the pricing is too much as per Indian standards and for small business. additionally, it was earlier comes with email warmup and since the update they have removed this feature and when we want to warm up our mailboxes it charge a heavy credits they should reduce this

I have been using apollo.io for more than 3 years and I would suggest that it is the best ai tool I ever used, because they give almost 200+ free credit when you enroll first with a mail id. I almost got every mail id that I needed with free of cost. VERY ATTRACTIVE. E specially the filters works very well when you need more company details in a particular industry.

Sometimes it gives false mail ids which is created by apollo itself. It is a problem when the mails bounce back. They should be more careful about the authenticity of the data.

Apollo.io is the best when it comes to the competitive pricing. they charge very low amount of money comparing to the others and also giving lot of free credits. It helps in my lead generation and mail marketing.

I like the dialer and the ease of data export. I really enjoy the dialer because it ensures I don't contact two different people within the same organization. This means I can perform a large volume of outbound calling accurately, avoiding stepping on the toes of other employees within the same company. The initial setup was very straightforward, and the onboarding team was fantastic.

The accuracy of the phone numbers. I think it could be improved. At the moment, I'm finding the correct one about 70% of the time, but a lot of times the person has left the company or the phone number does not exist for some reason.

The setup was easy for me, and the system works fast and is responsive.

Sometimes emails of people are not accessible due to Apollo.io credit limits on the free tier. That is an issue for me. Companies should be listed after more security checking and sometimes email and phone numbers are not updated well, so that is also a problem.

The thing I like most about Apollo is that even with the free version, we can find out the email IDs of the prospects, and certain functions can be run, which makes it ideal for beginners as well.

Also, the Chrome extension makes it even better as it comes in handy and we can just use it anywhere within one click and extract the email ids and phone numbers of the prospects. Very helpful!

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

What I dislike about Apollo is that we can't say dislike, but if I have to say any restriction is on the features. It is a good tool, but the features are limited to a certain number of times and attempts, which makes it difficult for new companies or startups to use it efficiently. Hence, their premium package is expensive for early-stage startups.

My suggestion is that they can bundle all the valuable features and make an affordable package for individuals and also for early-stage startups that require limited features like prospecting, linking sequence, and automated email sequences.

The main problem Apollo.io solves is Lead generation. In sales, lead generation plays a very major and important role and is a keystone for the further sales process. I really like the new AI assistant in Apollo.io. It's kind of a game changer for tools like this because it's incredibly versatile. Having this AI assistant has made things much easier, even though you do need to prompt it quite a bit. It's very capable once you figure out how to prompt it properly. It’s a time saver because you can just tell it what you wanna do and it does it, rather than having to understand all the nuances of the platform. It’s quicker and pretty intuitive, especially if you're used to tools like ChatGBT or Perplexity. Everything else in setting up is super easy.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

It does use a lot of memory. If you don't have a good computer that has enough RAM, it's gonna run really slow. The AI assistant still has some tweaks that need to be implemented, especially because the messaging it composes for emails and outreach is still very generic. I would not trust the AI assistant to make a copy for me at this point without putting a lot of effort in.

The premise is promising, and it has many aspects that I actually enjoy. For example, the AI features are good on the surface.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

There's not enough space. 

1. You have no customer support. It's all bot-based that runs you in circles. When I had a question, it gave me the wrong information. When I asked for more information, it then told me to reach out to support via email which isn't published anywhere. It's a horrible model for a SaaS. 

2. The information is incorrect. It's wrong more often than not. When we look up our own company, it's missing most of our senior leadership. This isn't worth the money to get such bad information.

3. Apollo was kicked off of LinkedIn for their practices, which is the core of their data collection. It's not a good look.

We were wanting a lead enrichment tool to enhance our sales strategy.

What I like best about Apollo.io is the combination of prospecting and outreach in one platform. Beyond just contact data, it helps manage sequences, track engagement and prioritize leads which makes the sales workflow more structured and efficient.

What I dislike is that while the data coverage is good, accuracy can vary for certain regions and roles, so contacts still need manual verification. Also, when running multiple sequences, credits and limits become noticeable which forces you to be more selective with outreach. The platform is powerful but it can feel slightly overwhelming until you get used to the workflows.

I love the new AI feature that integrates with Claude and other AI LLMs. After attending an Apollo networking event, I was really impressed by their go-to-market engineer elaborating on the latest AI capabilities. I had no idea Apollo was so robust, and I'm excited to learn and expand my knowledge within the system.

I think navigating the platform is tricky. It takes a long time to ramp up and feel comfortable. Perhaps the user experience and interface could be improved. Even though Apollo has an Apollo Academy, a bigger push on this academy would help people ramp up and use their system a lot faster. The initial setup was not that easy; it took reading many articles and watching videos to understand customization and get my desired data. It's not an easy platform to just pick up and go, but Apollo can definitely deliver immediate results with conversion if back end setup is done correct and accurate.

I like all the data that is available. The system is super intuitive once you learn the process and can dial in for leads. Customer support was super helpful as well walking me through the stages of using their system. Then you have the company look alike feature that potentially allows your build a vertical market if you have success in an area which is really nice. You are offered a free period and there is a user free option as well that affords time to learn while working which is a huge plus, could easily use this service daily multiple times a day and link your email accounts for more efficiency and integration to systems.

With all the information provided there is a learning curve for sure, but customer support helps. I'm just not sure that even though you have the contact information of who your looking for that this is any better than printing out a list of companies and just cold calling to find all the information. While the platform is easy to use and offers impressive features, I find it frustrating that they keep pushing all users to adopt their new feature updates, even when those updates aren't relevant to everyone.

Apollo.io's new credit usage model is a poor decision, as it impacts all users, including those who have been with them for a long time. Having been a client for six years, I find this change unacceptable. The monthly credits have dropped from 10,000 to just 4,000, which is a significant reduction. What makes it even worse is that unused credits no longer roll over to the next month. They claim to offer a unified credit pool, but if that's truly the case, I should be able to use my leftover credits for other features.

> Thanks for the thoughtful feedback, and for sticking with Apollo for six years. We’re glad the platform has been easy to use and useful for your team.

On product updates: we hear you. We ship quickly, and not every new capability is relevant to every workflow. We’re continuing to improve how updates are introduced so you have more control and clarity on what’s changing and why.

On credits: we understand why this may feel like a step backward, especially if you were used to a higher monthly credit allotment and rollover. A couple clarifications that may help:

Unified credits means the same credit pool can be used across multiple actions (email, mobile data, etc.), so you can put usage towards what matters most to you that month.

Unified credits does not mean rollover. Unused credits resetting monthly is a separate policy.

We also want to acknowledge the broader point: earlier plans did include unusually high email credits for even a single seat, and we’ve adjusted packaging over time as we’ve expanded coverage and invested in data, infrastructure, and new capabilities. We still aim to keep Apollo materially more cost-effective than alternatives, but that doesn’t make this change any less frustrating if you've grown used to that credit allotment.

If you’re open to it, our team can review your current plan and workflow to make sure you’re using everything as efficiently as possible, and share options to get closer to the volume you need.

I really appreciate the easy-to-use platform of Apollo.io, which makes it simple to navigate and operate. The AI Apollo assistant is another feature I value greatly as it cuts my time in half. I also like its cloud integration, which enhances my workflow. Additionally, Apollo.io saves us a lot of time and solves many of our copywriting issues while improving coordination across the team. I find it does a great job with lead generation and provides accurate information.

apollo.io is great but just like other tools it also has some flaws like eg. at certain time the data is repetitive and the people contact are of same company apart from this the tool is great.

I like the sequence feature in Apollo.io because it makes following sequences much easier when it comes to outbound prospecting. It also helps in organizing contacts, which improves my outreach and efficiency during outbound outreach.

The speed. It takes a lot of time to load information, and it takes a lot of memory and bandwidth Internet bandwidth. I wish you could be improving that
