I am using it for years now, and it has worked out for me always. I would recommend it to many of you guys.
It is Easy to Use and Interface is friendly.
I frequently uses it and I have implemented it for my College project and now for my Job as well.
Their AI enabled Customer support is also nice.

We were using it at a very basic level to generate prospecting lists that we would export and use in a manual sales engement process. Once we learned of Apollo's full capabilities, notably in automating sales email prospecting through sequencing, we realized we could 10x our prospecting output and do so in an automated fashion. I would say that it takes a very technical person to put together your sequencing, work flows, and searching contacts properly to really put the system to good use. A typical sales person isn't going to be able to dive so deep in to all the tecnical aspects of this tool. Personally, i have been struggling with the update data on the platform. It seems kind of ridiculus to me that once I save a contact I cant have any updated information on them unless I pay.
Also, I think the support is taking a lot of time, it used to be a bit faster, but last times I wanted to contact there were hours in between. Least few features need to be there for the Basic subscription. Like Sending in sequence is very important for us to remain with Apollo. Provide more analysis and information on the company and contacts.
Make really attractive emails giving them urgency to buy our solution.
Further, UX should be improved for the selection of features on the left columns. Because Founder like will not have time to learn the entire tool. It should make our lives very easy. One more important thing, if Apollo want to be giant company , focus on giving initial months discount to Founders, because if that startup grows , they will stick with Apollo for ever and imagine the MRR . For me, price to value ratio is a bit low, but the thing is my plan doesn't include enough for me to expect more than it can, so the credits are good, as I can call and email for my sequences pretty well. Our onboarding specialist Noah, was absolutely fantastic. He was able to both get the majority of our team who were not familiar with Apollo at all to a point where they can use it with no issues, but also help a more experienced user like myself dig into the more complex stuff such as Workflows.
He helped me set up the Workflows I wanted from scratch and had absolutely no issue with that when I brought it up.
He had a great demeanor, was super friendly, very patient, and had a great knowledge of the platform for the little time he's been there.
The integration was SUPER easy as well; most of it is as simple as navigating to the connections tab and clicking "connect".
We will be using Apollo every day for our GTM strategy, and Noah was able to help us get everything up and running to our preferences perfectly.

Nothing. It is way more cost effective than competitors such as SalesLoft & ZoomInfo. We were quoted for both and Apollo not only gave us WAY more credits, but also came in at about 1/5th the price. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The lack of or unavailability of international calling plans for starter plans is a downside. The international calling plan needs at least 3 users, whereas there are organizations with just one or two sales reps that require international calling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that finding people and companies on the platform is easy, or at least not that hard. I really like the LinkedIn extension, it makes things run smoothly and easier when trying to target specific people.
I also like how easy it is to set up sequences, add steps and track their status.

I dislike customer support. To be honest it always takes them a very long time to reply, and I don't always get a right answer. I also do not like that there is tons of data that is not updated. Maybe someone changed jobs and the platform knows it, but the old email stays there with the new company as their place of work, which makes no sense. Also new features are hard to try: I thought I understood plays (I didn't) and now workflows seem very hard to get to be honest. The best thing apollo has is the ability to research the database based on your ICP. It has a lot of filters to narrow down your search and find the right prospects which even tool like sales navigator doesn't have. The emails and direct dials are 90% correct.
Over the last few months, they have also added interesting features like Buying Intent and tracking website visits.

I feel that there is a learning curve to understand the interface and use it to its to its full potential.
