The interface is easy to use, and implementing and scheduling posts across different platforms is super convenient and is a go to every day as a central point of all our social media. Managing multiple accounts and interacting with followers in one place is a huge time-saver.
The analytics tools offer valuable insights, helping me improve engagement.
All in all, integrating hootsuite into our daily social media needs has been quick and slick Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel the reporting and anylitics can be fiddly to zero in on what exactly I am looking ofr, but access to their training pages and customer support has helped balance this out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Hootsuite because you can schedule for ALL social media platforms in one space. I REALLY like the messaging feature where you can manage you inbox for ALL platforms in one space, by far the most helpful feature that use use every single day. You can edit cover photos which is a plus. You can create different captions for different platform's (this saves me so much time). I like how you can also choose to send yourself a notification to post for platforms like Instagram, so you can take advantage of their algorithm while still having your posts scheduled. Love how you can drag and drop files from your computer directly into the post. Lastly, I like how you can choose the aspect ratio of the photos you post for different platforms. Was super easy to integrate platforms into hoostuite and set everything up, took me maybe 30 minutes it was awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could edit videos in hootsuite like adding music and text. I like how in META business suite, you can choose choose the music and write text on your reels, but on hootsuite I either have to make a draft on Instagram, then download, then reupload and it takes time and the video quality is not as good. I was falling behind on social content, but this tool made it ridiculously easy to get back on track. In just a few steps, I scheduled 2 months' worth of posts and reactivated all my channels. The support team was super helpful, and their instructions were clear and direct, so I didn’t waste time figuring things out.
One of my favorite features is having all my inboxes in one place. It saves me time every day and helps me stay on top of client messages without constantly switching between platforms.
Setup was smooth, and using it daily feels effortless. It integrates seamlessly with all my socials—felt like just a few clicks, and I was good to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite has given me that capacity to reach our target audience on multiple trending social media platforms. As an intermediate user, Hootsuite has made it possible to manage our brand message across different aspect of social media, this bundled tool allows us to reach your target audience with ease with consideration for time efficiency and practicality. Personally, I feel the UI sometimes appear overbearing and overwhelming. This is a major downside for me as a user. If the UI could become more user-friendly, especially for new users, it could easily increase the functionality. While other key issues like analytics, lack of shortened url and extensive feature may appear negative for new users to learn the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The piece of Hootsuite that I like best is the AI post generator. It helps take so much of the burden off when needing ideas for text for a post. The software is super easy to use and it took less than a day for us to implement the software. Our Marketing uses the platform daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing I do not like about Hootsuite is that the Social Listening is an add-on feature. I think this should be included in the premium packages that we already pay for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As the CEO of The House of Edits, managing multiple high-profile clients and corporate brands, efficiency is key. Hootsuite has been a game-changer for us. From scheduling posts across multiple platforms to analyzing performance metrics, the platform offers a seamless workflow. The integration with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter saves countless hours and ensures our content strategy is executed flawlessly.
The team collaboration feature is a huge plus, allowing our designers, strategists, and social media managers to work in sync. Hootsuite’s analytics dashboard provides deep insights, helping us refine our strategies for maximum engagement. A must-have for any serious digital marketing agency! While Hootsuite is a powerful social media management tool, one drawback is its pricing structure, which can be quite expensive for agencies managing multiple accounts. Additionally, the Instagram API limitations sometimes restrict direct posting, requiring manual intervention. The user interface, though functional, could be more modern and intuitive, especially when managing a high volume of content. Despite these minor setbacks, it remains a strong tool for social media management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Hootsuite for a month now, and I can confidently say it's the best tool I've ever used for social media management. The ability to manage multiple accounts from a single dashboard has saved me so much time and effort. Scheduling posts in advance across different platforms is incredibly convenient, and I've seen a noticeable improvement in my social media engagement.
The analytics and reporting features are top-notch, providing me with valuable insights into my social media performance. This has allowed me to make informed decisions and optimize my strategy for better results. I also love the collaboration features, which make it easy to work with my team and ensure a consistent social media presence.
The Hootsuite mobile app is a game-changer, allowing me to stay connected and in control even when I'm on the go. The customer support and educational resources available through Hootsuite are excellent, helping me make the most of the platform.
Overall, Hootsuite has exceeded my expectations and has become an indispensable tool for my social media management needs. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to enhance their social media presence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One small drawback I've noticed is that the initial setup can be a bit overwhelming due to the wide range of features available. However, once you get the hang of it, the platform becomes incredibly intuitive and easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate all the learning opportunities and helpful insights into the social media world. When they release documents on trends and industry-relevant knowledge, I find that very valuable. Using their dashboard is an added bonus as it allows you to schedule content to platforms without a built-in scheduler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I prefer using Meta Business Suite for scheduling Facebook and Instagram posts, I am more used to it and it feels a bit more user friendly. I will always view platform analytics directly from the platform instead of Hootsuite due to personal preference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hootsuite is a powerful tool for managing multiple social media accounts from one central platform. One of the standout features for me is the ability to quickly pull a wide range of data and select specific accounts for analysis. The platform offers robust comparison abilities, allowing you to analyze performance across different time frames. The scheduling feature is also a huge plus — I can plan posts and schedule them to be published at the optimal times, across multiple channels simultaneously, which saves a ton of time. Additionally, the reporting feature is fantastic. It provides in-depth insights into which types of content perform best, making it easy to measure engagement, monitor progress, and present data to the team. The range of metrics available for each account is impressive, and I appreciate that Hootsuite regularly publishes blogs to help users maximize the platform's potential. Overall, it simplifies the process of managing social media and gives you all the tools needed to improve performance.
Overall, while Hootsuite is incredibly helpful and efficient for managing social media and pulling key metrics, these areas for improvement do slightly hinder the user experience. With a few tweaks to the reporting tool and added functionality for bulk actions, it would be a near-perfect platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Hootsuite offers many great features, there are a few aspects that could use improvement. The biggest issue I’ve encountered is with the reporting tool. It seems like the main reporting functionality has changed, and I’m no longer able to have my "default" screen include an overview of all my accounts. Now, I have to create individual reports for each account and go into them separately to pull the data, which is a bit more time-consuming. Additionally, the reports seemed stuck on data from 2022 for a while, which was frustrating. I also noticed that the reports can sometimes be inconsistent—if I pull two similar reports, the top posts may differ based on the metric (likes, comments, impressions), which makes it difficult to draw clear conclusions. I really wish there was more consistency between reports. Another downside is the lack of bulk post deletion — it’s a bit tedious to delete individual posts one by one, and it would be great if there was an option to delete multiple posts at once. Lastly, the time frames for comparing data can be limiting. For example, when comparing data from this year to last year, I was unable to go back to January 1st and had to settle for January 15th, which impacted the accuracy of my analysis. Hootsuite's core functionality as a scheduler is its best feature. While it has added several additional capabilities over the years, I appreciate the fact that it has maintained the planning and scheduling feature at the highest level. Many SaaS companies tend to lose their focus and let the element that originally brought people to the product go to the wayside after a few years, and Hootsuite has not. As someone who does social media across three companies and four networks, it's nice to have a one-stop shop for social media. I also like that days are labeled for what national days or relevant events (ex. Valentine's Day, the Superbowl, etc) are occurring, which helps me ensure that I don't miss an important posting theme. I also like the analytics platform, especially for social networks (like X) that charge for analytics tracking. It's nice to have everything in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have not been a huge fan of the Listening feature on Hootsuite, as it doesn't capture conversations well within my hyper-niche market. However, if you are a company that is looking to track and capitalize on large trends or broad subjects, it's likely a more useful feature. I also don't use the Ads feature, as I find that it is just easier to manage my ads on the network itself. Finally, I continually struggle with posting videos to X on Hootsuite, as it pushes back for size restrictions that posting directly to the platform does not seem to have as an issue. Brethren Mutual has used Hootsuite as its social media management software for over nine years! We love the ease of use of the product, the ability to plan out our social media experienace for customers in advance, and enhance our posts with Hootsuite's built-in AI capability. One of the best upsides of the software is that employees of all skill-sets can be trained to use the software to ensure our social media messages don't skip a beat! I haven't found any downsides of Hootsuite in our nine years of using the product. That's why we keep using it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
