BambooHR makes recruiting, onboarding and offboarding so easy. It has streamlined our HR processes and payroll dramatically. It is intuitive and a true time saver. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Rehiring employees is a royal pain. You cannot create rehire offer letters. This has to be done manually through Adobe Sign and then uploaded to Bamboo HR. Re-Onboarding is a time consuming drudgery of a task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Not really anything. I guess when they updated the system, there really wasn't any heads up or "hey, here's what changed" - that I remember. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are several things I like about BambooHR. One of them being the user-friendly interface. Navigating through the system is easy and all of the graphics and eye catching. All of the sections are clearly marked and easily accessible.

The variety of tasks that can be accomplished with BambooHR is great to have a central location for all employees to access.

PTO tracking is probably the most used feature. All hours are clearly categorized and summed up so that each employee and their managers are always aware of the amount of hours each employee has.

We also post and track job listings through Bamboo. All of the categories make it super easy to stay organized with the candidates and where they are in the review, interview and hiring process.

Overall, I think BambooHR has a great user-friendly system and useful features for Managers and employees. This is a great tool and I would definitely recommend for other businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One area in BambooHR that is not our favorite is their Time Clock. It is nice that they offer time tracking, but their system seems a bit more limited than what we need.

Our company allows two 10 minute breaks that are paid, and BambooHR doesn't really allow us to track these properly.

However, if your company doesn't do this, BambooHR time clock system is great and would be a useful add-on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part about BambooHR for me is the ease of use as a new HR professional, in a solo HR department. Everything is in one place, works together, and makes it super easy for employees and myself to use. On top of that, it's extremely customizable and easy to implement. Anytime I've needed help, we've gotten a response right away. I know who my sales rep is for upgrades and integrations, and can always reach out to her and know I'll get an accurate answer, quickly. They're constantly growing - which is a great thing - but also leads to frustrations with integrations, not understanding new features, and trying to get staff and employees bought in to upgrades, new features, etc... especially when the help sections don't necessarily get updated as quick as the software. Most helpful feature of BambooHR is its intuitive employee self-service portal, which streamlines time-off requests and personal information updates. Limited customization options for certain reports and workflows. Downsides include potential challenges with integrating it seamlessly with other systems and occasional limitations in advanced analytics, which might require additional tools or manual workarounds. I do not like that different support heros will have different answeres, however, they are all super kind.

I dont like that there is basically not support when it comes to the fact we have employees in multiple states, every other HRIS has options available to us.
