**What do you like best about Apollo.io?**

I use Apollo.io to quickly identify ideal prospects and access correct contact details, which solves the problem of wasting time on bad data and manual prospecting by giving me good contacts. I like Apollo.io because it makes finding the right people easy and saves time. I mostly use the lead search filters and verified contact leads. The initial setup was fairly easy, and I could easily find contact leads.

Sometimes the data is not fully correct.

I use Apollo.io to quickly identify ideal prospects and access correct contact details, solving the problem of wasting time on bad data and manual prospecting by providing good contacts. It makes finding the right people easy and saves me time.

**What do you like best about Apollo.io?**

Apollo is one of the must tools to have if business depends on outbound leads. Features I like about Apollo:

1) Good integration with HubSpot - it gives multiple options to add contacts based on the email activity which i find very useful. Eg- I prefer to only add those contacts to HubSpot which have viewed the emails, Apollo gives me this flexibility and does not add all the contacts enrolled in sequence. 
2)  It has almost all the relevant data points - and has helped us with company and contact data enrichment. 
3) Allows our SDR team to do niche outbounds as it provided very detailed and smart filters like senority, hiring pattern, countries they have employees in etc - all included in ICP.
4) I have also found customer support team very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

There's only two issues with Apollo - 
1) Phone numbers mentioned on Apollo are usually outdated. 
2) Compared to other outbound tools - it's an expensive tool.

**What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apollo gives our BDMs flexibility to generate leads for themselves when our inbound numbers drop. It's an easy to learn tool which allows our team to do outbound campaigns based on ICPs they target - it allows them to exactly filter out the leads they would prefer and it's one place solution for finding emails, creating sequences and keeping a track of their email activity. Everything automatically updates to HubSpot via integration so BDMs don't have to manually do anything on multiple platform. 

It's one of the best tool for outbounds available and provides multiple solutions in one place.

Honestly, I love how easy it is to find the right contacts. It saves me a ton of time, and the data is usually really accurate. Plus, the email sequencing tools make outreach feel simple and organized.

Sometimes the data isn’t as accurate as I’d like, and a few emails bounce back. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be a little frustrating when you’re trying to move fast.  I'd also like to mass email people instead of individually clicking.

Like most software, it's not always accurate. It does find wrong numbers and incorrect emails.

Apollo solves the lack of data issue when doing outbound. I am able to look up right ICPs on LinkedIn, use Apollo to scrape their info and directly add their information into my call sequences.

After a discussion with Apollo.io we agreed to a favorable resolution. Hopefully they update their advertising to honestly represent that credits do not roll over month to month and must be used in the month on the month.

Apollo helps us solve the very real problem of finding and organizing outbound prospects at scale without wasting hours jumping between bad lists, incomplete records, and manual research.

I also like the expanded integration options, which make it easier to sync data across my sales tools without extra manual work. These updates have made my outreach more efficient and data-driven.

While Apollo.io is highly effective, there’s still room to improve the accuracy and freshness of certain contact data to reduce bounce rates. Additionally, introducing more real-time data validation and enriching incomplete profiles would make prospecting even more reliable. A few advanced automation triggers for follow-ups could also further streamline outreach.

It doesn't have features like play, where it goes into multiple channels to confirm valid email addresses or phone numbers from at least 15 or 20 different sources. Also, I want them to improve our European contact details.

I really like Apollo.io’s new AI-driven lead recommendations and the enhanced sequencing tool with better personalization and automated A/B testing. The updated Chrome extension is also a big plus, letting me instantly enrich contact data from LinkedIn or company sites. These upgrades make prospecting faster and more effective.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

While Apollo.io is a powerful tool, I think there’s room to make it even better. The pricing could be more flexible for smaller teams, perhaps with scaled-down plans. Some features have a learning curve, so adding more in-app tutorials or guided workflows could speed up onboarding. Lastly, while the data quality is generally strong, continuing to refine verification processes would help reduce occasional inaccuracies.

TCO is still the best. 
Sequence support can be a good value addition.

1. Earlier the Plugin allowed me to update email address on/through the plugin - now I have to open the Individual View of the person and then add the email, close this tab, go back to LinkedIn, refresh the page to see the email and then trigger a mail. This takes time and an unnecessary long process - Bring back the good old days.
2. The new plugin takes a long time to load
3. Phone numbers are correct 75% of the time.

**Recommendations to others considering Apollo.io:**

I have used Lusha, Zoominfo and Apollo, and hence belive that in terms of and end to end solution, Apollo is the best.

**What do you like best about Apollo.io?**

I like how it helps automate the outreach with mailing with some pre-defined messaging. I like how it's connected with LinkedIn to collect data and run my campaigns. It's also great that I can see all campaigns of my colleagues and leverage some best practices.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

It gets stuck some time when it comes to automated emails, when I expect to send for example 200 emails per day. And it sends only 50 emails. Then it has to be relaunched manually. Apollo support seems to still figuring this out and has not provided a right resolution. Additionally, I think the data from LinkedIn (email addresses and phone numbers) could be much more accurate. I estimate only 30-40% phone numbers to be correct. And probably around 50% of email addresses to be valid. It heavily depends on the region and industry.

It helped to reduce some manual tasks (sending emails) and it provides the data for my target personas (email addresses, phone numbers).

All the options can be overwhelming. Mobile/direct numbers are not too great. This is a weakness Vs other tools.

There's a lot of fluff that gets in the way if you're not using it as a CRM or for outbound communications. Also, the initial setup was difficult.

Apollo.io is an extremely powerful all-in-one platform for B2B prospecting. The size of its database is impressive, and the filtering capabilities are very granular, which makes it easy to build highly targeted lead lists by role, seniority, industry, company size, and tech stack. I also value how well it combines contact data with engagement tools (email sequencing, basic CRM-like features), which reduces the need to jump between multiple tools. The Chrome extension is another strong point—it integrates smoothly with LinkedIn and speeds up prospecting workflows significantly.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

Data accuracy can be inconsistent. Some contacts are outdated, emails bounce more than expected, or job titles don’t always reflect current roles. The UI, while functional, can feel overwhelming at times, especially for new users—there’s a learning curve before you can fully take advantage of its capabilities. I also think reporting and analytics could be more intuitive and flexible.

I use Apollo every day. Our gaming startup has been relying on it as our primary lead generation and CRM system for the past two months, and it's been incredibly powerful. I love that everything is integrated into one platform: lead generation, detailed filtering to narrow down exactly who you're looking for, email and contact validation (which used to require a separate tool), and the ability to build out full sales funnels using their "Sequences" feature. It gives you complete control over what’s automated and what isn’t.

As someone managing our sales outreach efforts, I really appreciate that I can assign tasks and leads to different team members. The browser extension is also excellent—it lets me easily add leads I come across while browsing. Apollo’s AI features are genuinely useful too, especially the contact enrichment that auto-fills missing data when you add incomplete contacts. Overall, it’s a super versatile tool that does everything I need.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

To be upfront, I’m relatively new to running sales campaigns, and Apollo can be overwhelming at first. There’s definitely a steep learning curve, and it requires some time and planning before you can dive in effectively. I wish the platform were a bit more intuitive for beginners, though to their credit, the onboarding session was very helpful, and their live chat support is incredibly fast and responsive when I run into issues the AI chatbot can’t solve.

Some practical limitations: the LinkedIn integration is quite limited. I’d love to see response rates, connection request acceptance, and other analytics from our LinkedIn efforts directly within Apollo, but right now that requires manual tracking. Also, the platform can be resource-heavy—on my 8GB RAM laptop, things get very slow when loading large contact lists. That’s more of a limitation on my end, but it’s worth noting.

Apollo.io has become an essential tool for my outbound prospecting. The accuracy of contact data, the volume of verified emails, and the ability to build targeted lists quickly save me hours every week. I also love how the platform integrates with LinkedIn, email, and CRM so that I don’t need to juggle multiple tools. The sequences and automation features make it easy to scale outreach while keeping it personalized.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

While Apollo.io is incredibly useful, the occasional outdated contact information and bounced emails can be frustrating. The UI can also feel a bit overwhelming at first because there are so many features to explore. A slightly simpler onboarding and faster sync with CRM would make the experience even better.

Apollo.io helps me solve three major challenges: finding accurate prospect data, managing multi-channel outreach, and improving response rates. Before Apollo, building a clean contact list and running personalized sequences across email and calls was extremely time-consuming. Now, I can:

Quickly find verified contacts across industries and geographies

Launch multi-step outreach campaigns from a single platform

Track engagement metrics and make data-driven adjustments

This has significantly improved my productivity, reduced manual effort, and allowed me to hit my outreach targets faster.

**What do you like best about Apollo.io?**

What stands out the most is how much time Apollo saves me in my outreach workflow. I use it primarily for lead generation and cold email campaigns. The contact database is huge, and the filters let me narrow down exactly who I want to target by title, company size, tech stack, etc. Once I build a list, I can launch email sequences directly from Apollo and track opens, clicks, and replies without leaving the platform. It’s a massive time-saver compared to switching between multiple tools. I also use the Chrome extension a lot while browsing LinkedIn, which makes it easy to add contacts to lists.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

One challenge I’ve had is data accuracy. While the contact database is large, some emails bounce or are outdated, especially for startups or lesser-known companies. I’ve learned to verify emails through another tool when accuracy is critical. Also, the platform can feel a little overwhelming at first. There are a lot of features packed in, and it takes some time to get used to the layout. It’s powerful, but the learning curve is there.

Before using Apollo, I was spending hours manually finding leads and managing outreach with spreadsheets and Gmail. It has a easy integration system with hubspot or with any other crm.. it automates the lead generation creation

The data should be updated in every 6 months, though it has more than 2.8M but only few times the number provided is wrong or not available… if they can update their data set may be in every 6 months it would be great

**What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First of all the UI is too good as compared to Lusha or Zoom info with lesser price.
The email tracking is on next level.. the workflow automates the email campaign and delivers it without any intervention.
