BambooHR has been an amazing platform for our company of about 25 people who use the system daily. We went from a paper-based system to their online program, and I can't say enough about how it has increased the efficiency of time off processes and supported how we run performance management for our employees. The approval process for reviews is terrible! HR should able to audit and approve reviews, as well as more than one person in management chain. Also, managers cannot see an employee's self evaluation until the manager has written and submitted the employee's review. I've never had this in any tool I've used for reviews in my 20 plus years of HR. I like that I can view my pay details including what's taken out for taxes and my tax forms. I was able to get my W2 directly off of BambooHR which was helpful. I also really like being able to see who is off that day and upcoming company holidays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the tabs for Home, My Info, People, and Files. I wish that they were buttons that could be scrolled over to reveal a drop-down menu that shows all the different pages that can be found in those tabs and that you could select one of those pages from the drop-down menu to immediately be redirected to that page. There are some limitations, particularly for managers overseeing other employees. Certain features seem a bit limited in terms of functionality, and it would be beneficial to have more robust options for managerial tasks. Example the ability for part-time staff to report to more than one person. This aspect can sometimes hinder the seamless management of teams and employee-related processes. BambooHR puts everything in one place. I now have one platform where I can go to get all the information I need both as the HR Manager and as an employee. My favorite part of BambooHR is the Performance module. We launced that this last review period and I can't believe how much time it has savied me and the managers. Honestly, there is not much to dislike. Originally we didn't want to use the Performacnce module because we were mot able to customize it to our needs but BambooHR made some changes last year and now I don't know how we lived without it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
