What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite has been a real game-changer when it comes to managing our company's social media. We are still getting familiar with all of the features it has to offer, but we love being able to schedule our posts in advance and the ability to post to each platform at once. The new AI features that have been integrated are great and I'm sure will continue to advance in quality. Getting to share our posts as drafts to other team members is also a huge plus and allows our CEO to approve posts easily without taking too much time out of his day. Reviewing our progress and engagement across all the platforms allows us to make immediate changes to our strategy and provides a visual for what's working and what's not. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

I'm not sure if I just haven't figured it out yet, but it seems limiting when it comes to making posts with multiple slides. This could completely just be my unfamiliarity with all the tools, but if it is possible, its not obvious. The account / profile settings also has less-than-ideal UI. Sort of hard to navigate...the interface with connecting advertising accounts is a little weird and maybe should be organized with the initial social media account connection set up. Hootsuite helps solve the challenges of managing multiple social media accounts by providing a place for scheduling all of our posts, publishing, and monitoring content across various channels. It streamlines workflow by allowing me to plan and schedule posts in advance, ensuring a consistent and strategic content calendar.

Additionally, Hootsuite’s analytics tools provide great insights into engagement and our audience's likes and dislikes, helping me refine our social media strategy and make immediate improvements. The ability to track brand mentions and manage conversations on multiple platforms also makes it easier to engage with our followers and stay ahead of industry trends. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I have been using Hootsuite for more than 8 years and even after considering other software platforms always have stayed with Hootsuite. It is easy to use, flexible, customizable and reliable for our brands. We are a small marketing department but Hoosuite allows us to do sophisticated posts and any given time. The scheduling is so easy to do and it makes us appear much larger than we are. It is easy to use and open to multiple users. We use it every day for posting to mulitple channels. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

We haven't found many issues with Hootsuite. The main issue is that the different social media channels change their rules and parameters and Hootsuite has to figure out how to get them connected again - but that being said, it never is for more than a day or two Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite is solving a lot of issues for us. The main benefit is that we can program posts to multiple channels weeks in advance. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is a really good tool for managing all my integrated social media accounts from one place. The UI is simple and it’s easy to navigate. The reports are detailed and show how well my posts are doing, which has more than once helped me, and my team, impress our clients in the last 2 months alone. I am not leaving the tool anytime soon. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I use Hootsuite to manage social media for a nonprofit, and having a single dashboard to view and manage all my accounts has made things so much easier. Instead of switching between business accounts on Meta, crosspost to a different account, etc. I can just go to create a post, and select which accounts I want it to go towards, and it works. It was quick to implement as we just had to connect the various accounts, and working with the Hootsuite team was great as they offer a nice non-profit discount. New features have made it even better to use, including being able to tag collaborators for Instagram, and previews of what a post will look like within each channel. The various reports are also great for accessing. I use Hootsuite almost every day and I don't plan on switching. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

As far as I know, there is no way to directly access the dashboard, it always takes you to the hootsuite home page first. This is a small gripe, but it is an extra step. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I like being able to schedule multiple platforms at once and see a calendar view of when my posts are going out. This means I can typically set up a whole month of posts in one go and then I don't have to think about it again until next month. I also find the AI writing tool really helpful for optimising my posts and making them clearer. The metrics are also helpful. It's quite intuitive and easy to use. What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

Tagging can be a bit hit and miss. Sometimes the accounts don't show up to tag which is annoying. Occassionally my social accounts disconnect and have to be reconnected. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Trying to manage social media ccounts for a business can be chaotic and confusing if you have to go to 5+ different websites to make your posts, many of which don't allow you to schedule. Hootsuite makes it so much more manageable by allowing you to link all your social media in one place, make one post that can be posted on each site, and then scheduled out for months in advance so you don't even have to think about it. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

I really enjoy the fact that Hootsuite is so much more than just a 'Planner' - It offers great insights, fantastic ways to customise you content and above all, it's clever integration of AI. The Live scoring system for your socials alongside tracking key metrics is pivotal to running a succesful social setup. What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite puts most of our social media scheduling and analytics solutions in one place for a price that's better than most, particularly when managing across several accounts.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

More native integrations with social media platforms, like BlueSky (which has completely replaced both Twitter and Threads for us), are needed to make things easier for us.

Hootsuite's handling of apps leaves a bit to be desired. I shouldn't have to reconnect Pixabay and Canva every time I want to use them.

Hootsuite also needs the ability to specifically indicate whether or not a video scheduled for Facebook / Instagram should be scheduled as a Reel or a Story. We also don't have the ability to tag a collaborator in Facebook, but we DO in Instagram scheduling.

Finally, Hootsuite is in need of a geolocation tagging feature, particularly for Facebook and Instagram, which would allow us to tag the locations of our posts, rather than having to go back in to the platforms, themselves, and tag the locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite is a real life-saver for smaller orgs. As a nonprofit, Hootsuite helps us support our sponsors, mission, and vision by being able to schedule necessary posts for the entire year. It's a great source to help take workload off our plates. Additionally, Hootsuite often shows posts/comments that are harder to find in Meta Business Suite and are sometimes hidden in Twitter, Insta, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hootsuite?

Hootsuite unfortunately has to deal with issues on other platforms that affect their own performance, sometimes causing scheduled messages to miss their post (you get notified.) Every so often cookies block the image from being included in the post. My biggest wish is that Hootsuite would develop a library of partners handles, as Insta and Twitter don't link until it's posted (ex: the ability to load all business handles so we don't have to research every time.)
