BambooHR is your one stop shop for all things HR and payroll. Being able to easily manage benefits and open enrollment, as well keep payroll data all within the same software has been so nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We pay our owners quarterly via guaranteed payment without withholding taxes. To my knowledge, there is not a way to pay them through BambooHR without generating a W2, as they are K-1. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Being based outside of the US, I find alot of the functionality is very US-centric, e.g. to record sick leave the way we wanted here in the UK required us to set it up as a complex custom fields arrangement. It is also frustrating employees can't hold more than one role at a time - my employer has a lot of part time staff who have more than one role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From my perspective, this is one of the easiest HRIS and ATS to learn and use. Many of the features are automated and integrate seamlessly, and any skill level can use this system with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a recruiter, I do wish their applicant tracking system was more robust in some areas (interview scorecards, hiding feedback until all parties have submitted, more robust email features, etc). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's easy to navigate. Employees feel it's easy to enter time, see balances, etc. It makes sense, you don't have to dig around to find information, it's just there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

employees cannot request a document if they move to a different state, there should be a link from the ATS as soon as they are hired the information that is on the ATS should be transferred to their Profile or be linked in some way. to be able to communicate better through the platform and make it more user friendly as much as it is on your computer it should be the same as your mobile phone. The implementation should be a little more detailed. and we should be able to communicate with customer support through chat. more integration with different communication platforms. Have different features in the automated emails and be able to change the approval person with out having to make the employee resend it, because of those issues the employees do not really use bamboohr Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
BambooHR has a good user experience platform with helpful customizations for reporting and tracking employee information. I've rarely needed to reach out to customer support but when I have they've been prompt and helpful. The initial setup was pretty straightforward and it didn't take long to understand the interface. The feedback/reviews system is too rigid for our needs. The timeframes (windows) for people to provide feedback in not flexible, and it also doesn't allow people to save their work and come back to it. I like being able to keep digital copies of all employee information on the same platform instead of keeping paper records. I also highly value their customer service representative's commitment to excellent. It is extremely user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Customer support doesn't help much over chat anymore, long tedious process over email now. They changed the structure of the packages, so now all of a sudden we will no longer receive any product updates or new features unless we pay even more money. Benefits don't integrate with very many carriers, so we have to continue to use a 3rd party for our benefits administration site. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
