What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

What I like best about ADP Workforce Now is having payroll, HR, time tracking, and benefits in one system. Running payroll across multiple entities and states is straightforward, and the automatic tax filings and compliance updates save me a lot of time. The reporting tools make it easy to pull payroll registers, PTO balances, and audit reports. What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

What I dislike about ADP Workforce Now is that the interface can feel outdated and isn’t always intuitive. Some tasks take too many clicks, and finding certain settings or reports takes time until you learn where everything is. Custom reports have a learning curve. Customer support can also be slow, and you don’t always get the same representative, so you have to explain the issue again. Pricing isn’t very transparent, and add-on features can raise the cost. ADP Workforce Now solves the problem of managing payroll, HR, and compliance across separate systems. Before, tracking employee data, time, and tax filings meant using spreadsheets and different tools, which led to errors and extra work. Now everything is in one place. Payroll runs faster and more accurately, tax filings and compliance updates are handled automatically, and reports are easy to pull for management and audits. The main thing I disliked was that resolving complex payroll, tax, or technical issues often meant working through tier-one representatives who didn’t have deep system knowledge. I was running a fragmented stack—using one tool or spreadsheet for hours and job timecards, another for cutting checks, paper or separate web forms for onboarding documents, and external portals for health or retirement benefits. Moving data between all of these systems led to errors, duplicate entries, and endless reconciliations.

How It Benefits Me:

What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

The most helpful aspect of ADP Workforce Now is that everything is centralized. We use Payroll, Benefit Time & Attendance, Talent - Performance Database, Compensation Database and Recruitment. What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

Areas such as Time Off and Talent, the tool doesn't let you customize like I want it to. For example, Time Off doesn't stop the employee from going over their accrued hours if they are in between service levels. It allows them to go up to the service level causing overages. What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

What I like most about ADP is that it’s a platform where I can find all the tools needed for centralized personnel management and HR in one place, without relying on third-party tools, which makes it easier to integrate information. The day by day use is easy because you use the same user interface for different services in the same topic.

What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

The worst aspect of ADP, in my experience, is its graphical interface. The UI feels old and dated, which is probably meant to preserve familiarity for long-time users. Still, it would be worth considering two options: one that keeps the classic design and another with a more modern look, so users can choose the version they prefer.

ADP Workforce Now has helped us centralize and simplify how we manage our 300 employees. Before we started using the platform, many HR and payroll processes were handled manually, and information was scattered across multiple systems.

Since adopting ADP Workforce Now, we’ve been able to automate key areas like payroll, employee data management, time and attendance, leave requests, and general HR administration. As a result, we do far less manual data entry, make fewer mistakes, and save our HR team a significant amount of time.

What do you like best about ADP Workforce Now?

I find ADP Workforce Now stable and easy to use for our users. I appreciate the customization options and flexibility it offers. The reporting and dashboards are excellent, providing clear insights. The time and attendance modules work well, making scheduling straightforward. I like the ADP mobile app, especially for approving vacation and time-off requests. The learning and development modules integrate easily with LMS software. The employment profile dashboard is simple and user-friendly. What do you dislike about ADP Workforce Now?

I think the learning management system could be improved, and the recruitment module as well, along with utilization of AI. There are still a lot of manual processes involved in recruitment module which creates extra time and manual non-ADP adjustements. In terms of scheduling and sending out administration tasks, these could probably be easier to set up in the ADP system with improvements. The integration and use of AI in their reporting functions, dashboards, and analytics modules aren't as robust as they could be and the AI assessment tool for a canadidate resume isn't something you can rely on for accurate screening. ADP has solved a lot of issue related to the training module. Specifically createing a MGR dashboard for their managers and the option to notify/remind them of their trainings is a benefit. What I love most about ADP Workforce Now is how dependable it is as our central hub. The interface is really intuitive—employees can handle their own time off requests, pay stubs, and personal info updates without constantly bugging HR. It runs fast, and it works seamlessly with our accounting and time-tracking tools. Right from the start, their onboarding and support teams have been super responsive. ADP is extreme non-user friendly on the admin side. I have spent weeks and months of my time trying to get answers from support while they ignore you, claim to get back to you and don't, simply do not know how to change a setting on their own product, and the list goes on.
