I like the sequence feature in Apollo.io because it makes following sequences much easier when it comes to outbound prospecting. It also helps in organizing contacts, which improves my outreach and efficiency during outbound outreach.

The speed. It takes a lot of time to load information, and it takes a lot of memory and bandwidth Internet bandwidth. I wish you could be improving that

The interface has clearly improved significantly; it's much more user-friendly and streamlined. The prospecting process is also much faster and more accurate, with excellent and intuitive filters.

The quality of data for countries outside the United States could be improved, as I am located in Colombia and often the data is inaccurate or outdated.

**What do you like best about Apollo.io?**

I really like how Apollo Sequences make it easy to keep track of my prospects and where they are in the process and it even takes them off the list automatically when they reply. 

The built-in AI is super handy for drafting emails on the go without needing another tool. It also connects smoothly with HubSpot, which makes everything feel seamless. 

And Apollo's Youtube videos are actually useful and help me apply things to my own use case.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

I’ve noticed that sometimes Lusha can enrich a contact when Apollo can’t extract the information. 

I’d also love to see a “strategy” panel in Apollo something that gives a visual overview of a company’s hierarchy and teams, so it’s easier to plan outreach to different groups.

**What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apollo makes it easy to find prospects at a company, add them to a list, and then put them into a sequence for targeted cold outreach all in one place, so I’m not jumping between different tools. Writing emails is simple too, and the sequences let me use dynamic variables and set timing so I don’t have to stress about being marked as spam.

Apollo.io is a great platform used by the sales team in our company. The huge database, The segmentation tools are very useful for identifying leads and also the intergration with CRM and candence flow. The AI feathers are very useful for drafting emails without using any another tool. It is very easy to use and understand. We use apolli.io everyday for leads, data and email work. The customer support is very helpful whenever we have faced any issues. It was a very easy implementation for us. Very smooth.

Nothing as of now. Really enjoy using it.

The huge data base is very helpful to find good leads and helps the sales team to connect to the right people. Also the email help we get due to the AI helps the team. Currently we have 2 accounts with the senior manager being the main buyer.

I really appreciate how easy Apollo.io is to use; its user-friendly interface significantly enhances my experience. Moreover, the data Apollo.io provides is extremely up-to-date, which is crucial for maintaining accuracy and reliability in my work. Additionally, I am impressed by the smooth initial setup process, which was made seamless by the excellent support from their onboarding specialist. This assistance ensured we got up and running swiftly without any hitches.

I think some of the pricing is interesting. It's not necessarily a bad thing, but for the price you pay, I feel like you should get a couple of thousand more credits. I would also love a better way to integrate email with HubSpot without having to connect a mailbox and instead be able to directly integrate email campaigns into HubSpot.

I use Apollo.io to solve list building and data needs with up-to-date information. It automates sequences similar to HubSpot, ensuring our data is always current and accurate.

The best thing about Apollo.io is how easy it is to find the right contacts and companies in one place. The Chrome extension and integrations with LinkedIn save a ton of time, and the sequences feature makes outreach consistent. It really feels like an all-in-one tool instead of needing five different platforms.

Sometimes the contact data can be outdated or missing direct emails, which slows things down. The interface can also feel a little heavy at times when switching between search, sequences, and analytics.

**What problems is Apollo.io solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Apollo.io solves the challenge of finding the right people and companies to reach out to without wasting hours switching between tools. It gives me accurate contact data, easy filtering, and sequencing in one place, which makes prospecting and outreach much faster. The biggest benefit for me has been cutting down the time it takes to build targeted lists and then being able to reach out in a structured, consistent way. It keeps everything in one flow instead of feeling scattered across different platforms.

Considering the breadth involved, Apollo's data is very impressive. The data oriented processes are easy to use, and covers SMB and mid-market much better than its peers. The overall suite has broad capability, implementation is easy, and it integrates with many lead point solutions. Apollo's dev team aggressively pushes new features; if you have heard of a functionality and Apollo doesn't have it, it probably will soon.

**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

Reporting is very difficult, and workflow rules are very difficult to audit. The Salesforce sync is erratic, but Apollo's data is so comprehensive that many GTM teams will be faced with a parallel CRM with lots of information siloed from the rest of the organization. Building a scalable org with the sequencing tools is not advised, though it fits early stage startups.

Apollo provides comprehensive phone numbers and emails for prospects in our TAM and helps us identify if our data is accurate regarding the depth and bread of our TAM. We previously used the platform for Sales Engagement, so it helped maintain strong delivery through inbox rotation.

The best thing about Apollo.io is how quickly I can find and qualify prospects. The combination of a large contact database, simple filtering, and built-in outreach tools saves me a ton of time. I also like that everything — email sequences, analytics, and lead lists — lives in one place, so I don’t have to jump between multiple tools.

The main drawback for me is the data accuracy — some emails or phone numbers tend to bounce, especially in certain regions. The UI can also feel a bit heavy at times, and the system slows down when running larger searches. Nothing major, but it does interrupt the workflow occasionally.

Perhaps the enrichment of phones or emails. Sometimes, I feel like it's filled in when I click on it, and so I spend credits. It tells me that there isn't necessarily something there. So, in this case, I would like to be informed to avoid spending credits for nothing.

Apollo is strong for business development and gaining the means to reach decision makers.  They have fairly easy use for a busy salesperson.  It's really easy to implement, you just add the extension or use the app.  It integrates well with the rest of our sales technology stack.  Customer support was better than average.

I found there was slightly less data available than competitors.  Still a robust amount of data to keep you busy.

Generally Customer support is very solid, going out of the their way to help us set-up our business. Sequences are a huge help for our business and they are easy to implement and track. I use Apollo daily and their task feature allows me to get a ton of stuff done. It is easy to track how our leads are doing and see detailed reply rates. It integrates well with Zapier and other 3rd party tools/CRMs.

The platform is a bit dense, tough to figure out how to derive all the value possible. Sometimes it struggles to get leads for smaller sized businesses

There are two main problems. First is the Lead Capture. They have a great database of verified leads and emails that has opened doors to great conversations for us. Easy to find leads and has helped grow our sales channel. Second, the sequences feature allows us to maximize our email deliverability and track data that is tough to track manually.

After contracting for specific features and pricing, my account was unilaterally moved to a "new plan variant" as part of their "consolidated credit system," fundamentally altering what I paid for. When I contacted customer service, they refused to honor the original contracted terms, citing that "plan variations and pricing are automatically generated" and they are "unable to adjust or honor previous pricing." This approach represents a breach of contractual trust and creates uncertainty for business users who need reliable service agreements. Potential customers should be aware that your contracted terms may be subject to automatic changes without your consent, making Apollo unsuitable for businesses requiring contractual stability and transparent communication.

I like that you can sort your daily tasks by type, so you get in a groove with sending emails, or messages on LinkedIn before moving on to the next type of task. It's very helpful to see job updates for prospects when you click on their name, and the ease of updating and then sync with Hubspot truly helps streamline the process.

I have been using Apollo.io’s lead enrichment and email sequencer tools for some time now, and I like their efficient design (not too minimalist, not too crowded). Many may find it a little crowded, but reducing complexity always comes at the expense of feature depth or requiring multiple clicks to access key tools. Apollo.io ensures that critical features like lead enrichment, contact filtering, and sequence creation are readily available with minimal navigation.

 Their browser plugin to find contact information from a LinkedIn profile, which they claim can also work on other pages, but I have not been able to try it out. It allows you to save the contact, add a contact to a list, and enroll them in a sequence without leaving the LinkedIn site. On top of manually adding contacts through the plugin, they have recently updated their automatic lead generation based on the criteria you specify. It is not perfect, but it is a great tool


**What do you dislike about Apollo.io?**

They continue to add AI-powered tools without considering that I might want to use a particular AI. Other providers are integrating the GPT of your choice; here, you have to use their AI. 
Yes, it is great you offer this, but today is better to offer choice that force your onw. 

Also, their communication of new features is poor. I find out new features they have because their competitors start to offer them, and when I look at those features in Apollo, I find that they have something available. 

With the addition of new features, their user interface has been getting slower and slower.

Cold sales email automation, contact information-sourcing out of a profile search, and email sequencing.

We have been able to have a balance of manual curating the contacts we want to include in our automation and leave Apollo to do the rest.

In the People section, I can target and filter out the perfect audience, clearly displaying their details such as phone number, email id, industry, and much more. Creating lists and naming them makes it very convenient to manage contacts effectively. In the Sequence section, I find it simple to create and send emails from scratch, ensuring they are dispatched easily one after the other. The AI feature is fantastic, enabling me to increase the open rate of emails. I also appreciate the email automation – it allows emails to be sent at the scheduled time with a natural flow, avoiding overly forced outputs. The neat and clean interface of Apollo.io becomes very easy to use once understood, and its initial setup was super easy.
