What do you like best about Hive?

We use Hive as an "action plan" of sorts, keeping track of objectives and departments, rather than traditional project management with only tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hive?

The "always on" nature of the mobile app, plus the inability to create a new note on the Android app are significant drawbacks. Offline mode + Notes on mobile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Hive:

Hive is the perfect system to handle high-level management tasks and meeting tracking. Setup the shared projects, then let users setup their own individual projects as needed. Show everyone how Notes work, are shared and how private notes can be added to shared notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hive solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use Hive to address a need for cross-department, goal-oriented action plans. Transparency, high-level overviews and the various exports options provide us with what we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hive?

The easy user interface and visual design--it allows me to easily see my tasks and communicate with only those I need to invite. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Hive?

I'm not sure about any downsides we've experienced. Possibly another login/password to keep track of? I don't think anyone has had trouble logging in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Hive?

Some of the common feedback I hear from team members is their appreciation for the 6 different project views that can be selected from. Our team moved from managing all projects over email, calendar and spreadsheet to Hive, and I believe allowing the individual user to use the view that was most comfortable and comparable to their previous process was part of the reason it was received and adopted by the team so well. What do you dislike about Hive?

There are still glitches that happen from time to time, where content just disappears which is very frustrating. This happens mainly in Notes but also in action cards. It creates a hesitance and distrust of the system when discussing moving all meeting notes and other items typically stored in Google docs to Hive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Hive solving and how is that benefiting you?

Hive is a great PM software for teams that are coming from various fields/departments that don't share systems/processes. The flexibility and tailored views for the user make it ideal for capturing so many aspects of projects and teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hive primarily helps us with time tracking and making sure we're fully aware of the stages our projects are at.

Through the dashboard, we can centralize workflows and combine processes like drafting, approvals, and automated administration.
