What do you like best about BambooHR?

BambooHRs HRIS (Human Resources Information System) is user friendly and gets the job done. The team assigned to help with implementation was knowledgable about the features offered by BambooHR. I use BambooHR on a daily basis and while I am well acquanited with the various features every now and then I do have to contact customer support. The BambooHR support heroes (as they are referred to) are very professional, helpful, and the response times are great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BambooHR?

BambooHR should consider revamping reports to ensure that they are consistent across the board. For example, some reports pull preferred names while others pull legal names and because they are hard coded into the sytsem there is no way to change this feature. If a report requires legal names (like the timesheet report for example) and it's pulling preferred names it can be tricky to complete V-lookups which does make admin jobs harder. BambooHR's timesheet report also deletes the historical information for terminated or inactive employees. Additionally, while BambooHR offers an Affordable Care Act report and solution, it is not helfpul at all and needs a lot of revamping (just something to consider if you are interested in this feature). What do you like best about BambooHR?

The system's robust reporting tools. BambooHR allows for the creation of customizable reports that cater to our specific needs. Whether it's tracking employee performance, monitoring leave balances, or analyzing turnover rates, the software provides comprehensive and real-time insights. What do you dislike about BambooHR?

The payroll module is not tailored for our region (GCC) so we cannot integrate it. Because of massive time difference, it would be amazing to have local support, but then again we've rarely ever needed support because the product is virtually flawless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is BambooHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

The self-service capabilities of BambooHR have significantly reduced the administrative burden on our HR department. Employees can easily access and update their personal information, submit time-off requests, and view company policies through the employee self-service portal. What do you like best about BambooHR?

Having employee files and company files centralized in one location. The reporting features (i.e., turnover, headcount, EEO-1 reporting etc. ) are invaluable. I couldn't imagine gathering all the data required to file an EE0-1 report. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BambooHR?

While BambooHR has been a great addition, I've noticed when you attend a Bamboo sponsored events it triggers information sharing with add-on vendors, which I'm not a big fan of.

This is more of a suggestion that a dislike, but I wish they would bring back their annual conference. It was a great experience, and the speakers were fabulous. I think it really got everyone excited about Bamboo and created a network betwen users.

At the end of the day, BambooHR remains a great system and I would highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BambooHR?

The BambooHR prototype makes it simple for users of different categories to navigate and manage HR administration tasks without the need for any technology. The product in question offers a vast array of people skills comprising of adding employees, performance monitoring and checking off hours. Also, in tantra as a worker we can examine or match casualties and more. The use of mobile in BambooHR HR administration allows users to access and manage HR administration work from wherever they are, providing convenience and flexibility to busy professionals. BambooHR costing can present a bit of a challenge, especially for younger companies with limited funds. Its costing layout may not be correct for companies with smaller staffs. BambooHR's reporting capabilities are limited, specifically with regard to customized or data-specific information. BambooHR's occasional glitches or technical errors can cause difficulties. What do you like best about BambooHR?

What I like best about BambooHR for my part is the ease of requesting leave via the platform without having to run to my manager for approval, I do it via the platform without having to speak to her. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One good feature of BambooHR is the seamless tracking of assets and resources assigned to each employee, allowing for efficient maintenance of their current status. This feature not only enhances organizational transparency but also contributes to optimal resource utilization.

A great feature that we use in our company's utilization of BambooHR is the Employee Net Promoter Score (E-NPS). This discrete metric serves as a valuable tool, offering insights into the sentiments of our workforce. By gauging how employees feel about their workplace, E-NPS provides top executives with valuable data for strategic decision-making and fostering a positive company culture. This feature is used quite frequently in the organisation, to keep track of EQ of our employees.

E-nps, Assets management, attendence tracking, onboarding tasks assignement and tracking, leaves etc. are the region where we are using BambooHR and it is a great benefit to us. What do you like best about BambooHR?

The ability to create and publish our job postings through BambooHR, follow a candidate through the interview process all the way to hiring and then have the added benefits of having their PTO, vacation, insurance benefits, etc. all tracked in one system is incredible. We do have some challenges with the PTO and vacation tracking since we are a seasonal business and our "season" starts in April, so maximum accruals and maximum use in a year are more challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
