What do you like best about ChartHop?

ChartHop gives us the access we need to put our data to use in the way we need to! It also makes it so easy to search and split our org chart for the org views we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartHop?

If anything, there's too much to ChartHop - though you can easily manage the security around your data however you need to, all of the fields not hidden in the platform are available to all users to select when trying to search or filter, regardless of security settings will actually allow those fields to be put to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?

ChartHop allowed us to take Compensation Planning out of Excel and into a secure environment where we could monitor progress and automatically have all different groups in the same view as admins - no more need to turn one spreadsheet into 10 and then back to one once everyone is done!

The dashboards allow us to have real-time access to key data points, with the available filters giving us the ability to see the different groups' data that we are looking for without having to pull 10 different versions of the same report - this will save me at least 8 hours/month!

Headcount Planning gives us the ability to visualize the changes looking to be made, along with the power to validate the outcome of the changes we made against their intention. No more second guessing that all the data points were updated correctly with no easy way to validate!

Lastly - the org chart in and of itself is powerful. We used to have to play with screenshots, back-tracking, or manual digging in an org chart to get to the views we wanted. Now everyone in the org has easy access to the org chart and the ability to search not only for individual people, but for different departments, locations, teams, titles, and more! We can also easily export the org chart showing different departments and their reporting chain up to the top of the org - something our COO's been asking for for years! What do you like best about ChartHop?

The easy access and display of personal data! A fan of the Org chart! It helps me map people to their peers, and this is useful as we are an org that is spread out internationally! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartHop?

Nothing in particular! I guess the implementation in my region is not as compared to the US! We have to rely on another tool for Payroll. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?

The org chart and map specifically help out a lot! We are a team that is spread out internationally and have different timezones, the map helps us organise accordingly. The org chart helps s map down colleagues to their teammates and managers providing good insight into team structures

It helps me get a good idea about my equity in the org and it's growth along with value! Another solid feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ChartHop?

ChartHop is an agile solution that can help bring your strategy to life. I’ve used ChartHop at three prior companies, and I love that I can come up with a People Strategy that is creative and I can leverage ChartHop to bring that strategy to life. The tool has allowed me to take those creative ideas and implement them into actionable people processes. ChartHops apporach aligns with my strategy. It is a really creative platform. If you have a particular way of doing things, it can almost always be done with ChartHop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartHop?

Nothing comes to mind. Every time we’ve encountered something the ChartHop team has been really responsive to the feedback and helped us get what we need quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?

We’re using ChartHop in a lot of ways. We’re using it for our company wiki to keep everything on our policies and processes organized and in one place. We’ve also used it for performance reviews and to find information during a recent compliance audit. I think the org chart is probably what excites our employees most when they first see ChartHop. Going forward, I’d like to use the headcount planning capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ChartHop?

ChartHop is absolutely critical to us. It’s a huge time saver and ensures we’re on top of everything. Thanks to ChartHop, we’re not in out-of-control spreadsheets. It’s our source of truth that allows us to be completely accurate. Because of that, we have more time to be proactive and strategic versus constantly reacting to changes happening throughout the company.

What really sets ChartHop apart is the ability to mold it to whatever you want it to be. We can make ChartHop ours by updating surveys however we want, collecting whatever data we want in a variety of ways, and the list goes on. There’s just not another solution out there that can do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartHop?

There’s a lot you can do with ChartHop out of the box, but if you want to really configure it to specific situations, there’s a learning curve for admins in terms of how to best do that. But once you do it, you can totally flourish with ChartHop and really do anything you want quickly and easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use ChartHop across the board for pretty much every aspect of our People team work. We run performance and employee engagement surveys in ChartHop, we use it for new hire onboarding, and we use it for our comp cycle (and I can’t imagine what a headache that would be if it were in spreadsheets).

On top of that, one of the biggest problems ChartHop solves for us is headcount planning. We use ChartHop Scenarios all the time across the People, TA, and Finance teams to plan for changes, see what’s been approved, and then kick off recruitment where needed. It really helps us keep track of the details and helps with cross-team harmony because the alignment is just kind of automatic rather than relying on a human being to remember to communicate every single change. What do you like best about ChartHop?

I like that you use the products in the tool that you need but you don't need to use the whole suite (or pay for it) if you won't get value from it or if you already have other systems supporting the business in that role.

Customer Service is excellent and responsive.

Supports us managing merit cycles across the world in an easy to use way and make a complex process much easier.

Finding ways to automate and simplify processes between existing systems has been a huge win for us. We were also able to consolidate some of other systems as ChartHop got further integrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartHop?

The upside is the customization. The downside is the customization.

You need someone on your team who is going to understand the technical side of the system and how it works. For executives low on detail, they can get frustrated by the complexity of their own enviornments and the trade offs for giving them 'exactly what they want'. I recommend trying to influence internal teams on making it as simple as possible to operate and use.

Dashboarding and reporting feels like it could be improved somewhat to have pre-built boards that incorporate all their features that make it a little more plug and play for teams starting out with the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helping us to streamline and control processes, have more information about our people data and keep track of headcount across our finance and HR teams.

The OrgChart tool has become a daily use system for our HR teams working with leaders.

The Merit planning tool allows us to coordinate and manage across 16 countries and currencies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ChartHop?

We like that ChartHop allows us to customize reporting, dashboards, and actions and houses all of our employee data in an employee-facing system. It has also been a tremendous help that we can conduct our performance and compensation reviews in ChartHop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ChartHop?

There are system limitations with ChartHop and how it flows/speaks to ADP (our HRIS). This has sometimes created additional work for our team, but the result is always good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ChartHop solving and how is that benefiting you?

ChartHop has allowed us to:

- Push our data to one place (personal, performance, compensation, equity, etc.) and be able to create any reporting our organization needs

- Perform all annual reviews in one place

- Build dashboards to evaluate our data and plan for current and future business needs

- Give employees full access to their own employment information and learn more about their peers who are distributed throughout the world Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
