chat. I have always been able to find the support I needed on these two ways to get in touch with Keap. There's a phone line to call, but I am a millennial and prefer chat or DIY tutorials over calls. If you're a business owner who needs a robust email marketing system and a high-quality CRM, then Keap is the one. 1. Automation. Before Keap, I was constantly trying to stay on top of things. With Keap's automation tools, I created different campaigns to keep my clients happy and use broadcasts when I have something new to share.

2. Keap can be a GREAT tool if you're looking for all in one CRM. Keap handles your contacts; you can send invoices, collect payments, and much more with keap.
