I make hundreds of calls a week for work, I love the fact that I can click on telephone numbers on my computer and have DialPad dial the call for me. I am also able to send texts to clients. The layout allows me to review calls and texts with any client very easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although Dialpad make everything so much easier I feel these 3 additions would help me so much more. These aren't dislikes for me, more of would like to see items...
1. I currently use the CHANNELS feature to save text messages that I use often, but I think being able to save text templates and select them in the text window would be a huge help.
2. I feel it would be helpful to allow some additional items or notes for contacts in the side contact window. Something like notes for key presses or extensions to get to the individual you are trying to reach. For example, "press 1 for english, press 4 for sales, dial extension 224". Also a link to a Salesforce record. My company will not allow me to install Dialpad in the Salesforce org but a simple workaround would be to allow the record link to be stored in the contact info in Dialpad so if a client calls me I can click the link to open the record and start taking notes in Salesforce or whatever CRM you happen to use.
3. I often have to call people back because they are busy or on another call etc. A quick call-back option to choose the time frame or date and time to call back. This might include a dashboard and notifications so you can review who you need to call today or get a notification at the time you are supposed to call a number. Dialpad makes things incredibly easy to get up and running with a business line. As our team grows, we don't have to worry about purchasing bulky phones and distributing them across the country. All it takes is a few clicks to set up a new number and off we go. The desktop and phone applications work seamlessly whether in my home office or out on the road. They also have a great analytics dashboard as well to get a feel for what we are doing well and where we can improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dialpad has had a few bugs over the years which have led to dropped calls. However, their team is always very receptive and responsive to pass through updates to fix things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like being able to change my outbound phone number depending on who I need to call. This feature can help prevent confusion for a client who typically speaks with a coworker from a different office. I also find the texting feature easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When using the app to place a call on my cell phone, I wouldn't say I like being prompted to call a different number entirely. At first, I was worried that something was wrong with my app but later realized this is how the app works. I am not sure why this is necessary, but this is not my expertise! Being a small business owner finding a phone system shouldnt be that hard. Also something that doesnt break the bank that will give you same tools that larger companies. Out of anything I tried to date, this is definitely the best I have seen Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Going to be very frank, all of the telecommunication systems setups or trying to understand them just from a site/ free trial is always confusing. My best advice if you are looking at any company service is just to book a call with their salespeople to get quotes. Don't waste months trying different things just to find out a year later you can get all the info from a salesperson. The only real significant thing I dislike (which is all this stuff online; I have had the same issue) is keep it SIMPLE FOR SET UP! Dial pad done a great job with onboarding but all of them do. The only issue is the average customer buying this software is use to different terms and well everyone uses different terms/ words for things. It be great to have different mock layouts where we can turn off and on certain layouts. The tools are not the issue but layouts for all of these companies get confusing. Finally if one of these platforms would offer privatelabeling where only our company branding is on it plus the domain url is different that be great! As a small business owner it is easy for employees that learn your system and services you use to take it bring it some where else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the interface and the dashboard, my fav feature is the call legs, so you can see actually the journey of a call and who missed it and who pick it up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that you need to put yourself unavailable in two places (internal and external) in order to not show available, also I don't like that as soon as you missed a call you get put into off dutty Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the ease of Dialpad Ai - easily able to transition to where you need to go to help figure out what to work on from your call transcripts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing at the moment, I haven't found anything to pinpoint a dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The options for multiple departments. It's super helpful that we can have calls recorded immediately as soon as callers call in. It's also nice that we can view multiple details inside our call centers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The iPhone app messaging features. The way to read messages on the computer & the iPhone messages are completely different. If you get multiple messages in all at the same time the different threads are not shown cohesviely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that when I am on a telehealth session with my patient, I can call another provider on dialpad talk, and the 3 of us can converse. I also like texting my work colleagues and patients using the messaging feature. What makes dialpad such a unique software is the ability to have a call summary every time, and this is especially helpful for tracking work calls and their contents for the protection of us and our patients. I also like that we can set work hours on there, and calls automatically go to voicemail after work hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I have noticed that it is difficult to find my call summary, especially when I don't need it immediately. Also, the transcript can sometimes not translate well when someone has a non-American accent, so dial pad will have to look into getting a universal transcript service to accommodate anyone from any nationality accurately.
