BambooHR is a centralized place for all of my HRIS, benefits, payroll, HCM, recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, performance management needs and then some. I love how it all interacts/integrates and is extremely intuitive. Implementation was long, but very well structured which made things smooth as we went through the process. Any time I have or have had a question, they are super on the ball with responding and being of assistance. BambooHR is a tool that I use on a daily basis for multiple reasons and it always delivers! Ease of use. None of our staff have had issues accessing what they need to within Bamboo at any point. They love the time tracking feature. HR support seems very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Payroll & Time Tracking don't fully integrate. We were told they did and that, after explaining the complexities associated with non-profit accounting and payroll, that we would be able to download a single report to import ot QBO. This is not the case. We have to compile 3 separate reports to get all the info we need. When we requested a meeting with Payroll Support to discuss building a single report that would take some of the workload off my plate, we were told they "don't meet with people." Not very supportive. Payroll support has also be incredibly less responsive than HR Support. We have been asking for a while if there could be an option to make Project Tracking mandatory for time-sheet entries as that would also reduce our work-load. BambooHR also appears to have messed up something during our import process which has cost of significant extra time in correcting and issing appropriate documents. I would further advise including things like Caps for Benefits items like IRAs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use Bamboo HR every day. Two things I like most about Bamboo HR is the ease of use. For the entire employee life cycle employees find it intuitive. Secondly, the number of integrations that are available and are easily implemented. Customer support is always helpfull to work out any problems in a friendly professional manner. Excellent for automating HR processes, as it facilitates the management of days off, incidents, vacations or any eventuality about employees.
It is also incredible to be able to perform training within the platform and keep our employees updated and prepared is something that is not seen in other platforms, document control is also easier, since Bamboo allows to have the files of each of the employees securely and easily accessible to the employee and the employer.
It is also possible to have access to the company's organization chart and calendar for consultation and thus to know the organization's time and availability of employees.
the implementation was incredibly easy, since the access and use is very intuitive for the employees, so the adaptation of its use is very fast.
Support has also helped us when we want to update or configure something, which is very useful because it adapts to the needs and changes of the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It seems to me that the only feedback is that it would be great to receive reminders if for some reason managers forget or miss their team's request emails for vacation days and/or time off so they don't stay on the platform as pending for a long time, but can be reminded until the request is accepted or rejected. Because this is a US-based company, support can only be reached during US business hours and not NZ business hours. There is a delay in support response time as a result of this.

* Seriously.. who knew an HR platform could be 'FUN'? :) There are little quips when you receive certain email notifications (such as 'alright! go check it out' when a file being shared with you), or when receiving email reminders, they don't feel like 'nagging', but instead modern & 'human'. Those little touches make a difference!
* The app was VERY easy to learn & maneuvre through. Although I'm still learning (there are so many MORE fun pockets that I haven't even EXPLORED yet!), the format is VERY user-friendly, as well as appealing to the eye!
* When moving over from our previous platform, there was a concern with the change, as with any change! But there was absolutely nothing to worry about, with BambooHR.. it was such a smooth transition.
* I personally use BambooHR net for work timesheet entries, time off requests, document uploads, and contact information; as well as using the People & Files tab, when necessary. (How great to be able to search the Directory for co-workers I haven't been introduced to yet! :)) I also appreciate the tab for any Training reminders as well! The platform also makes it super simple to change any personal information, as needed along the way! (the process we had before was much more in-depth & involved more parties, than just this simple 'click of a button'!)
* BambooHR feels very 'personalized' and I have no doubt that Customer Service Support would feel the same when or if I need to utilize them! <3
* I LOVE how 'there's an app for that!' - it's so convenient when you're not at work, but are needing to schedule or view an element of BambooHR, via mobile!
* You can also feel rest-assured with your privacy, with their two-factor authentication, which is an added bonus.

I haven't found anything 'not' helpful with BambooHR.. in fact, it was more a question of 'wow this system is great.. why didn't we switch SOONER?!' lol Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI/UX was pretty good. It was fairly intuitive and well laid out. There were some areas that were harder to navigate as a manager, like how to access your team and then individual team member data quickly, but overall it was not a detriment. I like the pay tab and how all my financial stuff is listed out. I like the org chart features. And it was a very light lift in terms of implementing it and learning to use it as a company. It is lacking a great deal of robust heavy duty features from what I can tell. For instance, it could use features to allow for 1:1 notes and progress tracking. OKR inputs and metrics are lacking. Integrations are lacking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is clean and pleasant to look at. It is eay to navigate, with a dashboard that has everything at a quick glance. I can quickly find contact information for any employee, and the employee org chart is especially helpful in a growing company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The company calendar needs its own widget on the dashboard. Currently it is a little difficult to find, as there is only a small link under Who's Out widget. Other than that, I have no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We utulize the platform daily and the monitoring of staffing request is helpful. The data driven platform is easy to create reports needed to remain in our program compliance. Specialized fields help performance for record upkeeping on real time deadlines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ATS has made my job so much easier. I went from stacks of resumes and endless emails flying back and forth to everything in one location and easy collaboration with my hiring managers. We're able to move much faster on good candidates and it's also very easy to communicate with all of my candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The system can be tough to navigate after implementation. I'm having to teach myself a lot of more advanced features and that has lead to some growing pain that I feel is unnecessary. Help resources are out there, but they're not always easy to find. Online chat help never seems to work because it gets shut down during high volume periods.
