Its super easy to use, keep track of things, use as an employee document storage, and run reports. Its very user friendly and our employees love being able to find all their information in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The customer support is not always the fastest to get back to you. We recently implemented the 'Benefits' piece of BambooHR and we've had a few kinks to work out for far. It works well, but not as user friendly as the rest of BambooHR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that BambooHR keeps all of our personnel files secure. We no longer have file cabinets full of files, and our employees have easy access to salary information and benefits. The implementation was quick and painless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There aren't too many things to dislike about BambooHR except that I can't get report headers. It's frustrating to run a report for a certain date period, and it shows the date you ran the report, not the time period covered on the report. This should be an easy fix. We have been using BambooHR for a few years now and it has helped us exponentially. It saves us time, energy and money and helps us to be more innovative about our employee's HR experience. Bamboo is very easily to navigate and is clearly laid out so you know where to find what information and it is displayed very clearly. It is easy to update employee information and the hiring function is very useful as you can link it to online hiring platforms.

My biggest complaint about Banboo is not that the help centre is based in the States and it can take some time to resolve queries.

Bamboo HR is a GAME CHANGER!! As a small business owner, I don't have a lot of time to figure out software programs and make them work for me. With BambooHR, that is not needed! It is so easy to use!! They have amazing customer service with most special requests getting implemented immediately. Seriously I don't know what I did before BambooHR! I use ALL of their modules daily -- HR, payroll, performance, benefits, time tracking, and I'm super excited to start using the two new pieces -- total rewards and employee community! The number one thing that is making me write this review is Bamboo's response to customer feedback. They actually listen! So many things I've suggested are now available! Great job Bamboo! I cannot think of any downsides of BambooHR. I would like to see them add a customizable staff scheduling feature, and I'd also like to see more cutomizable access levels. Right now, some things are only allowed for "full admin users," but I'd like to be able to give bits and pieces of full admin status to different individuals. It's incredibly user-friendly, and it keeps everything our team needs to access all in one place regarding internal management. I love the ability to add Performance milestones to track, leave peer reviews anonymously directly in the platform, and it's so easy to request time off or review and sign new internal documents. What I dislike about BambooHR is that when an employee's time-off policy is changed, the previous policy is removed from their view. I believe it would be beneficial to retain access to past policies for both employees and administrators. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
