I love that it has the ability to integrate with multiple applications, we can easily track project progress. I like the visualization of project task progress, you can create a knowledge base for your team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some privacy setting could be improved, it would be better to have a good report and visual elements. There are too many navigation options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hive is the only project management platform that has truly worked for me. Its form feature allows staff to submit requests, which are then automatically assigned to team members—helping us complete tasks efficiently. I also love the Outlook integration, which lets me turn emails into actionable tasks, so nothing gets lost in my inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’d love to see more customization options for forms, especially with conditional logic. This would allow us to tailor forms to specific needs and streamline the request process even further. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm managing a number of teams, and I really appreciate Hive's card-based action system that it brought to our company. Since the implementation of this action tracking system as part of our Q4 strategy rollout last year, I can see very precisely what my team leads are doing and lead them effectively. The ability to track actions down to the smallest details has greatly increased the productivity of our whole department - my teams are completing projects about 10% faster than before. The Gantt chart view unfortunately does not give us a sufficient (for me) overview of how the project is going and where we are at any management level. During the monthly progress meetings with directors, I can't effectively switch from one timeline view to another, and printing these charts for board presentations is limited and often frustrating. I have also noticed that when the percentages supplied on action cards are not synced with the Gantt view, my team leads will have to do the manual update of the reports which will take up some time. I really like the way the projects are catergorized and everything related to the projects in contained within that one record. You don't have to nagivate multiple through multiple screens to find what you're looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's not clear when I can edit the project record after I submit a ticket. I believe the admin must need to approve the ticket before I can I make any changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hive is an awesome tool. It’s so easy to add new projects and action cards and to keep all of my tasks organized by due date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I’m really enjoying all of the new features, the one thing I will say is that I really don’t like most of the different view options. I pretty much stick with the status view option because it’s the only way that my brain really works. I find that some of the other ones like the Gantt view, or even the list view are more overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This tool is great and easy to incorporate for our team. I like that it tailors each project view so that it works much better and you can see them in a customizable timeline. On top of that, the initial setup was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far so good but I would like them to improve the mobile version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that you can add checklists, it has great collaboration features. Subtasks can be created for each checklist, I love the drag and drop features. There are additional features and integrations available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not able to provide detailed reports, most of the integrations cannot be used. It can be a challenge if you are new to the management system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like it because it offers a good learning curve and is excellent for productivity and tracking. It is also simple and easy to use to meet different needs. I have found it very useful for all its functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In general it works well and I hope it continues to do so and does not get worse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I typically have multiple projects on the go with multiple subtasks in varying stages of progress. Hive allows me to keep track of every task within their own individual workspaces but also see at a glance how each overall project is tracking. This is further aided by the ability to assign workflow statuses to individual tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really did not find anything much to dislike about Hive although there was an initial learning curve as there are some differences with the platform when compared with other project management tools. The support team were extremely helpful though in helping to learn some of the nuances of the software. I have found a few UI glitches from time to time when viewing multiple columns in the desktop application but these seem to be resolved by reloading the window. The best part of Hive is the proof and approvals, also the forms. We have a lot of different creatives for local store marketing as well as system wide campaigns. Having all the proofs/approvals by version makes it super easy to track and see what is done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dont have a downside to Hive. It's a fantastic tool that has made it so easy to use for our own custom needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
