What I like most about BambooHR is its comprehensive employee information management. It consolidates contracts, hiring documents, personal details including blood type and emergency contacts, and even t-shirt sizes. The platform provides clear visibility into job titles, organizational hierarchy, and essential dates. I wish BambooHR was integrated with other applications. Sometimes, finding and navigating the information can be a bit difficult, especially if you aren't 100% familiar with the software. I like that there are a lot of different things that can be done in Bamboo. It's easy to access on your computer or phone, bamboo chat is helpful, and I like all of the information available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I used to maintain all employee information in a multitude of Excel spreadsheets - emergency contacts, assets, certifications, expiration dates of documents, phone #s, benefit enrollment. I have NO more spreadsheets for employee data!

Onboarding also made my life so much easier. The ability to assign onboarding (and offboarding) tasks to other team members has saved me so much time. Everytime we think of something new we want to do during Onboarding, we simply add it to the checklist so we never miss that step in the future.

In 2023, we implemented payroll through BambooHR. We had a horrible experience with a prior platform so we headed into this project a bit apprehensive. We were overly thrilled that the transition has been so smooth. We completed our first year using payroll and we'll never go back to in-house!

BambooHR support team has been so efficient and helpful. When I reach out with a RARE issue, or a question or suggestion, I hear back within 24 hours, often same day.

Every time I hear someone complaining about how to track something, or they can't easily access some bit of employee data, I give them a quick overview of BambooHR. I'd be curious how many people have made the switch based on the excitement I express when talking about your program.

I can't 'onboard' an employee twice. So if they leave and come back, I need to go into the onboarding checklist and uncheck all the tasks we need to complete again. Even more frequently needed is the ability to 'onboard' someone into a new position. Someone that moves from production into sales has completely different onboarding tasks. BambooHR is a fabulous product! It helps our small team do HR well. It's intuitive and easy for the Admin and our employees to use. We use it daily for time tracking, payroll, benefits administration, and performance management. I love having one source of truth for everything HR.

The implementation team was top-notch and guided us step by step through the process. It was a smooth transition to BambooHR. I also appreciate that BambooHR is constantly improving and adding features that make HR easier. I wish BambooHR would integrate directly with our accounting software (Sage Intacct). We can import payroll data via a CSV file, but having the integration would save time and keep everything seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the layout of Bamboo. We work in the construction industry which means that employees aren't always at their desk or have access to a laptop or computer. With BambooHR, our field employees can do most everything we ask of them through the BambooHR app on their phones. BambooHR is very user friendly, easy to navigate and manage, and their support team is usually quite helpful when we have a question or request. I also love that they recently added text messaging as an option for the 2 factor authentication because our employees didn't love having an authenicator app on their phones. I also really like the applicant tracking system (ATS) on Bamboo. I love that with the click of a couple buttons I can have a job published on our website, Glassdoor, Indeed, and Ziprecruiter without ever leaving the BambooHR page. One thing I dislike about BambooHR is some things are not at customizable as we'd like, but without creating our own software we can't have eveything we want all in one! I will say to counter that, we've asked to add fields to some tabs and they have been able to display those fields which has been helpful. Sometimes Bamboo has some funky glitches, but you'll see bugs with any app or software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For the most part, the platform is an all-encompassing solution to an organized HR solution. It is also extremely user friendly, easy-to-use and intuitive to the users.

We have had great support from the Bamboo HR Team on setup and general inquiries, with quick and detailed responses.

Wish it had an already included integrated scheduling solution.

Some of the org chart structures create issues internally with user ability to customize access levels. Would love to make the org chart structure customizable to allow for diffentiation.

Lastly, the schedule our team uses begins/ends on abnormal dates; also we give employees unlimited PTO, but paid overtime. Again, further customizable options on the payroll side would be fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the fact that BambooHR is constantly adding new products and features for its users. They take feedback and suggestions and I've seen them make real changes. They're constantly evolving and growing which is huge. They even provide professional development opportunities with their HR Heroes community, webinars and more! It's extrememly user friendly - our employees tell me how they like that it's simple and straightforward. As an administrator, it's easy to use, and if I can't figure something out the customer care team is always so helpful. I could go on and on about how much I love Bamboo... The only thing I wish BambooHR could add is a feature to directly "text" candidates when hiring, and direct messaging with employees. It would be nice to not have to give out my direct phone number to applicants (especially ones we don't hire). That is truly my one thing that could be improved at this time!
