"Clean, Fast, and Easy to Use—with Great Integrations and Responsive Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Very clean UI that’s easy to navigate, and the filters are straightforward to use. It supports integrations with Sales Navigator and CRM tools. I also love the quick results and the performance of their extension. Pricing feels reasonable, and the support team is responsive as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

It doesn’t integrate with Gong or other outreach tools, which makes it tricky to use when I need to build and run quick sequences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great experience with apollo"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo’s new AI features actually make day-to-day outbound much easier. Researching prospects, writing personalized emails, and building outreach sequences now takes a fraction of the time compared to doing it manually.

What I like most is that everything happens in one place — the AI helps you understand accounts and create relevant outreach without jumping between tools. It feels less like automation and more like having a sales assistant.

Overall, a really solid upgrade that saves time and helps teams move faster. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

One area where Apollo could improve is the number of paywalls across the platform — many useful features feel locked behind upgrades, which can interrupt workflow and experimentation, especially for smaller teams.

I also experienced friction with the email connection setup. The process wasn’t as smooth as expected, and I ultimately had to export leads and use another tool for outreach. Improving email integration reliability and simplifying setup would make the platform much more seamless end-to-end.

Overall, Apollo is powerful, but reducing upgrade friction and improving core integrations would significantly improve the user experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Huge Dataset, But Data Quality Needs Improvement"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Their dataset is one of the largest on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

After debouncing, the data quality is an issue around 40%–45% of the data ends up getting deleted. The UI stucks sometimes while dealing with large datasets. Also you get only one free onboarding call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Boosts Lead Mapping with Ease, Needs Contact Accuracy"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I usually use Apollo.io to build a list of cold leads and for marketing. It helps me in mapping a highly accurate lead database, eliminating a lot of my time and efforts in sourcing contact details. Apollo.io bridges the gap between finding contact details for my cold email and call outreach. The best part is that it overlays on my LinkedIn profile, which is very helpful for not just finding the contact details but also helping me to add contacts easily. The initial setup was very easy, and I didn't face any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

A lot of time it happens that outdated contact details are mentioned which is usually a pain point for me. It has to be looked after. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Great Equalizer: Enterprise Power for the Agile Team"
4/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Apollo.io is a powerhouse for teams that need to find and reach customers without a massive budget. It brings elite data and automation to smaller companies.

### UI / UX and Onboarding

Apollo acts as a single hub for sales. It eliminates tool sprawl by keeping leads, emails, and tracking in one place. The Chrome extension is a standout feature, allowing you to pull data directly from LinkedIn. While the dashboard can feel a bit crowded because it does so much, the onboarding is fast enough that most people are sending their first emails within an afternoon.

### Performance and Integrations

The search filters are incredibly precise. You can find leads based on the software they use, recent job changes, or even buying intent. It plugs directly into Salesforce and HubSpot to keep your CRM updated. The data is generally reliable, though international coverage and phone numbers sometimes need a second look before you commit to a big campaign.

### Pricing and ROI

This is where the platform really wins. It offers a generous free tier and affordable monthly plans that give small teams the same data access as large corporations. The ROI comes from operational efficiency; you are automating the manual grunt work of prospecting so your team can focus on actually closing deals.

### AI and Intelligence

The AI features act like a digital co-pilot. They help draft personalized emails, score your leads, and even summarize your sales calls. This ensures your outreach feels like a helpful, contextual conversation rather than a generic cold blast, which is essential for standing out in a crowded inbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

While Apollo.io is powerful, it has several friction points that can slow a team down.

### UI / UX and Onboarding

The platform is feature-rich, which often makes the interface feel cluttered and overwhelming. For new users, navigating the sheer number of tabs and settings can be a steep climb. Without structured onboarding, it is easy to get lost in the configuration menus before you even send your first email.

### Performance and Integrations

While the database is massive, data hygiene is a common frustration. You will often encounter "bounced" emails or outdated phone numbers, especially outside the US. Additionally, while the integrations with CRMs like Salesforce are deep, they can be finicky to set up. If not mapped correctly, you risk creating duplicate records or messy data across your systems.

### Pricing and ROI

Apollo uses a credit-based system that can feel restrictive. Because you "pay" to export or view contact details, costs can spike quickly if your team is doing high-volume prospecting. For smaller businesses, managing these credit limits requires constant monitoring to ensure you are getting a clear return on your investment.

### Support and AI

Direct support is often gated behind higher-tier plans, leaving smaller users to rely on self-service documentation. On the AI front, while the writing tools are helpful, they can sometimes produce generic or repetitive copy. If you don't carefully edit the AI-generated emails, your outreach can easily end up looking like obvious automation, which hurts your response rates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Data and Email Automation Backed by Extensive Training"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Access to a huge wealth of data with a toolset that allows a targeted list to be generated and a sequence of emails to be automated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The product has so many features it requires quite a lot of education to get the best from it. There's a constant feeling you're not using more than a small percentage of the capabilities. Apollo run a large amount of education, but the fact that this is required is my only dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Apollo.io has just got better and better."
5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Since I first started using Apollo.io many enhancements have been added to the application. The overall system is now very powerful and improves the day-to-day efficiency of my work. The contacts database is now even easier to access and search to find a whole host of contact details. There are many features which I do not currently use, however, knowing that they are there and ready to use gives me confidence that I will stay with this product for the foreseeable future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

I would be great if there was an additional user subscription level which allowed a very basic access at a much reduced cost. This is because I only get involved in freelance work now (as I'm retired) and do not need to use much of the available functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Prospecting Platform for Daily Use"
5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

What I like best about Apollo.io is its Ease of Use and Ease of Implementation, it’s intuitive to get started without a steep learning curve. My Frequency of Use is extremely frequently because it combines a large number of features, from prospecting to outreach, in a single platform. The integrations are straightforward, which makes it easy to fit into existing workflows, and customer support has been responsive when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

What I dislike about Apollo.io is the duplication of companies and contacts across different filters, which can make list-building inefficient. Additionally, data accuracy has been a challenge. So far, roughly a third of the contact information I’ve used has been invalid, which impacts outreach effectiveness and requires extra manual verification. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Finding the right contacts is easier with Powerful filters"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

In my daily work, I handle nutrition consultations, manage clinic operations, and also work on health education content. Apollo helps me find the right professional contacts when I need to reach out for work-related communication or collaboration. The search feels simple to use and I can filter people without getting confused. I didn’t have to do much setup to start getting useful results, so it was easy to begin using it. I open it only when needed, and it helps me get contacts faster instead of searching on different platforms. It has the main features I need and works well with the way I already manage contacts, so it fits into my routine without extra effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

At times, when I open a profile, some details take a moment to load, so I wait a bit and then continue. When I am checking a few profiles quickly, the view can feel a little crowded and I have to scroll more than needed. A few filters take some time to understand at first, but it becomes normal after using them once or twice. Also, when I apply many filters together, the page can feel a bit slow to refresh.
