Our team loves the ability to change the project layout so it can be viewed either by the individual responsible for the tasks, the status, or as gantt chart. Everyone looks at everyone differently and this allows us all to see it as we need to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hive is robust so it took a little while to understand how to use it. The resources were there but you have to have the time to put into it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
How easy it is to create a project and assign tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
there is nothing i dislike, I find it very easy to use, and I like all the functions it has, like time tracking! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The visual nature of the user experience was a key component as to why we selected Hive. The number of custom views allows our multiple teams to quickly access to the data they need to help deploy resources in the best manner possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The mobile app could benefit from an evolution. It is currently a basic, but serviceable app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The way the application is intended is something to admire, the intuitive and easy to use of its graphical interface allows any user to use it without any problems, this is very important since this type of software lies in the degree of organization that can give the user to facilitate the work of project management to your company or department, through constant monitoring and predictive analysis that the application performs very well. The mobile application is not responsive, it has problems to load so working from my device is almost impossible for me. Switching between menus causes the application to take a long amount of time, so this is one of the things that needs to be improved, loading times and overall optimization of the application for both the Android version and the iOS version. It is great to see all of the projects that are being worked on. You can see what other people on your team are also working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a little hard to figure out where to track time at first. But I think coming up with an internal system is best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Different views, gantt, spreadsheet, KanBan, etc. I love the endless subtasks that you can create.
Projects and subprojects.
Portfolio overview is a nice tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Think it needs a "tomorrow" or custom on My Actions so I can filter even further.
The app is just not even close to the desktop experience. I rarely use it as the functionality is so limited.
Calendar integration needs to be able to integrate subprojects.
Email integration is ok, but would be nice if it were able to link to multiple accounts.
Search feature needs to be able to search at the project level, not just action/task level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that I can include photos and videos of projects that we are undertaking, simultaneously. It is a straightforward app and a new-bee can figure it out very quickly. I get notifications as the team completes tasks. I can have all kinds of categories, so the team can throw out their ideas, and I can prioritize them and kick some down the road, so no one gets a straight "No" but instead it goes into a consideration folder for future projects, which later are ranked and sorted and poor ideas can fall off silently. We used a whiteboard previously, and it was hard to read some people's handwriting fonts. Some people wrote in a giant font, this is clean and tidy and can be seen on multiple devices at the same time. As people check it off, you see who and when completed tasks. We will likely have a large screen in the office, so we can walk in and review as a group from a distance in mornings and at breaks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use the desktop app the most, I may need to update the cell phone app, I find it difficult to navigate, but there may-bee a newer one? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Hive specifically for our IT tasks - this has been great for organizing all of the projects and knowing what the status of each project is and who is responsible for what in each project. I find it easy to use, and easy to figure out what is assigned to yourself and what you are responsible for.
It's nice that even if a project isn't assigned to you, you can find it and see the status of where it's at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only area of hive that I wish was different, was that when you received notifications, if you clicked on the bell, it would automatically mark the notifications as read but not remove them from the notifications once they were read. Sometimes it would be nice to be able to go back to previous notifications as a quick, did this happen check in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The clean UI, the cross platform usability of the app, the desktop app, the configurability of the views. The chat feature is awesome too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any complaints at this point. It is everything my team needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simple & effective organization across companies, projects, teams, tasks, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Somewhat inflexible when it comes to automation. Design is not too engaging, but don't mind that much in a business tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
