The set up for our different departments was super easy, we were able to set up directional paths to different teams in an organized way through their interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside that has been discovered is that it was confusing to be able to turn off certain calls for certain team members. We did figure it out but it wasn't necessarily intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Dialpad Talk is very intuitive and user-friendly. I was able to jump in and start using it right away with no training, and it is easy to add and manage contacts. I also really appreciate that it runs in the background even when I don't have the app open, so I can immediately see at a glance in passing my computer how many messages I have had come in without my having to open it up. There were many errors in the transcriptions--sometimes to the point of ridiculousness. However, I did appreciate the function as it was nice to have the option. Previous products I have used provided transcriptions of voicemail, but not of live calls. There were also errors in those transcriptions, and that seems to be the case with many apps I've used. It has organized messages and calls in the same way, so it's pretty easy to talk to a customer while reading the previous messages I sent.
It's a SMART phone system, and I mean it. It has an AI interface that is accurate for numbers, addresses and more, not 100% correct, but trust me is more valuable than you expect. It can also detect emotions and calls' purpose, it's a fantastic tool.
It has integrations with Gmail, so if you scheduled something with a customer, it gives you a notification, another helpful tool.
If you're looking to have a phone system capable of doing micro and macro calls operations this is the one, especially for call centers, it can be used for multiple teams and just one.
If a customer writes STOP, it automatically avoids sending messages to that customer again, even when you send blast messages.
I give it 9/10 cause I love dark themes, and this one doesn't have one (lol) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We needed a platform to integrate with Outreach.io so the sales team could easily click a phone number from either within our CRM or Outreach.io. This was the perfect solution as Outreach and Dialpad already had an integration with each other. The other benefit is we can do different offices and group individuals from North America vs EMEA in their respective offices. Should a prospect call our main office line, we can setup voicemails for each department, route to departments, round robin, etc. Great platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes Dialpad numbers will come up as spam on the prospect's side. To resolve this, we can just swap one Dialpad number for another, but that can get annoying. It looks to have been resolved and I don't get that complaint as often as I used to. Another issue we had in the past was there was no tone indicating that Dialpad was calling the prospect; all of a sudden, you'd hear their voice on the other end and it caught you off guard. Dialpad offers reliability and is easy to use for my staff. I also like the fact that it is available as a desktop and iOS app which makes it flexibile. We also like using the group chat as Dialpad allows us to communicate easily all in one place. No having to have a seperate app. Also like the integratuion with Google Business Suite. These are picky things, but I don't care for the way they do call routing for holiday routing or routing for situations when there is bad weather. Example, I would like to have a preset button that could be toggled that goes to a preset IVR saying we are closed due to the holiday or weather without it being such a production on setting something up from scratch everytime. Also don't like their second class treatment of fax. I know that fax is a dying technology but for our business (dentistry) it is still used a lot by insurance companies probably because its more secure then the internet.The last thing I wish for is being able to send files in the chat function. It works, we've experienced no issues, no bugs, no app crashing, no random call cut-offs... It just works. This is a night and day difference from the previous company we were using, We could see on their forums there were thousands of people reporting massive mission-critical bugs and after nearly a year most of them still were unpatched.

The Program is very easy to use. I like that I can have the program on my Laptop and my phone to help me stay connected to my clients. The overall, call and video quality has continued to improve making this service even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do receive calls from people who I do not know. I am not sure how people find my number unless they have dialed me by mistake or have been able to find my contact information online. I also wish the text message sound could be changed and to have more options with ring and notification tones would be nice to use. I prefer softer tones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Call recordings and transcripts are the most helpful tools. They help us get key info from the call for notes and follow-up. The Ai summaries are okay, but not really that helpful for what we use it for. We get the occasional laugh from Ai summaries when they get confused about who is speaking about what. The lack of other language support (specifically for Spanish-language calls) is frustrating. We call businesses in English and Spanish and Dialpad comes up with some pretty weird stuff for Spanish calls. At least a basic recognition that this is not English would be better than it totally flubbing the Ai summaries and transcriptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's amazing how the AI voice can transcribe almost 100% of all the things said during the calls. It's thorough and it even transcribes phone numbers as you would manually do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only "con" I've run into is the fact that I'm bilingual and sometimes have to speak Spanish during an English call and that scrambles up the algorithm and the AI goes bananas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
