We just switched from Advantage to Pro. I use it every day. I have yet to explore all the features, but there are many new options available. Looking forward to digging in. One of the things I like the most about BambooHR is its user-friendliess. Cusomer service is typically friendly and they get you an answer quickly. Everything is pretty straightforward. My one wish would be for Bamboo to automate more prcesses (such as 401k direct transfer, imputed income calculations, etc.) Our time is valuable and the more time that can be saved, the better for the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BambooHR has it all! I love how it pulls everything together in one platform! It is so hard to say which part of the platform is the best. However, I would have to say the Performance piece of the platform has been the biggest game changer for our team. The only thing I would say I don't like about BambooHR is that there is not a gross up or pay estimate calculator within the platform itself. This would be great to have so we could calculate gross-up pay by employee as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the automation and streamlining of the platform. I was able to build out things like on- and off-boarding tasks, the hiring process, performance management, and company performance. This leads to reporting abilities that we didn't have prior to using the platform.
I work for an entrepreneur with multiple businesses. I love that we can house each company's HR needs in 1 platform. I can toggle between companies, location, hire date and more without jumping into different company platforms.
Payroll is straightforward and convenient. We added this on after using the platform for other needs and I'm so happy we added it. It's much easier for me to access 1 platform for all our HR needs.
Implementation was easy at the beginning and each time we've added a new feature or company, Bamboo made the transitiion easy by offering checklists and support.
Customer service is SO NICE. I swear the main hiring criteria must be "nice." My issues/ errors haven't always been easy ones, but customer service followed through with every request.
The Bamboo Community page was a recent add that we can't live without now. We use it to send, organize, and house company annoucements. We have many groups in this feature so getting information out to our team members is quick and easy to access later.
Since we started with Bamboo HR, we've also added additional software applications that link to Bamboo- taking even more off my plate by automating. We use a background check application and an employeeing gifting platform that "talk" with Bamboo. I'm always on the hunt for more automation and streamlining. Bamboo HR has really enhanced this and given me more time to work on the executive level tasks I can't automate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Human Resource can become overwhleming with everything it entails. Bamboo allows us to have everything in one place and easily accessible. It has relieved me of a lot of tedius tasks that takes up so much time. I love the signature and forms feature that allows us to send documents to our employees, once they sign the document is automatically filed in their personnel file. The hiring and onboarding process has become much more streamlined and has taken a load off of my shoulders. The customer support from Bamboo HR always comes through with prompt response and very friendly demeanor. The only drawback we've experienced is with the time clock feature. It can be a bit glitchy at times, failing to properly clock employees in or out, which results in a lot of manual corrections. While the location stamp feature is a great tool, it has been acting up lately, inaccurately stamping employees at locations different from where they actually are. BambooHR is has been very easy to us. I like that the database makes it a easier to manage my HR processes, especially when onboarding new hires. It helps us to streamline the process with the customizable workflows and automatic opitions, making it less time-consuming for HR teams. I dislike that employees can't easily see how much PTO they've accumulated, it can lead to confusion or questions that HR has to field. It’s definitely an important feature for employee transparency and satisfaction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customizability (is that a word?) of reports is really nice. Anything you want to know about any of the data you have... filterable, editable and with a few output format options, I have found running any number of reports has been immensely helpful - in Payroll as well as HR.
BambooHR is also very user-friendly and intuitive. Whatever I think I should click on or wherver I think I should go to do a thing, that's where it is.

This seems unfair of me because BambooHR is more affordable than other HRIS software. But the "add-ons" feel nickel-and-dime. One of the things I was looking forward to the most was assistance with open enrollment, only to discover we didn't purchase that add-on. By the time we would purchase all the add-ons, the cost would rival superior programs. But this could also be a perk of BambooHR for companies that only need stripped-down versions. We like the functionality it provides for tracking paid time off as well as the onboarding process. Prior to Bamboo, we were tracking all of that on paper and keeping checklists. Bamboo provided us a one stop shop that all of our office employees can access. It is also a great tool for our employees as they can have all of their information right in their phone. I really haven't found any so far. There are a few limitations, such as a direct download of the journal entry into Quickbooks or other Accounting software, but overall, I haven't found many dislikes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

the customer service. It is very difficult to get someone to speak to. when i need 1 to 1 support I have to sen lots of emails with follow up questions from support before i can get help. I appreciate its ease of use, its well-roundedness with respect to HR and all that encompasses, the data it keeps and makes available to me in a variety of ways. I love how it populates my coming payroll with all the information I need, which saves me a great deal of time. Their customer service function is wonderful, always available when I need help, though their Bamboo Help Center is very comprehensive and easy to follow.
