"Excellent Team Collaboration, but Search and Reporting Need Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Front?

What I like best about Front is that it centralizes all of our customer communication in one place, making it much easier for our team to collaborate and stay organized. Shared inboxes, internal comments, and assignments make it clear who owns each conversation and prevent duplicate responses. The integrations with other tools we use allow us to access important customer information without constantly switching between applications, which has made our workflow much more efficient. Overall, Front has improved response times, increased team visibility, and made managing customer conversations much more seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

One area where Front could improve is search performance, especially when trying to find older conversations or messages with common keywords. The interface is generally intuitive, but some settings and automation rules can take time to learn and configure, particularly for new users. I’d also like to see more flexibility in reporting and analytics without requiring workarounds. While the AI features are promising, they could provide more customization and context-aware suggestions to better fit different team workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Otto B of Front

Thanks so much for the thoughtful review! We’re glad Front is helping your team keep all customer communication in one place and making collaboration easier through shared inboxes, comments, assignments, and integrations.

We also really appreciate the candid feedback on areas to improve, especially around search performance for older conversations, the learning curve for settings/automation, and the need for more flexible reporting/analytics. And on AI: agreed that better customization and more context-aware suggestions would make it even more valuable across different workflows.

Thanks again for taking the time to share this, feedback like yours directly helps us prioritize what to improve next.

"Lightning-Fast, Intuitive Hub That Streamlines Team Communication"
5/5
What do you like best about Front?

The best part about Front is that it acts as a lightning-fast, single source of truth for our team's communication. The UI/UX is incredibly clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate without any steep learning curve. From a performance standpoint, it never lags, even when searching through massive client message histories. It seamlessly integrates with our everyday tools (like our CRM), which completely streamlines our collaborative workflow. Recently, their AI and intelligence features have been a game-changer for summarizing long threads and drafting quick replies. Finally, the support and onboarding team made setup a breeze. When you factor in the hours saved each week, the pricing is more than justified—the ROI was almost immediate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

Because Front fundamentally changes how you handle email compared to traditional clients like Gmail or Outlook, there is a bit of a learning curve for new team members. Also, because it centralizes so much communication in one place, notifications can become overwhelming if you don't take the time to set up strict rules and boundaries early on Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Otto B of Front

Thanks so much for the review, we really appreciate it. Glad to hear Front’s been a fast, reliable “single source of truth” for your team, and that the clean UI, strong search, and integrations are making day-to-day collaboration smoother. Love that the AI features have been helping with long threads and quick replies too.

Also really appreciate the honest callouts on the learning curve and notifications. Front can feel different from Gmail/Outlook at first, and notifications can definitely get noisy if rules and preferences aren’t set up early.

We’ll share this feedback with our team as we keep improving onboarding and making it easier to dial in the right setup from day one.

Thanks again! It’s awesome to hear you’ve seen fewer missed messages, less overlap, and faster response times.

"Revolutionized Our Team's Email Collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Front?

I find the Snooze option very useful for returning to already read emails, as it helps me remember to respond to them later. The internal collaboration with the team is an amazing option because we can work on a single email and send notifications to every team member involved, which can be customized per the subscriber's choice. I appreciate how the Assigned option brings clarity to the ownership of tasks. The internal chat is fantastic for working on an email with the team all in one place instead of moving between different platforms, and it helps keep the context of the whole scenario in one place. I also like the Rules setup option for work and collaboration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

Pricing is a bit high, which makes me think twice. I would also like to add an option for mail merge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Otto B of Front

Hi Akshay,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with Front! We’re happy to hear that features like Snooze, Assignments, Rules, and internal collaboration are helping your team stay organized and work more effectively together. One of our goals is to transform email from an individual activity into a truly collaborative workspace, so it’s especially rewarding to hear how internal comments, team notifications, and shared context are helping your team communicate and make decisions without switching between multiple tools.

Thank you as well for your honest feedback regarding pricing and mail merge functionality. We understand that cost is an important consideration for every business, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective.

Thank you again for your review and for being part of the Front community!

"Intuitive, Organized UI That Keeps Our Support Team Productive"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Front?

What I like best about Front is its intuitive and user-friendly interface. The platform is easy to navigate, making onboarding new team members simple and helping agents work efficiently without a steep learning curve.

Everything is organized in a way that makes managing conversations, collaborating with teammates, and tracking tickets straightforward. The clean UI, combined with powerful features and automations, allows our team to stay productive while delivering a great support experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

One area I'd like to see improved is Smart QA. While I understand the feature is still in beta, additional customization options for QA criteria would make it much more powerful and adaptable to different team needs.

It would also be helpful to have more robust filtering and sorting capabilities, such as viewing evaluations by lowest-to-highest score, date ranges, evaluator, or specific criteria. These enhancements would make it easier to identify trends, prioritize coaching opportunities, and conduct more targeted quality reviews.

Even in its current state, Smart QA has been a valuable tool, but these additions would significantly improve the overall experience for quality and training teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Familiar Inbox UI with Powerful Data Insights and Time-Saving Collaboration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Front?

I love how the UI resembles an inbox with a familiar feel but still allows you to use comprehensive data collection around reply times, tags and volume. We also use the integrations with other tools in our tech stack which saves even more time and context switching.

One of my favorite features is being able to comment within a shared inbox message; this saves us so much time and eliminates having to be the go-between, which inevitably speeds up our reply times and improves our quality overall! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

Id love for a few more integrations to be possible. The AI message generation is also a bit less intelligent as other models. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Otto B of Front

Thanks so much for the review, we really appreciate you taking the time to share this!

We’re glad Front feels familiar like a traditional inbox, while still giving you the deeper visibility into things like reply times, tags, and volume.

It’s also great to hear the integrations are helping your team cut down on context switching, and that comments in shared inbox conversations are making collaboration faster and smoother (no more playing go-between).

And thank you for the honest feedback too! More integrations is a common ask, and we hear you on AI message generation. We’ll make sure to pass that along as we keep improving both.

Really appreciate you sharing how Front is helping you keep reply times down and deliver more value, even as volume grows without a big headcount increase.

"Front Keeps My Days Smooth with a Handy Snooze Option"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Front?

Front makes my days smooth, the best part is the snooze option, so I never forget my pending emails Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

I cannot see the archived email easily, and sometimes my Gmail emails take time to pop up Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Otto B of Front

Thank you for such a lovely review — we're really glad to hear Front is helping your days run smoothly!

It's great to know that the snooze feature has been such a reliable way to stay on top of pending emails, and that the linking option has saved you the hassle of jumping between tools to track conversations. Those are exactly the kinds of friction points we want to eliminate.

We also appreciate the honest feedback on archived emails and Gmail sync delays. We understand how frustrating it can be when you can't locate something quickly or emails aren't appearing as fast as you'd expect, and we're sorry for the inconvenience. If either issue is ongoing, our support team would be happy to take a closer look — feel free to reach out at support@front.com.

Thanks again for being a Front customer!

"Excellent communication and nice new features "
4.5/5
What do you like best about Front?

It’s a very user-friendly platform. The AI features to adjust tone, improve grammar, or translate messages are a huge plus, helping us maintain a professional image for customer support.

It also allows us to set up rules so emails and requests are automatically assigned to each team member, significantly reducing the daily manual work we would otherwise have to do. Additionally, it is easy to integrate with our organization’s existing platforms, which makes implementation smooth and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

Some emails are occasionally delayed and take a bit longer than expected to arrive. We use Front daily so the volume of email is high. On the other hand, using private tags can sometimes be tricky. When an email is archived or snoozed, it may also be archived or snoozed within the tag folder. This can be confusing, especially if someone doesn’t know that they need to drag the email out of the main inbox so it remains visible under the tag without being archived. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Otto B of Front

"Efficient Client Tracking and Communication"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Front?

I really like the fact that Front has tags similar to Gmail. Initially, I was a little bummed about not using Gmail within Google Workspace at work because of how I triage my inbox normally in Gmail, but Front actually offers that and more. The templates are also helpful, and I think Front is pretty good, especially since the component for interacting internally as well as texting and email is there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

I guess scheduling messages could be better. I often need to send multiple texts that have to be scheduled at specific times, like at 9:00 AM, then 9:01 AM, and 9:02 AM. I'd like it to be more seamless even though it's not too bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Otto B of Front

Thanks for the terrific feedback, this is really insightful and so appreciated!

"Makes customer service work enjoyable"
5/5
What do you like best about Front?

Front is the email channel that we use at my place of employment. I'm in sales so we use this app to communicate internally with each other, customer service, production facilities, and for customer support as well. All of our emails stay organized and we can search and filter with ease in order to find what we are looking for. We LOVE the @mention feature in Front and use it frequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

I fully understand if it is unable to link to a Microsoft account, but we would love it if Front had the ability to link up with Microsoft Teams for ease of use and collaboration between calendars. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Otto B of Front

Hey Amber,

Thank you for taking the time to share this review.

I am glad to hear Front is helping your team keep communication organized across departments, and that search, filters, and mentions make it easy to collaborate and find what you need quickly.

I also appreciate the feedback on Microsoft Teams. We hear how valuable a Teams integration could be for smoother collaboration, especially around calendars. Thanks again for sharing your experience and suggestions.

"Central Hub for Streamlined Customer Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Front?

I really like using Front as it has become a central hub for our customer support team. It's easy to use with an intuitive interface and it's a really collaborative tool. I appreciate the visibility and ownership of tickets, and how I can set up rules to distribute tickets equally among agents to keep things unbiased. The initial setup was very straightforward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Front?

I think the search function in Front sometimes isn't very relevant or exact. It could be more forgiving and intelligent, providing partial matches. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Otto B of Front

Hi Ron!

Thank you for taking the time to share your review! We’re so glad to hear that Front has become a central hub for your support team and that features like collaboration, conversation ownership, and rules-based ticket distribution are helping your team work more efficiently. It’s also great to know your initial setup was straightforward.

We also appreciate your feedback about search. Making it easier to find exactly what you’re looking for, including through more intelligent and forgiving partial matching, is an area we’re continuing to improve. Feedback like yours helps us prioritize where we can make the biggest impact.

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!
