Our company uses Checkwriters as our payroll provider, and I've worked with them directly for about 6 or 7 years. I appreciate their user portal's simplicity as well as their responsive and knowledgeable customer accounts specialists. Checkwrtiters has been able to accommodate our multiple companies and their unique payroll structures with ease. They offer a variety of timekeeping and payroll solutions, allowing for our company's growth and changing HR processes. Although I love that a human always answers the phone, it can sometimes be frustrating when I can't reach the customer specialists familiar with my accounts' particulars. The customer service is amazing! I always hear about other payroll companies being difficult to reach, but CheckWriters is always available to help by email or phone. We don't use all of their features, but they have a very robust system with different platforms, and it's great to have everything in one system. I don't need to use another HR system on top of the payroll. We've been using CheckWriters for over 12 years, and I've never needed to look into another provider, as I've been happy with them. Because I was self-sufficient and did most of the work on your online portal, There wasn't much interaction with your company. I honestly can't say there was anything I disliked. Some of the reports are difficult to run. If an employee changes a department, when you run a historical report, they don't show up in thier prior department - only the new one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The user interface online can be challenging to learn at first. I wish there was one or two designated people helping us when we have questions. It seems that every time we have a question or need help, a different person helps us. Sometimes the person helping us is really great and super responsive.
