There is nothing to dislike about Dialpad Ai. I have used many softphones, but this is the most compatible with my needs and work requirements and works well with slow internet connections too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think as this is used mainly for business purposes, it should have to call to all countries or at least a few minutes and SMS for each country because we only get USA and Canada free in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Works great on desktop and mobile. Phone calls ring to both the desk and the application, which is great. Transcripts are very helpful when you fail to take great notes on a conversation. Pretty much my only compliant with Dialpad, which is common with most VoiP software is getting the number flagged as spam. We have to whitelist each number with the phone carriers when it is reported. First calls to prospects are rarely answered because iOS flags the calls as spam. The UI is very simple and it have well orgainsed logs so i am able to check all the logs very quickly and also i can provide a very quick call summary of my work at the end of the day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the ring tone does not activate and the call recipient will answer suddenly. I would like a way to manually mark messages as read - if you are currently on a contact and they send you a message and you activate the Dialpad window, it automatically marks a message as read if you select a different contact. It doesn't integrate with our CSM software very well at all. In fact, we have to manually log our text because Dialpad doesn't have those capabilities....which means extra work for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We always used Ring Central prior using the dialpad, Dialpad voice quality is extremely good and also the voice mail option is very friendly. I like the ease of use and transparent pricing. The transcription and analytics data are really useful to me. I also like that I can stay connected by using the app downloaded on my phone when I am on the go. As well as have it downloaded on my Macbook to keep up with calls, chats and messaging as well. I was displeased with their customer service and lack of communication. In December 2022, I signed up on the DialPad Events page for a free virtual whiskey-tasting event with Dial Pad X Ranger Creek in January and never received the kit. I emailed after receiving a reminder about the event and received a nonchalant reply by Jenn that stated:

Hi Britnee,

We're sorry that you received this event reminder in error, as this class is by invitation only and is marketed to our new, prospective customers. Can you tell me how you heard about it?

When I responded to her twice, my emails went ignored by her, and I never received a response. Obviously, it was a free event so I am not a loss over it, but it's still the general principle. If you make a mistake, fix it the right way.

I also dislike the fact that Dialpad is now impending changes with SMS. The change triggers additional SMS/MMS and as a result, as of March 31st 2023 Dialpad will no longer be offering unlimited SMS/MMS and will have a new pricing structure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
